Oh man, another busy semester over o:. I'm glad that I'll get to celebrate its final week by visiting my love,  orphy tomorrow for the night ^^ <3. And then, after Wednesday night, I have about 5-6 weeks off c:

I wish to spend them wisely by doing more creative work. I know if I don't, alot of my days will be spent laying around, bored as hell, depressed as all hell, etc. I'll still be working around 30 or so hours a week at my job, and will be doing band practices 3 days a week, but for Tuesdays, Wednesday nights, and Thursdays, I wish to spend them doing as much creative work as possible. I really plan to get my requests done before next semester starts, so they are finally DONE. Plus I know that once the next semester starts, I won't get to do them until possibly summer break, depending on how many hours I work a week and all >.>.

Once the requests are done, I may not be able to take any more, but if you really wish to have one done, just let me know and I'll get to it as soon as I can. I know I've been a bad musician by holding off the ones that were made so long ago - I'm so sorry, guys :c. Even if you keep telling me that you can wait, it's still wrong for me to not do them.

And one last note - for Christmas, I'm going to be getting some new recording equipment o:! It will be an interface starter kit that comes with software, headphones, and a microphone ^^. I hope this will be a good upgrade to my Tascam that I've been using for 3 years now >w<. If not, then oh well - at least it'll be easier to use :P. I hope >w>.

So, update and what not for all of those who care :P.

Today I told my mom about  orphy and I, since I've hidden it from her since we started dating. She was okay with it, and just made sure he was an okay guy (and of course he is! :3). She did joke about how one day I may find "a nice girl" (I think it was a joke >.>), and I jokingly told her to "shut up" in response xP. I just hope I don't have to find a "nice girl" one day, cause I already found one. Well, a girly man :P. Kinda girly, at least. <3

I also told a couple RL friends who were unaware of the relationship (though I did mention I was taken before; they didn't get the reference), and they accepted it too. One of them I thought was a homophobe too xD. I'm glad they accepted it though :3. My band mates already knew, and my furfriends, on the other hand :P.

ANYWAYS, in other news - I got a busy schedule, involving work, school, the band, and even something of a side project involving the two friends above, since one day one of them decided to call me to hang out (we hadn't talked in a while), and I invited him over to a band practice, and it's been taking off from there :3.

THIS (^) means that doing my own solo project (ESPECIALLY THE REQUESTS I HAVEN'T FINISHED YET ;A;) has been something of a no-go lately. I want to start off with this again, but I will be doing absolutely no new songs until ALL of the requests are finished. I will only have time on Mondays to do it, excluding this Tuesday where I don't have school (due to Veteran's Day back here in the States), and even on those days I have homework and chores to do too, and possibly some errands :c. So I will try to do that in a turtle-ish pace, since I know the requestees have been waiting for so long and I'm losing contact with them :c. I''ve decided that I want to do any parts I allowed other furs to do to speed up the process, and out of the three I authorized, one has allowed it. That means that I can record bass for Dehumanized, the request for a friend who has quit FA recently. The other parts will have to wait, as in keyboards for that song and drums for "Denver the Last Dinosaur" for  unnameddragon. The rest I'll get to work on when I get the chance.

Other than that, life has been good so far, and I'm taking in each day as I can ^^. I hope everyone else does the same, and if not, then they find their well-deserved peace of mind soon c:.

I finally decided to rejoin SoFurry (I made an account a couple years ago but never used it :P; now I can't re-access it D:) and join Weasyl, because I feel like FurAffinity is getting kind of boring now. Don't worry, I'm not leaving FA :P, but I want to try to branch out and meet new furs who are only using these sites. I just hope I stick to my goal >w>, but I think I will.

So this semester seems to have two classes that demand alot of work, and two that demand very little work >w>. So I'll be busier than usual, but I'll find time for myself still, and to stay in touch with everyone else =3.

I'm also playing bass in my band now since our old bassist left, and we have no other alternatives besides one of us converting, so I just went with it xP. Hopefully that goes well =O.

