Yes, especially if I'm in suit.
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
Have fun, see people I haven't seen in a while, and get some hot chocolate from Christkindlmarket (because it's amazing).
See you next week!

Hey, It's GLFC Time!
Posted 10 years agoYep, I'll be there, doing staff things, co-hosting the fursuit character performance panel with
sharpe19 again, and overall making sure folks have a good time.
Hope to see everyone there!

So, MFF Was A Thing
Posted 10 years agoI'm pretty sure everyone and their second-cousin-twice-removed has heard about the chlorine attack, but the most memorable thing for me was what happened afterward. I'll get to that in a bit, but let's start at the beginning.
Thursday:
Picked up
mavuriku around 3pm EST and made our way to the Hyatt. Traffic wasn't as bad as I'd anticipated, but I'm not gonna complain. Checked into hotel, found my roommates, and wandered around the hotel a little bit before calling it a night.
Friday:
Took the L to downtown Chicago with a couple of my roommates to check out the Christkindlmarket, where we had the best hot chocolate ever. Strolled along the Mag Mile for a bit, stopping at the Hershey Store and Ghirardelli's and had hot chocolate at both places. (I like hot chocolate, in case you couldn't tell.) Passed by some great street performers on our way back to the L, then suited up for the Dance Comp prelims (I didn't make it through, but I got some good feedback). De-suited, met up with more folks, popped in on the dance in time to see
draconicarcher propose to
ino89777, then went to sleep.
Saturday:
Woke up, ate pizza for breakfast like the adult I am, then made it down to rehearse for the dance comp's opening number. Skipped the fursuit parade and Floor Wars to Skype in to my nephew's birthday party, but that didn't happen, so I wandered Artist's Alley and Dealer's Den before they closed for the night. Got my drink on at a room party and was actually headed back to my room to go to bed when they evacuated the hotel. Didn't have a jacket, so running into
ghimno and
kodypup in fullsuit was a stroke of luck. We made our way over to the Hilton, where
infinityfire was nice enough to offer his room as a place for us to crash. Once we got the all clear, I went to my room, plugged my dying phone in and went to sleep.
Sunday:
Woke up and went down to the final rehearsal for the opening number. At this point I'm running on 4 hours of sleep, some Dr. Pepper and a drinkable yogurt, but I was still focused on getting the routines down. Before we all went on, JD gave a speech about how we were the first bit of normalcy after the chlorine attack and that we had to show everyone that we as a fandom wouldn't let it get us down. Thoroughly inspired, I joined my team and we tore up the dance floor.
Now, I've wanted to be a part of the dance competition for some time, and between the stress of getting the routines down, the lack of sleep from the previous night and the joy of pulling it all off and hearing the applause, I did something I've never done after a performance: I took my fursuit head off and I cried. Just... everything leading up to that point came out all at once and frankly, it was something I really needed. (Many thanks to
tyzin for literally being my shoulder to cry on.) Once the dance comp was done, I de-suited, showered, then went down to the con suite for a massive sandwich. Caught both the last part of the fursuit games and the closing ceremonies, then managed to squeeze in some last-minute partying before sleeping.
Monday:
Packed up my stuff (I was kinda sad that I had to wear my boots instead of my feetpaws like I'd been doing all weekend), had lunch with
mavuriku and
spacedogspiff, then went back home to GR, where I got a work trip to Toledo not 4 hours later. Trust me, I was hoping for a Chicago trip.
All in all, this was an excellent con, and after this weekend I can completely see why people arrive on Wednesday. I might just save my vacation week from work for MFF 2015. We shall see.
MCFC might be my next con pending finances, otherwise you'll definitely see me at GLFC. Hope to see you all soon!

Taking Artist Recommendations For Ref Sheet
Posted 11 years agoSo, I'm looking to get a ref sheet done of my hyena-dragon hybrid character, Fosse (why yes, he's going to be a dancing suit, how'd you ever guess?). Am considering getting an adult ref sheet in addition to a clean one, but since cost is a factor it's not mandatory for me. Anybody got an artist they'd recommend?
Never Mind, No AC For Me
Posted 11 years agoBetween folks bowing out of the room and getting into a fender bender with my car that now demands all of my money, I will not be going to AC. Frankly, the next con for me might not be until MFF, which is a reeeeaaallllyyyyy long stretch of time. Things might change though, but yeah, I won't be at AC. Maybe next year.
I haven't canceled my room at the Courtyard yet, so if you know people who either need a room or want to get a room closer to the convention center, let me know and I'll make it happen.

