So life update! Hi y'all long time no see. I know most of you won't read this but that's ok. Its been a crazy few years. The littlest one is now 3 and crazy active. The oldest is almost 12, nearly my height, and came out as a furry! I'm still a bit confuzzled over that because I did not see that one coming.
Dia and I are both working full time at the same store now which is great and sometimes annoying for us. We're currently working on buying parts to get him a new computer so he can get back into art and gaming.
I'm gonna try and get back into art. I had a bit of an idiot moment and allowed my heart to get broken badly (not Dia so don't worry there guys) and tried to be someone I wasn't. So fuck that noise. Thinking of running a sale on all of my adoptables, mostly to get rid of shit and to start saving back money so we can pay the $10k in hospital bills for having another surprise baby. Le sigh.
If I do, all of my chibis will be dropped to $3 bucks and all of my regular adopts will be $5 to $7. No refs or back views, those would cost another $1 to $3 depending on simple or more complex ref. Had another baby without knowing I was pregnant!
Once again I got into a serious situation with pain and my bp rising rapidly that I went to the ER. Turns out it was a good thing. I went into labor late Mon evening and was just a few days over 36weeks. At 340am  diaboso and I welcomed a 6lbs6ozs baby girl into the world. We had no idea nor plans to have anymore...lol now we have to scramble. No insurance either cause I just set it up at work...*facepalm* so yeah. I'm almost tempted to start a gofundme but those things just...ugh. I know the bill is gonna way overpriced. Oh well. Kids aren't cheap lol. But I'm just happy she's healthy, here and another surprise miracle.

I know I don't journal much, but this is a head's up for everyone that , our daughter, and I will be gone for the next four days roughly on a mini-vacation....in the middle of nowhere with no real cell service...aka no internet!*gasps* I know, the horror...the shock...the what are we gonna do to entertain an 8yrold who relies on technology, right? Especially those along the east coast of FL...please...if you live on any of the islands, you shouldn't be there as of now! Get out now or be prepared for a long long time with no help. My family knows the risks, and we left the state a decade ago because of this and other environmental factors affecting ym dad's health. This is one of those reasons. As a born and raised flamingo myself, I know. Hell I was a kid during Andrew and the No Name Storm of '93, so I do know what's it like. I grew up on an island with an hour drive to the rest of the state which is not something to take in lightly. If I'm not worried for the west coasters, y'all shouldn't be either. Matthew is ramping up but he's also not as scarily powerful as he was. My biggest concern with him now is if he pulls in Nicole and decides to head further north after going after FL. That's what has me watching....that and its like '05 for me again. Exciting to say the least. Hurricane hunting was my dream job as a kid so I studied hard to know all the mechanics of these bad boys. I ended up taking meteorology in college as a minor, so I'm not a dummy.

So hi guys, small recent issue update. I work produce for a big warehouse retailer and thurs morning I went in feeling meh but I thought it was just because of massive indigestion and other issues....WRONG...ALL WRONG

I seemed to have had an allergic reaction to a mix of chemical compounds...aka red dye strikes again! And boy oh boy did it get me....I puked twice at work. Once on myself and all over the floor of the restroom hallway. XD Needless to say my night shift manager was in the bathroom when I did that and came running when she heard me upchucking. The little red spots/hives all over my face and neck we're wonderful, plus the inability to eat for hours. I figured y'all might get a chuckle outta the whole thing as my new nickname from the night crew is....*drum roll* Ralfie. That and everyone kept asking if I was okay today when I was working. Its like..."if I wasn't here, you'd know...trust me." Minor mishap is amusing but gods I wanted to cry at the time. I hate losing control of myself like that. And throwing up like that really takes a toll outta a girl, I tell ya. Oh well. How is everyone??

He uses the term "herm" or " hermaphrodite" because A) its the easiest and most recognizable term for a creature who is not a human who has both working male and female parts; and B) because FA does not have the term "Intersex" available to use.

