Free Commission! One week left to go!

So this has been in the works in my head for some time...

Fursquared was my debut con for my very first Fursuit and as such I wanted to do something special. I was in my fursuit for a large portion of the convention, and obviously couldn't take any pictures of myself. But I know quite a few people ended up taking photos yet I can't seem to find that many. <sad doge>

So hence I'll start a friendly competition:

Rules:
1. You have to be a follower of my FA.

2. Each person that posts on this journal and uses the word science in a creative way gets one and only one freebie point.

3. I will start giving points for EVERY unique picture (on any site I can access!) of my fursuit ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15570736/ ) from fursquared you guys/gals post here before I can fave them or they are posted here!

4. I will continue looking for photos of myself and favoriting them if I find them first or someone else did already then no points for the find. Sorry...

5. I will close the competition on 3/14/15 at 9p Central time. Then I'll tally up everything (probably using excel because I am a nerd) and use those points to find a winner! (using a random number generator)

Prize:
I will knit commemorative scarfs for the occasion that I'll let the winner help me design. I'll knit two of them as a pair and send you one free of charge! This means we will have two unique and commemorative pieces of functional art. :3 (I use very high quality wool for the scarfs and they take forever to make so this is borderline insane....) I won't suspect them being completed in time to be used this winter. (My hope is to have them complete sometime this summer)

Extras:
If a neat unique wool scarf seems silly to the winner (due to climate or wool allergy something) We can work out an arrangement for something that maybe worthwhile to them. I'll even be willing to contribute to a commissioned shared piece of artwork, because I am crazy like that.

If I get a ton of involvement, I'll see if I can spice it up and give out more than one prize.... so find some friends too! ufda

1. Who is your boyfriend/girlfriend?
Katie and she married me too! (sucker lol)

2. How did you two meet?
Met at school in 2004 or so (Fun fact:she thought I was the uni-bomber due to a very large beard I sported at the time)

3. When did y'all officially start dating?
November 22nd 2006 ( how I remember this is beyond me... must have been important lol)

4. Did you meet online?
Real Life, if you can call college that.

5. What attracted you the most to her?
She has a beautiful brain! That is so much different from mine its crazy. :3

6. Was she what you expected?
Nope she was so much more.

7. Did you kiss her on your first date?

8. When did you first have sex?
hmm about a year and a half into dating... I am not a very sexual person.

9. Do you live with her?
Yep! Had to con her into moving to this "cold hell-hole of a state" (she doesn't like winter can you tell?)

Yes, I am too.

Told me how hot my old jeans make my ass look... I think she might need new glasses (don't tell her haha) :3

dating for 5 years and then have been married for four years so far

When I look behind me... yep she is still there.

Jan 8th My Birthday...?

Hey I am turning into an old man coming Jan 8th. Big ole 28. Surprising where I am at this time in my life haha.

Although I do love to celebrate as much as or more than I enjoy consuming food or coffee, I just wanted to tell everyone here that gifts are not necessary. All that I really want is yet another year with all my fuzzies. ^_^ If you show up at the Holiday party come wave hi, tell me a story, or give a hug! IDK I'll just be happy to see you. ^_^

Became "the boss"

2: Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Done and yes

Meh distant friends and relatives only.

There was that one guy... but he had it coming... JK Nope!

5: What countries did you visit?
No other country visits this year.

6: What would you like to have in 2015 that you lacked in 2014?
A fursuit.... it is coming ^_^

7: What dates from 2014 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 2014 my wife graduated from graduate school and returned home.
May 30th Said goodbye to my '96 Dodge neon and got a '14 Fiesta ST
9/12-14: Furry Migration RP Furmented Voted #1 official room party of the con! ... well there were no votes involved I sorta just elected us to victory...

8: What was your biggest achievement of the year?

hot tub... only to have him move it back the next week #futileEfforts JK
I got promoted at work to be "the boss" and actually am doing a good job at it.

9: What was your biggest failure?
Setting the wrong limits and boundaries for some of my relationships, I feel like I pushed some people away I didn't intend to.

10: Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing major.

11: What was the best thing you bought?
Fiesta ST or my New fursuit coming in soon, Strangely they are likely tied in my head.

12: Whose behavior merited celebration?
My wife for understanding that I am a derpy doge, but I am worth having around for cuddles.

Myself... Have you even met me? Grossssss!

Apt Rent :( not very interesting is it... lol

My Car, haven't gotten my fursuit yet!

Happier and wider (going to have to wear the wide load sign soon....)

Social gatherings with close friends

worry about unimportant things

20: How did you spend Christmas?
At in laws shooting guns in Detroit (Don't worry this is not related to #4 and we were at a gun range I swear....) and generally watching my father-in-law proving to himself he is a badass. He is a funny and cool guy.

21: Did you fall in love in 2014?
About the same... just drowning in it. Its hard to swim it is very sappy and kinda tugs on your heart a bit.

22: What was your favorite TV program?
Orphan Black for some reason...

23: Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate is too much work.

24: What was the best book you read?
Gosh reading too many non-fun books for work I don't immediately recall my favorite "fun book"

25: What was your greatest musical discovery?
Finding Frindle's art stream and accompanying music collection on spotify.

26: What did you want and get?
New car and my wife back home from Graduate school.

New lappy, Just can't purchase one until I feel the old one won't work for what I need it to do.

28: What was your favorite film of this year?
Guardians was honestly about the only new movie I saw in 2014 that I liked alot.

29: What one thing made your year?
Getting my wife back, getting promoted, getting my new car, and commissioning my first fursuit.

30: How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2014?
Be F-ing adorable, and don't feel guilty about it. I hope to go down this path soon.

31: What kept you sane?
who wants to be sane? I hang with all the crazy furs. Easier to look sane by example than be sane.... because it's too much work.

33: What political issue stirred you the most?
Ferguson was messed up, also the whole craziness around Biological disasters was interesting.

34: Who did you miss?
Certain wolf and horse I was getting closer to that seemed to have disappeared from Earth. DX

35: Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2014.
Combining Sushi with friends at least once a month has made me a far happier person this year than last.

Sure I'll likely find myself witnessing quite a few.

Don't have one.... yet

Used too but lost the little tiny mote of talent long ago.

Well my talent list that you most would want a commission from is quite small... trades? Considering it'd have to draw from the same small list, you'll probably walk away disappointed.

Sometimes I try to be nice but usually it comes quite natural to me. I have been called a "big ball of care" if that is an indication.