I Want To Go To Anthrocon, But...
Posted 11 years agoI'm planning to go to Anthrocon, and I have a room at the Courtyard from the 3rd-7th, but I don't have any roommates at the moment. The problem is that, since it's a non-AC rate room, it's a little more expensive than normal.
Basically, I need to either A) find at least three more people willing to room with me or B) cancel my room and find someone who has crash space. I'd prefer to room with folks I know, but if it comes down to it I may post on the AC forums and hope for the best.
Anyone able to help me out here?
*Edit* If cost is a factor, I can offer the room slots at a discount (not to go below the AC rate) as long as it's mentioned beforehand. Also, if you're able to pay for your slot before the con, it is locked in and you cannot be bumped from the room.

"Come Dream With Us" Official Press Release (Please share!)
Posted 11 years agoThe West Michigan Furries would like to extend a call for artists of all mediums to submit their work for a massive installation to be entered into ArtPrize, the world's largest art competition.
The entry, tentatively titled "Come Dream With Us: An Experience in Anthropomorphic Art" plans to feature the talents of artists from all over the fandom with dreams and dreaming as a common theme throughout the installation. Any form of artwork, whether it's 2-D, 3-D, or performance-based, is welcome as long as it is family-friendly and does not infringe on any third-party copyrights. Artists are not required to attend ArtPrize, but must be able to send their completed pieces at least one week before the competition.
ArtPrize will take place in Grand Rapids, MI from September 24- October 12, 2014 and features two top prizes of $200,000 each, one awarded by a panel of judges and the other determined by public vote, with a total prize purse of $560,000. Last year, over 400,000 people visited ArtPrize and a total of 446,850 votes were cast throughout the event. CNN featured it as Michigan's must-see destination for 2014 in their "50 States, 50 Spots" article: http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/02/trave.....014/index.html
For more information or to sign up, go to http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5669720/ The deadline to join is April 30, 2014.

No MCFC For Me
Posted 11 years agoYeah, I really, really wanted to go, but I can't spare the funds. In the past I might have tried to finagle something, but this time I can't justify it.
Hope you guys all have fun!

Yep, GLFC Happened.
Posted 11 years agoAnd I didn't die! Huzzah!
That's not to say the con was practically perfect in every way; our theme wasn't "404: Theme Not Found" for nothing. Scheduled events missing or cancelled last minute, events starting late (somebody even joked that next year's theme should be "15 Minutes Late" so people would expect it), equipment not working right (I never did get livestreaming to work, though
rabbit_ears streamed almost the whole con on his Ustream channel here: http://tinyurl.com/glfcstream ) and a lot of other things that stressed me out. We couldn't let those get us down though, not when we had a con to run, so we just called them "404's" and moved on.
Thankfully, the challenges were outweighed by more pleasant things. Getting to see all my friends again (however brief the encounters were) as well as make some new ones, co-hosting the fursuit performance panel with
sharpe19 and having it go over very well despite no major preparation, mastering the projector, petting the kitties from Crash's Landing and interacting with the puppies from Paws With A Cause in suit, throwing together Charity Cards Against Humanity at the last minute and still raising some money, and stealing
tychoaussie to help pick up the cake and cupcakes for the Guest of Honor Luncheon (which both
reimeerkat and
omgsparky loved). I even let
bombed run around in Money on Friday night. (She bribed me with art. I couldn't say no.)
I also revealed yet another hidden talent of mine: I jumped in the masquerade as a last minute entry and sang "Play The Game" by Queen (I've been taking voice lessons and that was the song I was working on). It didn't go as well as when I danced at Floor Wars (kinda flubbed a chunk of the song), but I had fun regardless.
Friday had been really stressful for me, and it wasn't until I walked out to the pool area on Saturday night and saw the pool full of people swimming around and sliding down the slide that I realized that, despite all the mess-ups, people were still having fun. Once I was able to let go of the stress, the rest of the weekend was a breeze.
So, now that everyone has returned to their own mundane lives (and I fight off this con crud. Figures.), I'm left with one single thought:
Next year's gonna be epic.
Many thanks to everyone who helped, and massive thanks to the GLFC staff, without whom I'd be a frazzled mess at the con. Y'all are family.
Hope to see you guys at GLFC 2015!

