Livestreaming Question
General | Posted 13 years agoOkay guys! Diablo 3 servers are down right now, but I'm going to have some fun when they come back up!
There are 5 classes in game.
-Monk
-Demon Hunter
-Witch Doctor
-Barbarian
-Wizard
I'm going to make a Hardcore character when servers come back up and play until either I go to sleep tonight or I die! And then.... maybe I'll make a second char and see how things go!

I'd LOVE to do this for the MFF dance comp! However... Mangusu totally ROCKED it... and now I don't want to touch it! -cry-
But that's okay.... I've still got other plans in time for Midwest Furfest! Bringing it old school again, but bringin' a TOTALLY different style that hasn't been seen in awhile as far as I know at dance comps. Going to leave it as kind of a surprise... but I've told some people my plans.
On a side note... OW! >.< I slept on my shoulder wrong almost two weeks ago... and it STILL hurts! It aches kinda around where my collar bone connects to my shoulder. >.> As long as I sit still it doesn't bother me... but if I move my arm or lift something, it aches. >.> I don't think it's broken... but is it worth going to see a doctor ya think?

General | Posted 13 years agoYup! I now have an apartment with some friends of mine! Woohoo! Two bedroom place with kitchen, living room, and everything! It's awesome! There wasn't really anything else I wanted to say... just "Apartment Get"!

Mini-Rant
General | Posted 13 years agoThere are very few things that actually piss me off... but my main thing I hate is stupidity.
"I can forgive Ignorance, but I can't forgive Stupidity."
This statement best describes my feelings about this matter. If someone doesn't know any better and is simply ignorant about something, then I can forgive them. It's like putting a fork in an outlet because it fits without knowing about the electric current flowing through it. However, if someone DOES know better and still does something... that's just stupid and irks me to no end.
The main reason this comes up is a few of the people I hang out with are being particularly dumb about a lot of things. Or rather, I should say they're being very childish. One in particular yelled at me for putting my cup on the table because I was getting condensation on the table where their magic cards were. True... but they were also in protective sleeves which I'm 99% sure are indeed water proof aside from the small slit at the top. Oh, and I forgot to mention another person had their cup on the table before I put mine down... but they were okay. Only mine was "getting in the way" of things.
Another incident occurred when they were playing a game of Magic. Now, I thought these guys were my friends. I wouldn't dream of damaging their cards or anything, and also they have a habit of sometimes looking at the top card of their decks while playing friendly/casual games because who cares, right? They do it to each other sometimes as well. But no, as soon as I do it to this one guy he tells me off about not touching his cards. Soon after, when I'm not in the game being played he says I can't even LOOK at his cards or his hand... But anyone else is just fine!
A different guy is just a troll in general... he makes arguments, plays devil's advocate, and doesn't hold a solid argument. He just argues with flawed logic contrary to whatever you are saying and refuses to admit when he's wrong. This... This pisses me off more then the first guy! He has to know he's wrong... there are many proofs being thrown at him that he's wrong... but he still refuses to yield while throwing out flawed logical statements based on his flawed 'assumptions' that constantly change as the debate goes on. Hell, it's not even really a debate because he starts yelling pretty quickly to get you riled up as well, turning it soon into an argument that you just can't win. I've just learned to ignore this fucker whenever he tries to get me going so he can't get his jollies off on getting me into an argument with him that I clearly can't win. -_-
Anyway... long story short... I'm now in search of new local friends! =/ It's amazing how much people can change over a year... My room mate even who I tried to defend at first just... well... I don't know HOW the FUCK he does it! He got a girlfriend... and then dumped her because he "needed more time to study". Not even a week later he's dating a different girl, bringing her back to the room to stay the night, and using her basically to help him study since she has notes from the previous year of taking the classes he is now. A week or two later, she isn't seen around the dorm again and the two are broken up... and he's almost back to dating the first girl again! They are always hanging out and she's kind of doting on him even... I REALLY don't understand how the hell he does it?! >.< I mean really! How do all of the assholes get ALL the girls?! I try and treat the women right, but I can't find anyone.
Okay... so, not really a "Mini" rant at all.... but yeah. Glad to get that off my chest. Final's week pressure and everything is kinda getting to me. Two finals on Monday morning. Calc 2 at 8 am, and then Data Structures at 10:30 am. Group Project on Tuesday is due that we need to get finished that still has a long way to go. And then two papers are due on Thursday that I'm not worried about. Hopefully I can get my Data Structures final moved to Friday instead due to some technicalities I can use in my favor that the school uses. All of this, PLUS praying that I get this internship I'm after. I'm one of the last 10 candidates for one of the 5 positions. I find out as soon as Friday, but most likely sometime next week DURING finals week. So just one more thing to add onto a fox's stress levels.
Thanks for actually reading all of this... I'm done now. Time to kick back a bit and de-stress while I can before I kick into overdrive to get everything done in time!

