They can be all headshots, or badges or anything. As long as it's 5 people, you're golden. So tell your friends who are looking for some art, post journals for your followers, cause I want art to work on.

General | Posted 12 years agoI've been asking around about getting my tail and ears of my character Amp done, and I think I found my person, so I’m going to offer some slightly discounted commissions to help me save up, and you help you guys save a few bucks! Offering fullbody pieces for only $10, instead of the usual $12. I only have 12 slots available though!

Looking for Tails & Ear Set
General | Posted 12 years agoHey everyone! I've been searching for someone to make a tail and ear set for a while now. I'm a bit particular, so trying to find someone who I think would be good for what I'm looking for in both the tail and ears has not been easy.

The tail is has a tail-mouth. I'm wanting the tail to be roughly 4ft, I'm willing to go shorter though depending on the look of your tails, but I want it as close to ground level as possible. As for the mouth of the tail, I'd like for the mouth to be open, and sturdy, so it wouldn't just collapse on itself. I prefer stuffed tails over foam-based, because I like my tails to be able to have flexibility to them. I'm not sure if this is a possibility, but thinking just the end could have a foam base for the mouth to hold the shape, and the rest be stuffed? Also, I'm aware that the tail, because of the length, it will be dragging on the floor. I have already thought out several options to keep it from getting dirty or ruined. My biggest concern is the weight of the tail being too much for the belt loops or whatever attachment you put into it. If you do message me, I'd like to hear what you think about the weight, and what you would do it prevent it from exhausting the straps.
As for the ears, I would like the barbell piercings included. It's kind of important that the headband, or whatever they are attached to would be easy to hide. Also, if you'd be willing to do the small horns as well, that would be cool, but it's not necessary (as those I could make myself, but it'd be nice to have them attached with the ears on the same headband).
I understand that this would be a complicated project, and that it's going to be more on the pricey side. I'm hoping to be able to commission within the next couple of months. If you're up for the challenge, drop me a message with some examples of your work, the price range your thinking, estimate of shipping to California, and just some basics of how you would create the mouth for the tail. I want the person I commission to have ideas, and feel confident that they can pull it off. Even if I don't choose you for this commission, I have at the very least 2 other tail/ear pairings I want to get in the future, and possibly other tails as well, so I may contact you regarding those.
I think that's everything I wanted to include.. If you have any questions for me, I'd be happy to answer those.

General | Posted 12 years agoSo, every year I go to Anime Expo. It's like, my one "thing" I do each year. Well, recently I graduated from college, I got my cosmetology license, have had 0 luck finding a job, regardless of how many applications I've sent in. And my dad isn't giving me any money anymore (not that he ever did, except for gas and food which I'm pretty good about not wasting). I've calculated that I need to earn about $130 just to get there, for gas and parking. Originally I had one other person going with me, but basically she's pretty much in the same boat as me. So, I'm going to be taking commissions to help fund AX! Note that these prices are for ponies and ferals only. I don't really do anthros or people right now (they'd probably look crappy cause I don't draw them often enough).

Who makes ears and tails?
General | Posted 13 years agoLooking for someone who makes clip-on ears and tails for a decent price. I have three sets I want to commission (two of which are extremely simple), and can't really afford to spend a fortune (and I already know the tail for my third set good very easily be $200 by itself). Basically, I want an off-white, sort of like a cream color set of cat years and tail, and then a set of brown dog ears (the kind that fold down) and tail (curled up), and then I want to get my character Amp's tail and ears (her tail being nearly 5 feet long, and having a tail mouth). If you are a person who makes ears and tails, or know someone who makes them, leave me some comments. Much appreciated~
I'm hoping to be able to get the cat ears and tail done before July, hopefully I'll have money by March for them. The rest, I have no rush to get at the moment.