I Should Probably Do This GLFC Meme...
Posted 11 years agoHey, GLFC's coming up. Months of work on this con about to coalesce into one weekend.
... I'm insane.
Anywho, have a meme.
Where are you staying?
The main hotel. I live ten minutes away, but I'd rather be on the premises in case things happen.
What day are you getting there?
Checking into my room on Friday, but will be there Thursday.
Who will you be rooming with?
Folks.
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
The con staff will be my frickin' family that weekend, but I'll also be hanging out with some of the locals.
Will you be suiting?
When I get a spare moment.
What suits will you be wearing?
Just Money.
Do you do free art?
I can't art.
What is your gender?
Guy with boobs and a vagina (aka girl).
How tall are you?
5'7''
Are you taken? Are you looking for a 'mate'?
Nope and nope.
Can I talk to you?
Sure.
Can I touch you?
Uh, ask first?
How can I find you?
Look for Money or some long-haired dingus running around the hotel.
Can I visit your room?
If you're a random stranger, then absolutely not. If I know you, maybe.
Can I buy you drinks?
Yes, especially after Closing Ceremonies. I have a feeling I'm going to need a LOT of whiskey sours.
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Hugs: yes. Snuggles: not unless you're on my list.
Are you nice?
Most of the time, yes.
Do you have an artist table?
Nope.
Will you be going to parties?
If I get a moment to do so.
Will you be performing?
Not really.
Will you have a panel?
YES! I'm co-hosting "How to Bring The Character Out of Your Fursuit" with
sharpe19 and I'm hosting/moderating the "Fursuit Story Hour" and the "Open Cypher".
What/where will you be eating?
I don't know, food from food places.
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
Again, only if I know you.
Can I draw in your sketchbook?
If I bring one you can.
Can I take your picture?
Yeah, but if you catch me out of suit I'll probably look like I'm stoned.
What's your goal(s) for the con this year?
Just two:
-Make this con awesome.
-Not die.

Aaaaaand It's My Birthday.
Posted 11 years agoToday (at 1 pm if you want to be really technical) I turn 27.
Originally I was going to go to my parents for our family Christmas party, but they have no power and the roads are dodgy even for a professional driver like me, so that has been canceled. I was kinda disappointed because I would have been able to see my new nephew and spend time with my family. On top of that, I was actually able to buy gifts for people for the first time in a few years (financial issues prevented me from doing it before) and I wanted to see them open them up. Mom says the party might be pushed back to after New Years when she gets back from visiting my sister in SC.
So, now my entire day has opened up. Will probably hang out with
blizzardwuffy and
cinderelmcreek later, but in the meantime I'll watch the snow fall and cash in some free birthday coupons on food and stuff.

MFF 2013 (aka StaffCon, DancerCon, and SleepDeprivedCon)
Posted 12 years agoBoy, am I glad it's Thanksgiving week, because I just recovered enough to write this thing. Most of the weekend was a blur, but here's what I remember:
-Got down to the Hyatt around 9-ish on Friday (drove straight out from work), picked up my neat staff badge and secured my room. Poked around Artist's Alley and Dealer's Den, but I couldn't linger because hey, the food truck is here! Ran off to the back of the house to help unload, sort and set up the Staff Lounge. Worked there til 9pm, then went back to my room for a brief nap. A room party ensued, then I got a little more sleep (about 3 hours total after being awake for 30+ hours).
-Saturday I was up and at 'em around 8 am to get to the Staff Lounge. Popped in on the Fursuit Performance panel (where I saw
tychoaussie but couldn't talk because, again, Staff Lounge), scavenged some extra food from the Sponsor's Brunch, then got suited up for the Fursuit Parade. Bounced my way through the parade, then headed right to the Rosemont Ballroom to stretch and warm up before Floor Wars. De-suited and ran back to the Staff lounge to close it up, after which I caught 2 and Kage's charity performance. Fox Amoore needs to do incidental music for these shows more often, just sayin'. Went back to the room and slept again.
-Sunday I was up early for, you guessed it, Staff Lounge. I was left to man the lounge by myself all afternoon, so I missed almost all of the dance competition (poked my head in just in time to catch the end of Furternity's routine) which sucked for me. Packed up the Staff Lounge, went to the Staff Thank You party, then took a nap before suiting up and spending a short time at the Dead Dog Dance. Wore Money as a partial for the first time ever because I wanted to suit but didn't feel like wearing a fullsuit, had another room party, then sleep.
-Monday actually meant sleeping in for me (3pm checkout for the win), after which I packed up my stuff and drove through snow and Chicago traffic to end up back at work, right where I started.
As I mentioned in my previous journal, both Floor Wars and being on staff were new to me, so they deserve their own sections.
Floor Wars- Sweet mother of Xenu, was this something else. I signed up for this on a whim and almost went for the nonsuit division, though I'm glad I didn't when I found out that Tyzin was my randomly(?) assigned partner. I think I did all right for my first time out, though I know I could have done much better than some of the flailing around that I did. We might not have made it to the finals, but the experience coupled with all the support we got (for which I thank you all) is enough to make me try for Floor Wars at Anthrocon. I'll have more time to improve before then (footwork footwork footwork!); maybe I can make it to the finals there.
Here's footage of our journey for those who want to relive it:

