If you haven't noticed, I have started writing a series of journal entries surrounding my Civil War reenacting persona Jefferson D. Bussey. I plan on following his journey from when he first joins the 72nd New York Volunteer Infantry in the Union Army in 1862 until the end of the war in 1865. Many of the stories and "scenes" written in these entries are based off of my own experiences reenacting around camp with my regiment and on the battlefield. Many of the feelings and expressions are my own however I have changed a few things to keep historical accuracy.

This is an experiment of sorts. Since I am still without a laptop and therefore can't draw, I am looking into writing this series of historical fiction short stories from my phone. I appreciate any feedback that can help me with my writing skills. I hope you enjoy this expirament of mine.

Hey watchers and furs, been a while. Just letting you know what's up and how things have been. I've been saving up for a new laptop since mine is deciding when and if it wants to turn on. Still trying to sell my car.

I found what I thought was going to be a decent job, however I was hired as an independent contractor for a month and a half until I tried to find out why I wasn getting a paycheck, so I called up HR an asked where it was and apparently my supervisor never sent my tax forms, and employee packet to the company he works for. I quit once I realized this and now I'm fighting for 2,500$ that I'm owed, but my supervisor has gone off the map so until they find him I won't get anything.

So until this blows over I'm going to remain on a "hiatus" so that means no more art unless I find a friend who will let me borrow their laptop for a day or two or until I can buy a new laptop. I'm still sticking with civil war genre pics since reenacting is still a big part of my life right now.

How are things with all of you?

Hey furs, I am selling my 1986 Fiero Sport. She has 181,000 miles, a 5 speed manual gets 28-30 mpg highway, and has new clutch cylinders, new alternator, new battery, new belts, and new starter. I don't want to sell her but I need to get a vehicle that is more practical for my work. She does have a small crack in her body where a street sweeper hit her but it is on the outside and is only cosmetic. I have a pic of it in my submissions, as well as other pics of my car.

I'm asking 2,000$ for her which is what I need for the used truck im looking into to buy.

So lost my 3rd job in a year. All from the same reason "we have had a slow few weeks and need to let you go" every time right before my 3 month probation period is up. if every job is like this I'm about to say fuck it to all of my bills: phone, credit card, insurance, both student loans, take what ever money I have, use my outdoor survival skills and go live off the land somewhere. ill just say fuck it to my bill collectors, they steal billions from other people anyway.

This is bullshit, and I know this isn't jus me, I have other friends in the same boat where they get "let go" right before their probation periods are up. If this is how things are gonna be then I don't want to be stuck in a never ending cycle of laid off, hired, laid off.

ive noticed that when someone im watching will post art, and it wont show up in my submissions for a few min, but now they arnt even showing up at all. ive seen this happen 6 times happen so far. and even hours later they arent showing up in my submissions

I've had this idea for a while of getting my sona done in a civil war battle setting. However I would like someone who is very good at a realistic style of art to do the lines and let me do the coloring. I already have a rough sketch on paper of what I want, but to bring it online I would like to collaborate with another artist to line it and then I would color it. Does anyone out there know of an artist that has a good realistic style that would be willing to help me out with this project? I'm also willing to pay for their work too.

i never got a new laptop but i got my old one working.... barely, and my new tablet is still being shipped over. Also a question to all of you furs out there, does anyone know of any fundraising ideas? Here is why i ask: I currently am trying to save up money for my own set of reenacting gear (uniform, and leathers) so i can help participate with my regiment in school days this upcoming season in 2015. Since the fore mentioned lack of a tablet i am looking for ideas to help me raise the 410$ ill need for my uniform and leather set. If you have any ideas please feel free to share!

And on other note, i am back home from blfc with  RotS-Targe and our friend intwice. had a blast this year all in thanks to intwice for helping us get a room at the hotel instead of down the road. i even got to partake in the fursuit games with targe which was SO AWESOME!!! Thanks to the BLFC staff who allowed us to volunteer for the hungry hippos game! the con itself was amazing and well planned, had fun meeting other furs during the midnight bowling saturday night. i even learned (self taught srash course of course) how to sew a few patches on my con jacket, that and with the huge amount of fursuits at the con this year i am actually going to try and make a sergal partial by next year hopefully.

Ugh.... It's been almost a month and I've still been trying to fix the head lights and nothing is working. I've replaced the switches, the relays and bulbs, yet they still don't work. Idk what's wrong an I'm running out of ideas. It's pissing me off. For those of you that don't know; the headlights on my Fiero flip up but do not turn on. All electronics and lights work except the headlights. I'm on my last straw, I love this car but if this shit keeps happening i might have to try and sell her. If anyone has any idea or any advice I'm open to everything..
