Posted 15 years agoSo, at SoCal's monthly PS gathering last night, some guy who I do not know at all thought it would be nice to greet me in his traditional way. Which was groping my ass.
And not just a quick squeeze. Oh no, he gave both cheeks a good feeling up.
Seriously, what the fuck. This is why furries are made fun of. Because a disturbingly large number of you seem to think sexual assault is an appropriate way to greet a complete stranger.
That said, I'm gonna let it go. It's a funny story, and the guy did compliment my ass, so eh, worse things have happened. And I made sure he knew I didn't appreciate it.

But! He left his pillow, which in addition to being extra fluffy, kind of smells like him, so it serves as a nice reminder or something. Actually, I'm not sure if it helps or just makes me miss him more.
Anyway, it was good to see some people I haven't seen for a long time, and to meet some new people (like the one who drew Kilgore for free randomly in the Creator's Lounge, who's FA page escapes me at the moment). That hotel had a really confusing layout, though.

Where the Wild Things Are
Posted 16 years agoWow. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Seriously, I think it was just perfect, the music, the production design, everything. And I think it was a remarkably good adaptation of a 10 sentence picture book. Words sort of escape me, so just do yourself a favor and go see it.