I know I don't talk much on here, nor do I mention my health. My loving hubs  diaboso has always been a wonderful rock, but in this I've been rather alone. I have an issue with higher testosterone and it has in the past caused me to not have a period for years at a time. I've been super stressed since last june because of the car situations and jobs, but now that things are leveling out, I'm having female issues. I just recently started taking Evening Primrose Oil and Black Cohosh to help relevel out my hormones. So far, with just the primrose alone I feel less off and less pissed about everything. The black cohosh has helped with my core temp causing me an inability to sleep. I'm trying to get my sleep schedule back on track and just trying to get enough sleep to help. Women need between 10-13hrs of sleep studies are now saying, while men need far less. Some people do not need much sleep but I've always been the "need at least 8hrs, anymore I'm off any less I can function but i hate it" kind of person. I just...ugh. XD

So.....how is everyone? I know I've been extremely quiet but with work (Both Dia n I) being so busy no matter how many times they tell us their getting more people....we're always busy. Plus I've been helping Alan restore his 87 camaro (i can't wait for it to be ready for paint!), I tend to not be home pretty much...at all. I do keep doing art but with the way things have gone in the past......I kind of just felt like I wasn't worth much. I know I can't draw like some people, but I can certainly mix and make things from bases like a champ. Just a teeny bit frustrating is all when I couldn't even give away freebies. Okay so I have a job working in a retail warehouse (we'll call it Bob's Place.) Now in Bob's, its always been at the discretion of the cashiers to transfer all items from one cart/flatbed to another. We mostly left the really heavy items (anything over 20lbs) in the carts/flatbeds cause I mean who wants to do that a hundred times a day or more, right? Well we just had to institute a new policy, Everything Must Be Transferred, and it has been met with a ton of complaints (from customers and employees.) But I have to say that this first week has been exceptionally outrageous.
The first day it started, I had a short morning shift.....BOY DID I MISS THE FIREWORKS. After I left, one of the older cashiers whose been there a few years damn near walked out because they told her she had to transfer four 45lbs cat litter buckets. Mind you in the cart its a bitch and a half to get them out, but to do so four times into a new cart and scan each one is a lot of work. So the HR person told mrs m to try and finish her shift then take the next day to think about it since it was her day off the next day anyway. Customers grumbled like fuck but were good natured about it. The next day I was off....one of the younger cashiers got fired......FIRED... because she wouldn't transfer items. Mind you she had a number of incidents and this just all added up to her being fired but yeah... The day after that, am elderly cashier quits (we wondered from the get go how long she'd last.) had a customer call me a bitch, one threw the big 24count of paper towels at one of my managers, we have had to return so many items because customers just walked away telling us to go to hell....it was crazy. Sat rolls around and we lose two cashiers in one day. One transfers to another dept within the store (I was supposed to go once we got enough cashiers to replace him and I both leaving to go to produce) and another gets fired. This one was worse because the cashier started cussing and going off on a customer for them cussing her out. Two days ago, we had a customer call one of our black casheirs a nigger (AND I WILL SAY THAT WORD FUCK THE PC SHIT)....she turns around and says, "Well this nigger has to do her job if she'd like to keep her job" all because we have to transfer the items. WE'RE TRASNFERRING THEM NOT YOU YOU ASSHAT CUSTOMER. Its like, "good gods, who slipped the crazy pills in the water?!?" I came in shortly after that incident too. I miss out on all the fun.....( Ĭ ^ Ĭ )
This has only been week one...........WEEK ONE PEOPLE. And I just saw today four new fresh baby faced cashiers all under the age of 21.....all female. We need two male cashiers I hate to say it to balance all the estrogen lol. And four cashiers ain't gonna help. To be optimal, we'd need at least eight new in total. Mind you i've had two people ask me about getting a job here and their all like "hells yeah i can lift 50lbs!" I'm just waiting for them to realize its every....single....item....every...time.....*evil smile*