Staff- I signed up to be on staff so I could get some experience actually working a convention before GLFC rolled around. While the perks were nice (free registration, late checkout on Monday, lots of food), I'm not so sure I'll be staffing next year. I didn't have any major problems working in the Staff Lounge, but being tied to it for a majority of the con meant missing out on hanging out with friends and running around in suit acting like a cute puppy. Having to miss the dance competition and not have a say in the matter was also annoying for me, as watching that is a highlight for me at every MFF. If there happens to be a staff opening in another department I'll go for it, but if not I might just switch to being a volunteer instead.
That was my MFF this year. Next up is GLFC, which I'll really need to bust my ass for. The rest of my cons for 2014 will be MCFC, AC and MFF for sure, though I may be able to squeeze in one or possibly two more depending on my finances. Can't wait for 2014 to start!

Hey, MFF's next week.
Posted 12 years agoYAAAAAAAAAAAY!
Third year in a row for me and I can't wait, especially since there are a couple things different this year for me:
1) I'm competing as Money in the fursuit division of Floor Wars.
tyzin's my randomly assigned partner for their 2-on-2 format, and while I can't guarantee a flawless victory, I can guarantee it'll be entertaining. Come support us!
2) I'm a staff member this year. Yep, I got recruited to work in the Staff Lounge, so if you don't see me a lot, that's why. I might pop up in the Con Suite if they need extra hands though.
Other than that, I'll be running around in and out of suit as much as I can while making time for booze and friends. I was planning on arriving Thursday night, but finances are a wee bit tight, so unless someone has floor space available I'll be arriving at the Hyatt early Friday morning and staying until Monday.
Hope to see you all there!

Fursuiting Photo Dump
Posted 12 years agoYeah, I finally got around to uploading some pictures of me as Money. Basically, if I haven't already favorited it elsewhere, I uploaded it here. Hopefully I can keep up with it.
Also, Money can dance. Start watching at 2:33 to see me get my groove on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ht4YZCMX4I

Official Anthrocon Attendance Report!
Posted 12 years ago... It was good.
It's kinda weird to say that the world's largest furry convention was just "good", but it's not the fault of the con or those that run it. (My service with the Westin was mixed at the end though; kinda felt like they were trying to shove the furries out the door, plus we had some dodgy-looking blankets that we didn't notice until Sunday night.) I think it might be because I was so focused on my own personal track that I didn't get to meet as many new people as I would have liked. That, and I was pretty darn broke. Next year, more spending money.
I did have fun riding out with
rixam and
thundercolt (who thought we were still in MI when we'd passed the giant "Welcome to Ohio" sign ten minutes back ), as well as rooming with
lil_chi_wolf,
tyzin and
steeldayena and tracking down the location for Duke's dance video with
sharpe19 and
pizzawolf. Also, curse all you dancer furs for making me want to dance and make my own dancer fursuit and possibly do floor wars at MFF because your talent and enthusiasm is so damn contagious AHHHH!
In short, AC was a good time. I would like to go again, but AC will more than likely be my "splurge" con; if I don't have the money for it, I won't go. I am keeping my eye out for pics and vids of me as Money, so if you see any, please send them my way.
Not going to IFC (extended family camping trip), Furlaxation is a maybe (cousin's wedding on that Saturday), will definitely be at MFF (wouldn't miss it for the world).

About Anthrocon...
Posted 12 years agoYeah, I'mma be there. First time ever.
Gonna be showing up at the Westin on Thursday, room with
tyzin
lil_chi_wolf and
steeldayena, fursuit a lot, catch a couple panels, then be all sad when I have to leave on Monday. I'll also indulge in some Fernando's and Primanti Bros. while trying mightily not to spend my entire paycheck at Artist's Alley/Dealer's Den.
Who else is joining me in this madness?