LAST UPDATED - 9/10/14

In case anyone is wondering what's happening in the world of me, here's my typical weekly schedule:

(All times are based on Eastern Stsndard Time.)
(I normally stay up until 11-12 am.)

SUNDAY - I work 10 am - 6 pm. After work I have band practice.

MONDAY - One of two only "free" days, though I currently work 3 - 7 pm and then have band practice.

TUESDAY - School the whole day; 3 consecutive classes from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm

WEDNESDAY - Work 9 am - 3 pm, then school 6 - 9 pm. I'll have some time to talk shortly after work, but I'll be leaving for school around 4.

THURSDAY - School the whole day again; 1 class from 10:30 to 11:45 am, then another from 3 - 5 pm. During the break I will be doing homework and will take a break most likely to call my mate.

FRIDAY - I work 11 am - 7 pm. Afterwards I have band practice.

SATURDAY - I work 9 am - 5 pm, and I may have band practice on this day too. Our guitarist can only do it on this day every other week.

Hey guys, just figured I'd keep you updated!

So, the semester is almost over for me. I have my English final next Tuesday, a music project to finish, and Math homework to complete before Wednesday. After that, I'm all done until the fall~! ^-^

So, this summer I hope to get things going with my band and my virtual band, with the latter being planned to include:

My mate,  orphy as the lead singer
 varanisridari on bass and vocals
 rykenaaelgrin on keys and vocals
 slacov on drums (and vocals too, I think >w>)

So far the status on that is pending, but my irl band is pretty solid now, with my old music partner and I finally having a third guy and new friend on bass and possible vocals :3. Our status on a drummer is currently unknown right now; we may just stick as a three piece until we can find someone who can join us.

Also, for my solo stuff - I'm gonna buckle down to the furthest extent. I really need to get the requests done, which I hope to bang out pretty soon.  slacov sent me the drum track for "Dehumanized" a couple weeks ago, but because of school and all, I haven't been able to work on it yet >w>. I was hoping to include the friends listed above to be on the track, but so far I haven't heard anything from them about it yet, so I may just play the rest of the instruments on that one.

I don't plan to work as much as I have the last few summers with my old job, but I may start taking lessons to go for a Class C or higher license, so that way I can maybe get a job as a trucker next summer, and keep a job like that for after I graduate college. I don't want to be in minimum wage when I get out xP, and I would want a job that pays alot in case I decide that I want to start my own recording studio after college :3.

But yeah, that's what's going on right now. Ups and downs have also occured as usual, but in the end, I'm still my happy self ^w^.

So, I got a second job at a local market that my sis has been working at for like 5 years now, and my dad's been doing business with for probably much longer. I work in produce, and it's a pretty easy job that's like my other job. All I have to do for both of them is stock and make sure my area's clean before I leave :P. At this new job I work on days I go to school during the afternoons, so I go to school in the morning/early afternoon and work from later afternoon to early evening. Not too bad, and with the hours I have at both jobs, I'll be making around $170 a week, as opposed to before when it was just $60 a week :P.

At this new job I can't use my phone, and I may squeeze band practice times during the days I work, so if I'm not online for most of the day on some days, just realize it's because I'm even more busy now. I will still try to use my spare time for talking to friends and whatnot, and hopefully soon I get my requests done. I got  slacov to volunteer playing the drum parts for at least the covers, so that way I can get started with them and give him a credit as well, you know? X3

So, last Friday my music partner and I did a basement show in my basement for free to 12 people x3, and we had a good time! :3 We had one of his friends do a rap skit with his team, and they were pretty phenomenal :D! They don't rap like mainstream rappers nowadays do, but they include spiritualism and religion in their lyrics, but keep up with an urban feel as well :P.

But more exciting is that him and I got a paid gig in Boston this Saturday :D! We'll be doing a 4 hour set from 9 PM to 1 AM, and we'll be getting a paycheck of $250 from it :3. I'll be using most of the money towards a used keyboard I found today at Guitar Center, and with a little help from my mama, will be putting a down payment towards it so I can get it next week or so :3.

