To keep a reasonable amount of work on my plate, I restricted the number of slots for coloured and uncoloured pieces. As I finish other owed art, I will open more slots. Right now, only the Black and White versions are available - so you get to colour it yourself like a fun colouring book or collaboration, or keep it as-is!

And I'm designing a multiple-slot YCH piece. It's different from the auctions in that anyone and everyone can purchase a slot and have their character inserted into the piece, so even though there's only one position you can get multiple character pieces.

This way, I can be able to keep up with my car insurance while I work on my other to-dos. I almost lost my insurance this month and it looks like it's going to happen again. And, also this way, it's cheaper than buying an individual commission since the background is already done.

If you write, draw, read, or watch, you probably have an original character or a fan character. We will draw them for you.

Specify the character and the situation, and we’ll make a simple 500x500 piece for you. Reaction images, selfies, memes, sequence pieces (if you get more than one), icons/bust sketches, NSFW or fetish, whatever. I was getting groceries from the dollar store, since they have a pretty good selection of things. You can eat cheap that way. We don’t have the money to get healthier things generally because then you’re jumping from $0.50-1.00 a meal to $7, but the dollar store sells frozen veggies so it’s okay for now.

While I was checking out, I was making sure that my count would come to under $40 because that’s all the cash we’d saved up for food. Maybe the guy heard me, or maybe he saw me fretting, but he said that when he walked out to the parking lot, something told him to go back in. This guy came back in the store and paid for my groceries.

I was trying so hard not to cry right there. He reassured me it was fine, that the Lord told him to do it and told me to remember this and pass it on. I used to be in a position to help people the way he did and I did a lot, but now I’m the one who needs it.

He couldn’t have known that. He couldn’t have known that I’m unemployed and broke. There’s no way he knew that I lost my last job to a worsening chronic illness, or that new potential employers get weird when I mention GEY. Something told him to come back and help me specifically, at the right time for me to be there.

If he hadn’t done that, I’d have had to fuck around with multiple cards and get charged extra for using them too many times in a month. Like this guy literally just helped us eat for the week, out of nowhere, and he didn’t have to do it, and he didn’t expect anything or take anything.

I say “whatever spirit” in the title because I’ve met quite a few all over the spectrum, some good, some bad. One helped me and another kid get unlost from a forest once, for example, using our names. So from my perspective I have no idea if the Actual Lord Almighty talked to this guy to help me (which makes me wonder why I’m the one getting help and not someone worse off) or if it was one of those random helpful spirits giving him the urge.

I just. Dude. I didn’t even get his name or anything. I was shocked and I just went on blank autopilot like ‘oh my god’ and really quiet. I thanked him. I didn’t know what to say. He called me ma’am but that can slide in this case.

I'm between to-do list pieces right now and will continue streaming after supper. If I can finish another auction piece tonight, I'm going to open a new auction.

Gonna be putting up a 'need rent money' auction but with the condition that it'll probably take 2+ weeks to get to. I have owed commissions and auctions to finish first, but keeping a roof over my head is a big deal and I can't do art if I'm homeless p much. monsterpeanut and niastrawberryrush have expressed offers to do free simple art sketches or busts for anyone who commissions GC or me over $15. They are also doing commissions of their own and you should look into that. Buy something from all of us. Roll in art. Etch your claim to existence by creating relics that will talk of you and your stories for ages to come. Buy immortality for the price of a gas refill.
