Further Confusion was a blast as always. Had an awesome time hanging out with who was kind enough to be my personal handler and SPOIL me for every other con I go to where I don't have one! Met so many awesome people for the first time, and wished I had time to go hang out with so many other people. I REALLY need to start planning cons out more so I know who to see and hang out with and such! Didn't do the dance comp, but I got some nice photos at least. Watching everyone REALLY makes me want to get better and show everyone what I can do! But back to the practice room for now and for awhile...

I actually participated in the Critter Olympics this year. Had a lot of fun too! Might have to do that more often! =D However, there is NO WAY you are going to get me to play musical chairs or any other game like that. Saw a few suiters nearly get a concussion from a game where you had to be the first to grab a 'comet' to move on to the next round. Yeah... NOT doing that. Dun wanna rip a seam or, worse yet, bust my skull open! My joints are bad enough as it is thankyouverymuch!

All in all, awesome con, and worth it as always! Hopefully I can make it out again next year!

Moving on! Recently I had a friend get me interested in chain mail and making weaves and bracelets and necklaces. I instantly got hooked and I'm buying more supplies of my own now to start making things and new projects! So... if anyone is interested, I'll be posting a few pictures and maybe even opening up for commissions if people seem interested. I started out by making a Half-Persian bracelet that I THOUGHT was 3-1... but ended up being 4-1... and couldn't explain properly why the 3-1 weave wasn't working to my friends when I tried to show it to them! =P

But yeah... I will probably be selling a few things soon... so I'd love to gauge interest from people to see if anyone would want a piece perhaps. I will be offering custom color combinations, but not necessarily custom colors since I don't paint the rings myself or such. But yeah... once I have a few pieces that look pretty, I'll post photos and gauge interest off of that.

Yup! I'mma be going! =D Excited as all hell to get out to Cali again this year and say hi to everyone out there! =^.^= Big plans? Not really, the usual. Go, see what mischief can be gotten into, and make it! Standard kitsune stuff! I'll be getting there a little late since I'll be arriving on the 17'th. But I'm also leaving the Monday after the convention too. So that's a plus! If you want to hang out or such, please let me know. I always love meeting new people and also hanging out with old friends! Probably going to have to go to Psycho Donuts while I'm there. And if you haven't been there before, I'm dragging you along for the ride! That place is addicting and makes awesome stuff!

Also, something new I'm going to try this year while I'm there... I've been told by some fursuiters that they liked my pictures and would be interested in doing a photo shoot of sorts. I only have a camera, no professional set up stuff like they usually have at conventions. But if anyone is interested, I think it might be fun to set up a 1 on 1 kind of photoshoot with some furs. Not sure how I'd do it. Either scout out someplace good for taking shots, or wander about and follow the suiter to get some action shots. Or maybe even both! Dunno... But if you're interested, I'll be happy to help out. Just let me know you're interested in maybe having a personal 'photoshoot' done at FC and we'll see what can be arranged! Granted, I probably won't do a TON of these since I want to go suiting and do other panels as well! But, we'll see how many can be fit in.

Well, I had my first SCA event yesterday which was a blast! I am now authorized to fight in single rapier and even got a kill in my first tournament! I also impressed her Majesty, the Queen, with my linguistic skills during the Queen's "Insult Tournament" where we got to insult the Queen's Guard and then challenge them to a fight. I didn't win, but at least I made people smile and laugh and also had a blast!

However, while there I noticed my student ID for college that I need to take the bus to and from campus was missing! And... since I was 3 hours away from home, I thought I was screwed but didn't let it bother me. I could have just left it at home after all. Upon return home, I get a Facebook message from a friend saying they found it at the BP they work at! I was surprised at how lucky and random that was! This morning, I drive down to pick it up and lo and behold, they have it and I manage to collect it and save myself $15 in having to buy a new one!

On the way home from the gas station though, I hit a patch of black ice since it is JUST getting down to freezing temperatures now that I wasn't expecting. Since this is on an exit ramp, I have two options, either ram into the guard rail on the outside, straighten out, or go into the ditch on the inside of the curve! Well, I avoided the two extremes, but not without cost. I did a 180 and jumped the curb on the inside, but didn't roll down the ravine and into some serious trouble. As it is, car makes a weird 'whirrring' noise when the tires are running that stops when I'm not moving. So I may have knocked something out of line. And I also lost a detail panel on the driver's side of the car.

So long story short, had an awesome time at the SCA event! Lost my student ID which cost me $15 and recovered it for $X, which is still to be determined when I take my car into the shop to get it looked at.

"May you live in interesting times." Oh... they're interesting alright!

Edit: I'm fine! My car is mostly fine and still runs. So don't worry about me! I just might not be able to make it to LAFF next weekend if my car is still getting looked at.