I am appalled at the behavior of people faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar older than I am when it comes to treating us cashiers with respect. Bob's place is better than the average because starting pay is more than minimum wage. We are starting now at $10.50 an hour........that's fucking awesome in this day and age compared to the minimum of $8. We work hard to provide people with a clean, fast as we can, and good experience. Most of the cashiers (the good ones) are cheerful, personable, smile, make jokes, and try to engage the customer. There are bad apples in every bunch and they don't last long. Nor do the lazy attitude ones. One of the things that annoys customers and I understand, is us asking if they'd like to upgrade their membership or get our credit card. I get that its annoying, but just say "No thanks". We'll back off. The cashiers who don't though tend to get very angry complaints and this happens a lot. I make jokes, say "Sorry, its my job", discuss with them their needs because even I know sometimes people are on the fence. Its the ones who give an attitude about it or turn around and bitch us out that deserve to be slapped.

I have worked in a retail/sales evironment for over a decade now and the treatment of cashiers and attitude of the customers is just getting worse. The customers are becoming more entitled and whiny and privileged. This culture of "Its all about what I want even if its wrong and you have to give it to me" is what is driving many businesses into the ground trying to placate and make nicey nice with their customer base. Y'all should be ooooooh soooo happy I'm not a store owner. Because this is exactly how we would run it, You bitch about prices...good, go somewhere where someone gives a fuck. You don't like the service (as long as the person serving your needs did nothing wrong...) then umm I'm sorry...your a spoiled asshat. You want us to give you special privileges cause you had a hard time finding something/we didn't have what you wanted/you want it cooked with all these extras.....fuck off. You're not a princess, and even if you were, we'd still treat you like everyone else. You don't like the person serving your needs cause they looked at you funny?? OH WELL. Throw something in my store??? Your banned. FOR A YEAR. Make an extremely racist comment? Cops are being called cause that's harassment. And your banned for life. Don't like our rules? Tough shit princess, suck it up or go elsewhere cause your whining ain't making us wanna serve you anyway. Trust me, my entire family works in the service/retail industry and WE ALL feel this way. My hubs works for Bob's Place brother Store Blartmart. And we could tell some stories about the way people act. I was a restaurant manager for 2yrs.....those customers weren't even this bad. Co-workers came close (one anyway) but its like "Damn son....who spiked you juice with rhoids or pcp???"
If things continue the way they are, there won't be ANYONE who wants to work in a retail store because of the way people act. I think if everyone had to work one year (say senior yr of high school) in the retail/service industry, a lot less whining and general nastiness would just stop. Because then everyone would understand just how hard it is to smile all day and work for a wage that in many cases doesn't meet the needs for survival.

honestly i hate cars (but love them too). My TCS and ABS lights both just came on and stayed on as we left BK (which is 2 minutes from my house...T_T). I haven't felt any changes whatsoever and the tcs doesn't have an indicator light on the damn little button for me to know if its on or off.....arrrrrrgh. Mom says brakes could just be wet and hubs never notices anything if its having issues or not (except for the squeak when idle and the damn clanking from spare tire housing being loose in the trunk.) So there was supposed to be a reptile event at petco today and we decided to take lala to it and get her new betta fish. Petco had no clue they were even supposed to do one. Only one poor girl showed up with her chamelon dressed as a chevalier pirate (cutest chamelon though ever) and they didn't even offer to let kids touch or handle the snakes cause heaven forbid they have to do actual work. But we got a new betta (its a double tail dark electric blue with bright red splats on it) whose name is of all things, Splat. Then hubs calls me on his break. He got gas fine but he can't use his debit card because its we're now negative. So yeah....my day is just done. I'm in tears just sitting here trying to figure a way out of things. I'm trying so hard here but its like my life has just gone down further and further.

I sold one pumpkin and that thrilled the hell out of me (thank you so much to you rock hun!), but I couldn't even give away a freebie before that. I'm not gult tripping you guys or anything, just saying that it sucks when I'm trying so hard here. I hate this. I hate that I try my hardest and life shits on me worse when I try my hardest then when I just try and kinda do it.
