So I've been giving some serious thought lately into re-branding under a new name. i think "KidKaz" has run its course. It actually have some background negativity associated with it for me from way back.

I'm considering "StarbornHussy" as my new online identity. FA is probably the one thing keeping me from having done it already, considering the number of submissions I have here as well as watchers/followers. But I feel like the list in unfairly inflated with inactive/bot accounts, so I really don't know what to do with it.

About seven years ago, I killed my deviant art account after they deleted a bunch of my art and temp banned me. I always thought it was silly that a site calling itself "deviant art" doesn't allow porn.

But unfortunately, while FA and others have been good to me all these years, I have not and will probably never be much of a furry artist (Sorry guys!). I feel like I've been missing out on some good art and artists by not having a presence on dA all this time.

So I'll post my non-pornographic stuff on dA and those people who are interested in the porn can find it elsewhere. (here, weasyl, tumblr, etc.)

I've asked this question before, but it's something I'm legitimately interested in.

I'd like to stream art and maybe video games. What would be the best site for doing so? And are there any good tutorials out there on how to set it up and what programs to use and such? I wanna know!

I got my hands on Pokemon Y, finally. Fanarts inbound... eventually. Between that, work, and Skyrim on the PC, I'm not doing much art right now.

If I were to start streaming art/video games on occasion, would there be any interest in it at all? I feel so out of touch with everyone these days, like a ghost town in here... D:

Also, is there an easy to understand tutorial anywhere about how to set up a stream and make it pretty and such, I kinda suck with those things...

So my girlfriend and I got approved for an apartment! We move out on the 17th, and I can't wait to get away from her crazy family and have the space and quiet that we need. I also got my drivers licence so that I can actually go places now.

Also, after wanting one for years, I got a new computer yesterday, and It's a beast; 2 TB of memory and 12 GB of ram. I replaced the power supply and graphics card and now it's on its way to being everything I wanted and more. Exciting!

I also got a promotion of sorts at my job and now I work full time and make a lot more money, but have less free time then I used to. But it's okay, I've got some serious stamina. Art is still very important to me and I will make time for it when I can. Dunno if there will be a Christmas pic this year or not, but if not, I'll make up for it later. :D

About a month or so ago, my laptop's inverter board (the component that runs power to the screen's backlight) gave out. I replaced it with a new one and it worked fine... For about a week. Then something else happened and I finally decided that I had had enough of it and that it was time to buy a new one.

But I has no monies! ...yet.

It's gonna take some time, but I'm saving up for a new one. It'll probably be a few months.

And I'm not asking for donations or anything like that. This isn't THAT kind of journal.

In the meantime, I'm sharing my girlfriend's computer. It's pretty nice, and has a 24" screen, which is kind of awkward to draw on with my tiny tablet, but it works!

And a question for you tech savy peeps out there, reccomend me a good laptop in the $600-$800 range, I need ideas!

...what the hell?

back in '08, when I graduated from High school, I was immature, slightly overweight, and completely unsure about what I should do with my life. Fast forward to now, nearly 4 years later, and I am incredibly immature, slightly overweight, and completely unsure about what to do with myself.

I'm a rather negative person. I have problems listening to and understanding other people, I swear a lot (and this irks me so much. But I can't help it...), and I have a ridiculously tenuous relationship with some people that keeps my emotional state in an unstable and unhealthy flux that is sickening to me.

I've never responded well to change. As an OCD-ridden creature of habit and routine, any slight tip in a different direction destabilizes me in a wildly dramatic fashion. I'm grumpy, I don't eat well, I don't sleep, I spend long periods of time spacing out while on my feet.

And people, I'm sure, have noticed.

I'm falling back into the way I acted back in the days when I was frequently bullied by people online and offline. I'm in such a fragile emotional state that even the slightest strike to my ego will send me into depression and anxiety. I don't like being like this, it alienated all the people I care about and fuels the flames of my negativity.

And "I'm sorry" isn't enough to mend relationships when I loose my temper.

So, with all that is happening to me right now, I vow to be a better person again. There are things that I have to do to make this happen and I know what they are. It's just such a challenge for me to stick to principle most of the time, like a wayward New Year's resolution. But sometimes just trying is enough.

Negativity be damned.