So yeah, I've been really busy the last few days xwx, but it's all worth it for what I want to do in life ^^.

So, I asked a buddy of mine,  slacov, about the icons he's made before, and if I could get one with  orphy and I - not only because we're mates, but because we've both had the same icon for a really long time x3. He was happy to say that he could make a couple for me, and just tonight I was able to send them to my fuzzy butt :P.

And we both like them ^^ <3

So, as you may have saw on my front page recently,  orphy and I are now in a relationship. This is something we've thought about since last autumn, but never got to because at the time, we both got out of relationships that were still affecting us. Then, he got too busy to be online often, and since he has minutes :I, I can't text him too much, so he was away for a while. But I'm sure now he'll be around more often ^^ <3.

Anyways, why I made a journal on this is because there's a decision I made that will affect my relationships with many people.

Knowing how bad my jealousy can get (experiencing it in my last relationship, which was open, and due to that reason had to end :c), despite how much of a free spirit I may be, I can't let it get to this relationship. So, I need to keep it closed for that reason. I hope you all can understand, because it's a decision I've been mostly told is right, but was lashed at by a couple people I held close too, one of whom I'm probably gonna end up losing...

Basically, I just wanna keep any RP's strictly to hugs, cuddles, and kisses on the cheek are ok every now and then. No more yiffing, romance, etc. please. I wanna keep that soley for my mate now. I know that when I was single and in my last relationship I was able to love everyone freely, but now that I found someone I really hold close to, I wanna save it all for him. Besides, I honestly don't even want to keep friends only to RP with them. I just wanna talk to you all~.

So, a friend of mine and I have been working on a demo for the last couple months, and we finished it last week! :3 Currently we are waiting for our photos from our photoshoot to be developed (the woman who did it for us has been busy this week, so they won't be finished until later this weekend), and then we just need a cover and back for it (I think I have an idea :3). All the songs will be on my ReverbNation ONLY! (as you may see, him and I are currently sharing it :P). There will be one free song and 6 songs that are $.50 a piece, making the whole demo $3. Otherwise, it's been back to school, trying to manage my money, trying to keep up with a scheduled routine, promoting this demo to nearby bars (already hit some in Boston, even the Hard Rock Cafe :3), and all that jazz :P. Being a busy draggy lately! X3

So, today's an amazing day, because not only is my new car coming today, but I got a new job at a local liquor store! ^.=.^ My best friend and music partner also works there, and has been since last July, so now I have my other best friend working with me :3 (at my old job, I got my other best friend to work there a year after I started x3 he's still there unfortunately :P).

Also, this same friend I'm working with now and I are almost done with our demo, so we will be releasing it within a few weeks on my ReverbNation for a cheap price - $4 for 8 songs that have full-band setups :3. One of them is a remake of one of my old tracks too, so if you want to listen to it, just stay tuned, because when it's released, I'll make a journal to let everyone on FA know :3.

As for me, I got a 7 string electric guitar ^^

So earlier today, I got into a fender bender (nobody got hurt, luckily), and I ended up making a mistake after it happened .-.

So, I stopped with the traffic, and the guy behind me didn't stop in time, causing me to get hit, and I slid ino another woman's car (since it just snowed out yesterday). I got the info from the guy who hit me, but the woman I hit said she and her car were fine, so she left without giving any info, and I never called the cops to investigate the scene.

And my family got upset at me because they say that now my insurance won't cover the front end damage, since the lady never released any info and because I failed to have authorites come by .-.

I feel like I screwed up big time D:

Well, since I became a teenager, I had a thing for dragons, and after I joined the fandom, I decided to base my sona on a dragon that was considerably wise and talented, so I decided to go with an Eastern Dragon. I got the colors from people who were drawing out my character while it was still in the making xP

4. If you could choose between living out life as your fursona/OC, but giving up every ascept of your real life (that is, no more Skype friends, no more familly: you're in the world your fursona/OC is in), would you do it?

No, because the world I live in now is satiable to me. I mean, it's not perfect, and there's plenty of times where I just don't care anymore, but I've developed such good relationships with several people, that I wouldn't want to trade it for the world.