! I didn't place in the dance comp, but I learned a lot and I'm eagerly looking forward to bringing it at MFF later this year! I've already got the song I want to do picked and I'm working on the dance style to match it! So... we'll see how this goes!
Anyway... Met SO many people there and made new friends! TOO many people to name! But as always, thank you to everyone! This is why I love cons so much! Make new friends, hang out with old ones, and just plain awesomeness!

Friday! I'm fucking terrified and excited because I've got an in building interview for a potential summer internship! Once I get back, I might kick back a few beers to relax... and then I'll probably try streaming around 6 PM or so Central time! So yeah.... got any questions or anything about League of Legends, come watch and ask away! =D Also, feel free to share with your friends in case they want to ask anything.
On a similar note, I'm looking for an artist to draw me a picture I can use to post when I'm going to be streaming League so people can find it easier without me having to post a journal all the time! If you know someone who does good League work or if you want to volunteer for the job, let me know! =3
Annnnd... Damn! Back to the daily grind I guess. Classes! Whooooo! Sleep time now so I can wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed tomorrow for classes!

And also, it seems that I hit the magical 15K mark.... sad no one got a screenshot of it.... but... I'll be doing the drawing as well for winner of the free kiriban picture tomorrow sometime during the stream as well!
Now... I COULD be mean and say you have to be there to win it.... >:3
But I wouldn't do that... Maybe for 20K though I'll run it that way! Mwahahaha! More viewers for my stream! =D

No Stream Tonight
General | Posted 13 years agoFox has a BIT too much on his plate tonight... Two assignments that apparently are already late that somehow got overlooked, and a Calc 2 test at 8 am in the morning mean tonight is going to be VERY busy!
Tomorrow on the other hand shows promise! =D We shall see... It all depends on weekend plans though. Time will tell because we're getting ever closer to FCN and I STILL need to finish my dance routing and make final preparations! So... here goes nothing! FCN Con-Prop GO!

LoL Streaming Done
General | Posted 13 years agoThanks to those who showed up and I hope those who did watch enjoyed the show! =D If anyone has any advice about how to make it more exciting, feel free to give tips or pointers on how to make things more exciting for you guys please let me know!
Also, for those who do show up to these streams, I DO check chat from time to time! So feel free to ask me stuff about what I'm doing. And for those who play, I'm MORE then willing to answer questions about various characters and strategies! =3 So... yeah! I'm going to TRY to stream again tomorrow at 6 PM central.... maybe make this a daily thing. We'll see. So... I'm going to try Livestream instead tomorrow. Does this make people more likely / less likely to come and watch?

15K Kiriban GO!
General | Posted 14 years agoOkay! So here's the deal... since I've had mixed success with kiribans in the past and drama about who wins due to posting what where... I'm going to change it up and try something new!
It's this simple...
1) Guess a Number between... oh.... say 1 - 1000!
I'd say 100 normally, but technically since I have over 700 watchers I should be fair to them all!
2) Wait until I hit the 15,000 mark
3) I will then use random.org or some other website to select a random number between 1 and 1000, and the person closest to said number wins! =D
Ready?...
GO!
PS. It's not the closest without going over.... it is just the closest to the number!
