Really what can I say? This was by far one of the best experiences of my life. Over ten thousand furries came together to bring our internet community out into the real world, and it was a BLAST. The whole weekend was a fun-filled experience (Yes, even the reg-line, and kudos to the people that turned even that into a charity event!) We raised almost 100,000$ for charity, hundreds of creators got to showcase their work and sell their various wares, and so many creative people offered to run panels, volunteer to keep the con running smoothly, and the many staff came together to give us all a weekend that no one's ever going to forget!

One of the big highlights was getting to spend time with my mate  kikiberry again. I hadn't seen her since August, and as much as I missed the hell out of her, it really didn't set in until we were together again just how happy that crazy dragon makes me <3. I got to catch up with old friends, especially  xanderfrost. I got to meet long-time friends for the first time in person, like  CariFoxLeopard and  pauze. And I made too many new friends to count. I even spent -way- too much time chatting the ears off of so many of the artists, authors, and crafters in the dealer's den. IF I took up too much time fanboying over your art, books, and various other stuff at tables then I'm sorry!

The panels I got to go to were a treat, though I had way more on my itinerary than I could get to in just four days, and we didn't get to get out to a dance due to being exhausted by around 10PM every night. The food and amenities in the area were great, and even my travel days were fun, I return back to normie life with a renewed love for the furry community, and a huge appreciation for everything we accomplish, and how much we come together to support each other and have a great time. I love each and every one of you, and can't wait to do it all over again next year!

((P.S... I may have commissioned someone to make a Kindle fursuit, so there's that to look forward to next year too >_>))

So I've been trying for a while no to motivate myself to start writing more again. I want to try my hand at writing a few short stories and flash-erotica. I've got a hundred and one ideas, but I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to sit down and actually -start- the damn process. So my idea right now is to do a few very short (1-200 words) blurbs for some of my submissions already here on FA. Would anyone out there be interested in reading some of my smutt? :D

On another note, I have 7-8 commission files that I haven't uploaded yet, so expect an influx sometime soon, perhaps as a way of rewarding myself for finishing some writing! :3

Another year has passed, another great con, and now I have to wait a whole year more to go again, but I'm ALREADY EXCITED!

This years Furnal Equinox has once again topped all my previous experiences. Everything from the new venue right downtown Toronto, to the panels and events, the dance floor, and just a fantastic community of furries came together to make this by and far the best convention I've ever been to!

Most of my time was spent hanging with  s00t in the dealers den, selling her art and chatting up all the random passers by that made the mistake of stopping long enough for me to start talking. I didn't get to go to as many panels as I may have liked, but the few that we did manage to attend were fantastic, including the Iron Artist challenge and the charity panel.

We manages to raise over ten thousand dollars for the After the Track charity, an organization that finds adoptive homes for retired racing greyhounds. Their booth was just down the room from our table in the Den, and we got to see so many lazy dogs wandering by or generally just lazing around their booth. A huge shout out goes to all the volunteers that brought their dogs and spent so much time interacting with attendees.

Once again I ran the Midnight Howl panel this year, and with even greater success! Soot made a wonderful poster that hung at her booth for the day, and then I used it that evening to get people to come met up for the panel, which didn't get a room of it's own this year. The story I told was a Micmac tale about Rabbit and the Man in the Moon, and when we headed outside for the howl I tried to count how many people came out... and I lost count at SIXTY! We howled so loud that people as high as the 21st floor of the hotel said they could hear it!

The other huge highlight of this con is getting to see all the cool artists and friends from previous years. Once again we shared a table with  thelivingshadow, same as last year. And  kazooie came by and caught up with us for a bit. I got  anyare and  shinigamigirl to sign some of :tempo321:'s novels I was carrying with me, and bought some prints, shirts, and various other swag to bring home! There were even some great Thunder Bay furries at the con! I ran into  NorthernWhiteWolf a handful of times, and  sepia had her own booth in the Dealers Den right around the corner from me and Soot!

So thanks again for the staff and community at  furnalequinox for making this one of the best cons I've ever attended, I'm already looking forward and making plans for next year, getting ready to Live Large!

Here. On FurAffinity. The biggest, most interesting furry community hub. And in spite of all the hubbub and drama, it's still a pretty well managed site. Downtimes happen, it's normal. And they're relatively well and professionally handled, including the events of the past week in my opinion.

So it's been nearly two weeks since I left for Furnal Equinox, but man has it been crazy. Point is I'm finally sitting down to do one of these, so enjoy!

As good as last year was, this FE was TEN TIMES BETTER. First off, my sister  s00t decided to run a table in the dealers den, and worked her butt off making all kinds of arts and crafts to sell. We had prints, collars, needlepoint, bracelets, and necklaces. Helping run her table was a blast, especially seeing her fill up on sketch commissions so fast every day. Everyone that got a commission from her was super-excited to receive it, and sitting beside her I got to see how happy and encouraged she was when her art got such a good reception and so many compliments. She's already excited to do it again next year!

Last year it was just me and her that attended the con together, but this year we had two friends come to join us: our cousin for the whole weekend, and then a close friend for Saturday night and Sunday. Neither of them are furries, but both had way more fun than they expected, and both want to come back next year. It's always great to see the fandom put on a good face for outsiders! Special shout-outs go to  TheLivingShadow , our neighbor in the dealers den who made the whole experience just that much more enjoyable, and  Kazooie , a friend we met last year, and again this!

Finally, I got to run a panel, the Midnight Howl on Saturday night. I was super-nervous leading up to it, I honestly didn't know if anyone would show up! But there were twenty people there by the time we started, and as far as I could tell everyone was engaged and had a fun time, even if it was a bit chilly outside. Very amusing making so much noise right outside the hotel in the middle of Toronto XD.

I'm already excited for next year's con, moving to a new, bigger venue downtown is going to be really exciting, and I already have ideas for up to THREE PANELS. Keep an eye out friends, can't wait to see you all again next year!

A bit late compared to most others I've sen, but here it is!

For my second convention, this was about the most fun I've had as a part of the furry fandom to date!

To start things off, I met several friends I've known for years. Special shoutouts go to;  shinypup, one of my roommates for the con along with  arcticwlf. I also met up with  Iceshadow13,  dynamic-wolf,  luca, and  myshanti, so great to meet old friends in the fur for the first time!

As well I got to see many, many artists that I've been following for years. Especially  siroc,  carrot, and  darknatasha who was legitimately the first furry artist I -ever- saw, back in high school thirteen years ago! Another creator I fanboyed over a little was  tempo321, who's writing I've adored for years now, I bought his latest book and got it signed, and had a very nice conversation with him!

Shoutouts out of the way, many of the panels and events hosted at the convention were top-notch! I particularly enjoyed the two writing panels I went to: Making Anthro Matter and Erotic Writing. The 18+ anatomy panel was hilarious, and surprisingly informative! And Who's Lion is it Anyways had the whole crowd in stitches, and ended with a Queen sing-along! There were poetry readings, a Midnight Howl, and many others that I regret not having had time to see!

Finally, a shout out has to go to the con and hotel staff, which worked hard all weekend to give all 5,600 of us a fantastic stay and provide all the activities, meals and accommodations that we enjoyed!

This year's going to be my first at Midwest Fur Fest! And I'd really rather not have to spend it in a hotel room alone, not to mention paying for it all myself D:

If anyone knows someone that's looking for a room or a roommate I'd love to hear from them! I have a very inexpensive, conveniently close hotel in mind, but am certainly willing to look into other accommodations depending on what other people are doing.
