Commissions to get home!
General | Posted 12 years agoI've been taking commissions on Wolfhome and Lupinar to raise money to get myself and SeaSenshi back home to Pennsylvania @_@ So far we're about halfway to our goal!
I'm considering taking commissions on here for simple-ish character portraits (by that I mean portraits with solid backgrounds because I can't draw backgrounds to save my life) like Echelon's Faery and Jade Sit (in my gallery), but I'm not sure how many people would bite. Depending on the response I get to this, we'll see if I decide to open up commissions on here!

General | Posted 12 years agoGot Photoshop CS4 back finally! I've been using a version of CS6 Portable that someone put on my laptop for me when they reformatted it, and I hated it. I actually know how to use CS4 though so HOPEFULLY we are back in business!
Something, I don't know, clicked in my head the other day when I was doing those head sketches, and the anatomy of the face, head, etc just all suddenly made sense. I understood placement in a way that I had never been able to before. I'm so beyond happy with that, because I've been so frustrated with my art for so long, and finally it seems something good is happening and I'll be able to go somewhere with it.
Now on to study legs and paws and such. :x I might be taking requests here for really quick simple sketches (free of course) to get some practice on figure studies.

For those of you who were more aware of my situation, Kina and I are no longer together. We haven't been since Christmas.
I now live in Idaho, clear across the country, and am starting to piece my life back together, both in a concrete sense, as well as mentally and emotionally.
I'm going to be taking commissions really soon here. I really need some extra money, and I figure, what better way to do it? :D
I'll be submitting more recent art here soon. I just haven't had time to keep up with these art sites, but I promise, I'll be around more from now on.
