Posted 15 years agoHave you ever heard or seen the phrase "E/N"? That stands for "everything/nothing" and is used to refer to blog posts where the writer goes on about some sort of crap that means everything to the writer but nothing to the reader. I wonder if that phrase should be allowed to apply to interpersonal relationships... "He means everything to me, I mean nothing to him" and so on. For that matter, can we extend it to person-object relationships? "The apple iMacguffin means everything to me but nothing to anyone who matters." I think you get the idea. Don't ask me what brought this up as I have no idea. It is just a Phil Collins moment. *drum machine* I'm going to end this E/N post now. Dude, that sentence is very high-concept, no?

Leaping death
Posted 15 years agoI love my yard. It is a fertile bit of Florida swampland. This allows me to see all sorts of interesting wildlife, but also necessitates a constant battle to keep my property from being consumed by nature. I found it to be a fair trade until the lubbers... They ate the garden, they ate the ornamentals, they ate everything except the stink vine... I hate those grasshoppers so very, very much and they hate me. This means war, I tell you... WAR!
Withdrawals
Posted 15 years agoI'm having art withdrawals... seriously...fo' real and stuff. I'm all broke and stuff so I haven't been able to afford to go anywhere to do my photography nor have I been able to afford stuff to do paintings and I sure can't draw. On account o' all that, I'm getting all shaky from lack of creativity. I gotta make something soon or I'm gonna go crazy.

Time crunch and other things...
Posted 15 years agoBetween the endless free trial of Warhammer Online and that damned Robot Unicorn Attack game I can't ever get anything accomplished. I'm either compulsively smashing stars to "Always" or I'm leveling another class to 10 on WAR. This is making me feel guilty since I've come to consider this gallery a sort of job where I get payed in delicious ego-boosting favorites. Of course this has caused me to feel myself far too good for regular old portrait photography like I used to do for a living... now I'm actually inclined to follow my dreams of going back to school and getting into wildlife biology so as to work as an ursine biologist at a zoo or wilderness preserve whilst also taking delicious nature photos and maybe being published in Nat Geo... possibly...maybe...
Also, on another topic I was wondering if one could have an ogre fursona... and what would that be called... I don't think otherkin, cuz it's not a soul belief... just a guilty fatguy pleasure. On a related note, what about a Hutt? I've been urged towards this by others constantly on account of Hutts kinda being a mix of ogre and reptile (a soul belief thing I do have oddly enough what with the bear fursona thing). As well, the argument says I act like a Hutt a lot, apparently. :/

A Good Start
Posted 16 years agoI finally started uploading my piccies and I'm actually pretty amazed that people seem to rather like them. It makes me feel good that something I love to do gives others joy as well. I'm mass thanking all 3 of my current watchers here cuz I've been told that many consider commenting on someone's page just to thank them a bit rude. So, uh, THANK YOU FOR WATCHING ME! Also, THANK YOU OTHER GUYS FOR FAVORITE-ING ME! Yeah... I'll keep trying to put out good stuff.