So, there's no official mentioning of repeated thumbnails being spam under this new policy, so to play it safe, I'm going to use a bunch of related images for each song/poem I've posted so far, like I did when I first started uploading my songs on here, so I don't get in trouble :U. It does say that it's only in effect for any submissions made today after 6 pm EST, but hey, change is good :P.

As for the policy itself, I like it already. Whenever I scroll my messages for any new journals or submissions, half of them are usually about opening commissions or commission info and all that jazz, which is irritating to see :\. I also don't oppose it that much because I never journal about commission info (though I do for requests, I don't believe that really counts, I suppose) or post submissions for auctions or YCH's (since I almost never draw XD). But hey, to each their own.

I wanna thank all of my friends who are still with me today ^w^. I'm so happy to have you all, each and every one of you :3, and without you guys, I wouldn't be happy right now >w<.

I know I'm not perfect - pretty damn well xD - but I do know that I try my best to make everyone happy, so long as they can do the same for me x3. I always thought, when I first joined the fandom, that I'd lose everyone I met eventually, and yeah, I've lost alot of people that I befriended, but I've come to realize that even if they're no longer my friends, that all I can do is wish the best for everyone, since there's no point at being mad at anyone, really. It doesn't make anything better, especially for yourself - it hurts you the most. I've also realized that alot of the people I lost, either left because they themselves were too distraught, or because we didn't really talk alot :I. It happens with some people, and it's honestly not a bad thing to lose someone. Sometimes, it's necessary, since it makes you realize what their purpose was in your life, whether it be for better or for worse.

I won't mention names of who's who, since you should know who you are x3. Do understand that I believe everyone has a purpose for entering my life, so if you don't feel like you were too included in it, just remember that I at least believe that your purpose was vital for me, if that makes you feel better, I suppose ^^;. But I do love you all, regardless of who you are (or were) :3 <3.

Yeah, I've been hit with stuff to do for my midterms (English paper, Music Business paper, Math homework...) not to mention work and laziness :I. But, I do have an agenda for my arts! (musical arts! :P)

Streams will probably be done in the afternoon and night, but I'll limit it to one stream each day I do it, but it all depends on my agenda for the day (I have a life outside the fandom, you know :P)

So, two years ago,  athus passed away, and looking back from the time of his death to now, I see so much change in me.

Around the time he died, I was very, very shy, depressed and lonely. I had been interested in the fandom for several months previous, but had too much gall to bother :I. I just lurked on, allowing myself to deny being involved, and then someone I felt a connection to just suddenly dies. I know it's still weird for me to say this, since I never knew him personally, but alot of me died inside, like I had no more hope ._. I felt like someone who could have been close to me, if I tried to talk to them, was forever gone.

Since then, I've transformed so much. I ended up joining the fandom a couple months later (though it says I signed up on November 2011, I didn't start using FA until around Christmas time of that year). From there, I made so many friends, with some of them being really close to me, and others that just decided to leave me. I opened up in real life too - I got my first girlfriend ever the following month (who lasted 6 months); I became friends with one of my now best irl friends; I started performing music to people at shows and open mics, either with my other best friend (I met him and befriended him before Athus's death) or my band (which included him, too - we're inseparable xD). Man, looking back, time flies >w<.

But anyways, this isn't about me - this is about the dragon who's life had to end so soon and sudden.

For all those who read this that knew him in some way - slight acquaintance, buddy, close friend, etc. - I just would like to say that I'm sorry that such a good soul was taken away so abruptly and viciously. I know that moving on is not an easy process (though I wouldn't know as well as anyone else who lost a friend before, since I never really had :I (though  ponybird and I talked for a bit before he passed)), please remember that he is soaring in a better place now, somewhere where the corruption of Earth and mankind don't exist, and if he could talk to you, I know that he would say that he misses you too. Also remember that life is not something that happens forever, so the separation won't last forever either - there will be a day where you two meet again. Just live for now and be happy, since it would make him happy.