Okay... so I heard good things about using the "RAW" image type on my camera to better be able to play with the pictures and such. So I figured I'd try it out! Well... I was going through my photos cuz I wanted to post them today and start sorting through them! Well... turns out I'm REALLY smart cuz you need a special program or codec to be able to work with that file type. So... pardon the delays while I figure out how to deal with this .NEF file type! =P

This con was fucking amazing in so many ways! I apologize to all those who wanted sparkle hugs and didn't get them. I was focusing more on being social this con and taking photos. Both of which I have trouble doing in suit. >.> I find in suit I wander more and don't hang out with people and chat as much.... and paws don't lead to being able to take photos... But I'll try to be out and about more in suit next time.

Speaking of photos! I like to think I got a bunch of good ones! But first I need to sort through them all and see what I actually have. Then... I need to go through the process of posting them without flooding FA and getting in trouble for that! I know there are some furs I told I got good shots of them, and I WILL post them in time! I just need to get everything sorted out first! >.< Should only take a couple of days hopefully before they start flooding FA anyway! =3

Also... Dance Competitions... Holy... Hell! I didn't make the cut into the Dance Competition, but I got to be part of the opening Choreography! It was awesome! =D taught us all the routine the night before and was a very patient teacher for us all. He also put the entire thing together, so MAJOR props to him! I'll probably post a link to a youtube video once someone posts it.

However, the main event? DAMN! There were 21 dancers, and 20 acts so there was one paired up group. I swear, if I was a judge for this I would have just cried. There were so many amazing dancers with so many different styles that there was no way I would have been able to decide a winner! Once videos get posted, watch these things and see for yourself! It was CRAZY!

And there is no way I was going to participate in Floor Wars, but if you're ever at a con where they do it... GO SEE IT! The moves you'll see, the adrenaline, everything is just amazing and so cool to watch! I got a bunch of shots from that since I wasn't participating in that event. So I'll show you guys some of the sweet things the competitors did in that as well!

Finally, WAAAAAY too many names to mention! Everyone I got a chance to talk to this weekend made the entire convention AWESOME! Hugs and love to all of you for being the cool people you are.

And now?... I need to start trying to get my schedule to fit back into real life again! >.<

Okay... this thought never occurred to me before. However, I was just wondering how many people here actually like the concept of custom handmade quilts? Also, how much would you be willing to pay for a full size quilt that was custom made for you with your colors and such on it? Huzzah! The site is MOSTLY back up and operational! It took the site being down for 5 days for me to realize just how much time I actually spend on this damn thing! >.< Oh well, I also learned I CAN survive without it without even going crazy! So HAH! =D

College classes have started and we're almost done with week two. So far the double math classes aren't killing me, the Communications class is interesting, and Artificial Intelligence is something that's fascinated me for awhile! So that one is going well also! =^.^= Here's hoping to keep it up for the rest of the semester. Zumba is fun! Going to try and go 2-3 times a week to both get into better shape and maybe learn some new dance moves. They even have something called Hip-Hop Hustle which is like Zumba, but to hip-hop stuff! So even MORE excited to try that!

Have a few things in the works... looking forward to MFF! I've got my song selected, I just need to cut it and then work on the dance. Also, then I need to make it past the prelims too! So excited for MFF this year!

First off, YAY! I now have a computer chair! I've had a computer desk... but no chair... so I've been sitting on my bed with my laptop in my lap for the longest time. But now.... I actually have a chair! And it's COMFY! Thanks to for helping me pick it out and carry it. Even if she DID stub her foot on the way out!

College! Yup, I know I'm late to the ball game. Most places have already been in session for a week or two. But we're just starting up on Tuesday. So... classes! Math, math, and artificial intelligence. Throw in another comp sci class and that's my schedule for this semester. So yup! Hopefully have SkyNet operational by the end of the semester! =^.^=

Alright! So... Me and some friends are located on the Dragonbrand server in case anyone is looking for us. Also, we're starting a guild as well called, "Four on the Floor" with the tag of "Paws". The idea is that Charr run on all fours, so it's kinda suited towards them. But anyone is welcome! Also, this allows it to accept non-furry members without too much worry. However, if anyone is interested in joining just say so! =^.^= I'll be more then happy to invite anyone to our ranks. Just let me know you're interested! Also, you don't even have to be on our server to get in. Arenanet was very nice to make guesting and such possible! omg... I LOVE this character! She's cute, adorable, and is awesome in so many ways that I can't even describe! She breaks the fourth wall at times, has some great punch lines, and is FULL of character!

The character is from Dust: An Elysian Tail which I bought yesterday on Xbox Live Arcade for $15. Anyway, this tiny Nimbat is trully awesome and I want one, NAOW! =D

Wow... I just tried the trial and this game is interesting! I'm VERY tempted to buy the full game, especially since it's only $15. >.>
