This account is now officially dead. I have moved to this one  abstractmethod for personal reasons. Mainly I wanted a username that wasn't so defined and wasn't happy with my fursona. See you on the flip side.

I may create a new account and leave this old one to rot. I've been considering it for a while now. I still don't know for certain who and what my fursona is, and so that I can change it whenever I want, I think I'm going to create a new account with a name that is ambiguous and related to me, not any possible fursona.

I'll post if and when this happens.

Kian's had a bit of a redesign. Let's call this part of Phase 2, which exists as of now because I said so. Phase 1 was me finding my feet in the fandom and creating an initial fursona, Phase 2 sees me redesign Kian to something I much prefer, and create my alt fursona, Ciaro.

So, what does Kian now look like, you ask (except for the fact the no-one ever reads my journals). Well, Kian now has a green-black colour scheme. If you want to know specifically what colours, see these links -

I took a lot of inspiration from these for his new colours. I also took a lot of inspiration in the actual character design from some of lapfox's album covers, and graffiti I have seen while travelling Europe.

The end result is something I feel I can relate to much more, but at the same time that is further removed from myself. Kian is street-cool now, and I am also ready to see him drawn in more cartoony, less traditional ways.

So, Kian has a black base, with yellow-green accents and fluoro green features. Think plenty of sweet fedora's, a healthy dollop of tinted shades, and a generally funner, more lively charatcer.

I really like Kian now. Before he didn't feel quite right. Now he's fun and awesome.

Now I need to get some artwork comissioned...

I'm starting to feel the fact that I'm on the other side of the world. I'm so far away from the people I want to see right now. MSN and Skype are very good, but don't provide what I crave - touch. I want to let out emotions that words can't. On the subject of language, I'm getting sick of having to try to speak German - trying to convey complex ideas with the skill of a sledgehammer wielding child - or talking to people who speak never-quite-fluent english. I wouldn't say that I'm just homesick (although I am homesick). I am equally Germanysick. I feel like I need both a familiar setting and break from this country for a few days, however I still have over a month to go. But hey. This is what I came out here for. Character building as I draw ever-closer to adulthood.

I woke up yesterday and out of nowhere a new fursona hit me smack bang in the face, pretty much fully formed too - Ciaro ("Seeyaro") a snow leopard with some funky ice-themed coloring. I don't know what I'm going to do with him yet... develop him, use him as an alt fursona or even adopt him as my main one. All I know is he's awesome and he's here XD

There's only 18 days now until I fly out for Germany. I went into the bank today to get all my cash sorted, I have the equivalent of $1500 NZ for 2 months. I'm pretty pleased! So close now.

This is about a week late for me to get these things like this before I fly to Germany. *Sigh* I need to start getting some furry gear. I'm going to die if I have to keep neglecting Kian.

So, as you'll all probably learn, I have horribly unreliable internet. It LITERALLY changes with the wind the way it's set up. If I suddenly drop out of messenger or something, don't take it personally, it's my crappy country set up.

I had an awesome time! First time I've met any furs irl. You guys were so nice! I really felt comfortable, it was awesome fun, and I want MOAR ^^ *Sigh* Curse being young. So close but so far from 18. Anyway, here I am, Kian Forepaw, and I would love to start getting involved with the NZ furs crowd more. :3
