That is, in addition to my current ones, am going to un-retire Star. I'm attached to the ones I'm currently using but I do miss drawing him as well so I'll just have to have too many. To be honest I have several other designs that I draw as 'me' as well so I should probably just accept my multitudes

Last year I did kinktober and that was really fun, but a little limiting in topic. So this year I'm going to try to do this OC-tober prompt list by bweird, which I like because it changes themes every week

Helloo thank you for everyone who wished me health, I seem to have discovered some. Got asked if it was covid, it somehow was not, I took three tests and they were all negative. Whatever it was still wiped the floor with me though, can't remember the last time I was THAT sick

Also sad to say three of my RPs ended sort of abruptly, the other players wanted to stop or ghosted. So if anyone wants to know, there will probably be no more art of Lee/Highland, Angel/Ethan, and Dippy/Professor Jules

I don't usually announce when they're over, but Lee was my hyperfocus for a long time, and I was right in the middle of a comic about Dippy so this seemed relevant to share

Plus I know some people will be happy for me to draw things that aren't Lee, so, rejoice!

Thinking I'll take an RP break though, it's getting a little difficult having my artistic inspirations be tied to someone else, particularly when they end randomly. So I might break out some older characters or make some new stories to play with by myself

And also we now resume Artfight-ing! Finally have the energy to draw things that aren't sketches, just in case anyone thought I was done. Shame I lost so much time but I'll try and get a few more done this year at least

I get direct feedback from my RP partner every time I draw something related to our story, and we're constantly developing new scenes, so it's very motivating

I know there's a huge difference between my normal cutesy stuff and my more questionable content, and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Would people prefer I separated my kink related pictures onto another account?

Had two separate people ask me why I've switched to sketches recently so thought I'd make a journal about it. Basically, I've kind of a bum arm. It's an old injury that acts up sometimes, and now is one of those times

I wanna draw still though and it's easier to stop at the sketch stage instead of doing lineart and colour

So I hope no one minds less complete stuff for awhile!

Forgot to mention, my partner's parents are in town so I'm a little busy through the end of the month. Will probably be drawing less and it'll take me longer to reply to comments/messages (particularly discord, which my phone cannot run)

It's not bad, but it's definitely hectic!

Title, do you use the keyword system here? Either for your uploads, or for clicking/searching for art to look at

I don't use the keywords because I never search with them either, but I could start. Would anyone PREFER I use keywords to make it easier to find things? Or do people generally not care?

Ten million OCs, tons of art drive, absolutely zero inspiration

It's kind of frustrating since I definitely want to draw, my brain just is not coming up with anything interesting

New OC designs don't count as inspiration right now, if I make new characters it means I've failed

So I'm pretty upfront that I RP a lot but I think I need to be more specific - I roleplay following previously agreed upon prompts and/or with friends, it mostly involves writing a story together. Yes sometimes it's kink adjacent/related, but none of these are sexual

Some of my RP friends I have known for years, and we're very familiar with each others' boundaries and interests by now

If you wanna come up with a story or characters together I'm definitely open to that! But I don't do casual *hugs you and purrs* style or sexy RP so please don't comment/message me about those

Also sorry if this seems like it's targeted AT a person, I'm not upset with anyone specifically, thought this was just a good time to address it

Follow up to journal from November and you might have noticed I am posting tons of art so I guess I needn't have worried

Everything feels so much less intense except art which feels completely out of control, I literally can't seem to stop drawing. SO really hope I'm not driving everyone nuts with the art submissions

I have tons of things I haven't even posted here yet. I'll probably just skip the human stuff since the non-uploaded stuff is really adding up

I used to like imgur but it's kind of become hard to use in the past few years. I've been using tumblr to give people full sized images but does anyone have any suggestions for better sites to use nowadays?

Bumping old journal, but also you might've noticed I'm doing more YCHs after years of not really offering any kind of commissions. As of last journal I'm feeling a lot more capable of completing art so I'm hoping to continue doing YCHs and maybe full commissions eventually
