Hey everyone, how have you all been doing?

But like, seriously, how are you people? If you're able to, give me a minute of your time to tell me about your endeavors and general life situations, as much or as little as you feel like sharing, I'd appreciate that greatly.

I have dozens of Patrons, but only a handful of you every reply to posts I make, so I can't help but to wonder, "what are the rest of you all doing, and what are your thoughts concerning my creations?"


As for me, I have not been doing all that well for the past couple of months. I managed to find the energy to put out new pages during January, but I could not find the energy throughout all of February to do what I was supposed to.

I don't know what else there is to tell you about my situation, really, other than ask you all to be patient with me if you are able to and wish to. It's been really hard to find the motivation to draw new comics, especially when I know that what people most want to see from me --the nsfw stories-- is the subject matter I'm the least interested in illustrating. But I also know that complaining about it solves absolutely nothing, so there's that.


There's a bunch of projects I have in mind, things I want to do and put out there for you all, but it's a tricky endeavor to do all the things I want to do with the means I have available. In short, I am not done wiith my comics and other projects, I still intend to finish and continue them (except for Interdictor) as soon as I can.


Ultimately, I needed some time off for myself, and even though I didn't plan to take this month off, my body decided to do so for me, which caused me to not enjoy it as much as I could have instead, but there's nothing that can be done about that.


Long story short; there will be no updates from me for this month, which means none of you should be charged by Patreon. I'll return with the second chapter of Menagerie of Misfits whenever I manage to recover, however long that may take.

Holy dangster!

It's been weird, but it's been fun being around for so long. It has also been somewhat concerning that 90% of my non-family acquaintances and friends are furry.

I've come a long way in terms of knowing people, learning about myself, the fandom and all sorts of life things in these years. I showed up as a pup and now I'm a dog dang daddly shepster, who could've predicted THAT?

Regardless, just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's been a part of my life for all these years. All those of you I've got to chat with. Friends that sadly I've grown apart with. People that are always leaving comments in my works. People that have supported me and my work in any way, shape or form in these last years. Thank you all. You're dope!

And yeah, I also wanna thank the people who've left lengthy critiques about my work here or elsewhere. I might not sound appreciative at the moment, but you're doing an important job of pointing me towards becoming a better version of myself. It is a rough job, but someone's gotta do it, and I am thankful to have that kinda people here too.

Some of you might not remember, but I've been using this account here before I moved to this new one,  douglaskim , people have been formally calling me 'kimmykun' whenever they mention me, but do feel free to call me Doug instead. I much prefer it nowadays than Kimmy, which is a nickname I haven't used in years, but is locked in with this account. :I

Yeah, it's been what? A couple of months?

Yeah, life isn't easy, it's rushed and stuff, but I still found up some time to post up another page... But things are so rushed, It had to go in pencils, so.. No colors for you, sorry. :C

But hey, at least it's there!

Also, I can't confirm any new updates for it, it may take me a while to get to it again, or not... Seeing as how stressful my work have been lately.. But either way, if there's a new update, it'll probably be on black and white as well, hope you don't mind it.

Hey everyone!

So, now's summer (for me, at least) and I'm on a big break, allowing me more time to do stuff, which is good, and then I thought, you all must be wanting more frequent updates on the comic, yeah? That's why I've brought up the idea of posting new pages on Mondays, but since it's too time consuming (believe me, I'm doing this whole comic alone), I've decided to strike a deal with you all. =)
If during a week, the comic get enough donations (nothing much, something like 5$ is already a lot.), I'll post an extra page on Monday. How does that sounds? :)

I get it that not everyone are willing to, and those who are, can't really donate much, but I think it's a fair deal.
But don't worry, I will still keep it free for everyone with regular updates on Wednesdays and Fridays, unless something really unavoidable comes up. But that's not really going to happen, gotcha? :)

Other that that, I've been receiving a LOT of comments on the pages, and I'm taking a while to read 'em all and answer in a big batch, but still... I need to hear your thoughts on the comic as well, so whenever you feel like criticizing, please do. Everyone will win in the end. :)


And TL;DR, If the comic gets enough donations in a week, on the next week, I'll update the comic on Monday, if not, it'll be updated on regular schedule.
