So I just got laid off from work cause of this covid 19 recently

So I thought replacing the Mobo with a new one solves the issue...it doesn't...
The water cooler h105 I have inside the original doesn't have enough power to cool it down. Reaches 83 degrees.

Apparently cause the guy in the repair shop misplaced between the y connector from the radiator fan with the CPU fan for the water block.so waterblock didn't have enough power to pump it.

I brought it back. See him put the cable back in the right place and replace the thermal paste with mine the deep cool z5 paste

So it work.... Temperature never reached above 75 celcius.

Played destiny 2 fine for 8 hours. But then played Titan Fall 2 for 2 hours before it literally locked in frame.

I turn it off. Tried turning it back on but this thing only.stays on for 2 second before turning off again. It won't stop turning off and on repeatedly

Seriously...fuck it. I'm running out of funds trying to fix this.


EDIT: Crisis has been averted. Apparently the power cable from PSU INTO the VGA was somehow loose (even tho it shows white led meaning it was connected)

Managed to fix it by unplugging and plugging the cable in tighter...for now

okay so. i replaced the motherboard, asus maximus hero 7 was the issue, a short circuit in the board causes it to become literally dead

so i had to replace it with a lower mobo
asus H81m-k... it is the only mobo available with an LGA1150 chip slot for my i7 4790k since other similar gaming mobo with an LGA1150 by asus is not in production since 3 years ago

problem now this thing only has 2 ddr3 ram slot so i can only have 16gb of ram instead of 32
and it has no fan control so this thing is very...very loud


and if i want to upgrade my mobo same like into maybe an asus b360 that means i need a new cpu to fit the lga1151 and a DDR4 ram which means more expensses

Well this is great. Last few days my PC won't boot up straight away so I turn it off and on again and it usually starts back with a beep and goes normal

Now no matter how many time I tried it won't start at all.

Meaning there is a bent CPU pin or something

I tried resetting cmos and it still doesn't work

Worst case scenario I have to buy a new CPU...
I really hate to ask but how much is an i7 4790k Intel CPU cost today?

And what's a better replacement at a slightly higher cost? (Not using amd. Straight Intel)