What I Learned At FCN This Year
Posted 12 years ago-If I'm not bringing a fursuit, I can fit all my necessary items in one messenger bag.
-It is difficult, but not impossible, to break into a Suzuki.
-100 proof rum will put me to sleep faster than any sleeping pill ever could.
-You can trade 200 cigarettes for Uncle Kage's vagina in LA county jail.
-Any time is a good time to sing "Bohemian Rhapsody".
-Whiskey sours are good, especially when mixed by
steeldayena
-Filtering hookah tobacco with Rockstar and dragon berry rum makes for a tasty smoke.
-$21,000 can help a lot of kitties.
-I hate leaving conventions (ok, I already knew that one, but I had to relearn it again).
Had a blast this year, hope to see you guys again soon!

Getting Familiar With Hotel Rooms (aka My 2013 Con Schedule)
Posted 12 years agoI'm planning on hitting up at least 3 cons this year, with a 4th one pending work-related scheduling. Currently the list stands at:
FCN
Anthrocon (scored a room at the Westin)
Furlaxation (maybe)
MFF
Both FCN and MFF were no-brainers; I love going to both of them. I've never been to AC before and missed out on it last year, so that's one I'm looking forward to as well. As far as Furlaxation goes, I liked the con last year and I know that I can afford it (I call it BudgetCon), it's just a matter of making sure I can make it jibe with my work's weird attendance policy.
If I had the money and flexibility, I'd go to Camp Feral and Biggest Little Fur Con too. My big goal is to eventually go overseas for a con; since EF is in Germany I'd probably combine that with a "tour the land of my ancestors" excursion.
Between the cons and the wildly successful local meets here in GR, it's going to be quite busy for me this year. Hope to see you all at one of these things!

Kira's First Ever Grant-A-Wish ChristmaBirthday List!
Posted 13 years ago~Step 1~
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
~Step 2~
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special
~Step 3~
Here's my list for your consideration:
1. Tires for my car (I really need to replace them.)
2. Updated ref sheet for Kira (The one I have now is okay, but I've made a few tweaks that I'd like to be reflected.)
3. An iPod touch (4th or 5th generation preferably)
4. More artwork of Kira or my feral kitten Lynnie (Lynnie especially, justlook at how cute she is.)
5. A knitting machine (looks like this)
6. Ref/concept sheet for a new character I've thought up (but haven't figured out details for yet)
7. A set of size 10 winter boots (so I can stomp around in the snow)
8. Food processor (I'm asking for some pretty ordinary stuff now, aren't I?)
9. Toys for my cat Momo (He's probably bored whenever I'm at work, at least when he's not sleeping)
This last one is a little different and also special to me. Not a lot of people know this, but around this time last year I was homeless. The few times I didn't spend the night in my car were spent at a shelter here in GR, and I promised that when I was back on my feet I would give back to the place that was there for me when I needed it. With that in mind, my final wish is...
10. Gifts and donations toDégagé Ministries, particularly their Open Door program (You can donate money here, and their own wish list is here. Unable to give to this charity? A donation to your nearest animal shelter would also be wonderful.)
Contact info: Want to grant one of my wishes? Note me and I'll tell you all you need to know.

The Mostly Compulsory MFF Report, Plus Other Things
Posted 13 years agoYeah, I know I'm a bit late to the game with the whole MFF recap, but there honestly isn't much to say about the con that hasn't already been said. MFF 2011 was my first furry con, and returning to it this year was a no-brainer. Was finally able to commission
mavuriku for a badge, got to walk in the fursuit parade, kinda sorta took over part of the Fursuit Performance panel (I spoke up a lot and a few people thanked me for sharing), didn't drink as much as I thought I would and hung out with tons of people (or at least said "hi" to tons of people). Getting to see Too Much Light was awesome; I'd been wanting to see the NeoFuturists ever since I read "43 Plays About 43 Presidents" and was happy to get the chance. Seeing the folks from Felines and Canines receive over $40,000 from the entire con ($30 of which came from my winning bid for a box of Hostess Cupcakes at the Charity Auction) was very heartwarming; getting woken up at 3 am by a fire alarm was not. A great con overall, and next year's pirate themed con ought to be just as good.
Other Things:
- Work is, well, work. Second shift sucks though, so I'm on the lookout for an actual day job.
- My mother gave me her old sewing machine, so I may try to do some small projects for a bit of side money. (She's used it to make a lion costume for me for part of my youth group's dinner theatre back in the day, so I know it can handle short-pile fur. Will have to see about long-pile.)
-Speaking of, I finally got around to telling my mother about the whole furry thing (She thinks it's a bit weird but is otherwise neutral). She's currently the only family member who knows I'm a furry; a couple of non-furry friends know I'm one and I wore Money at a Christmas party for my stepdad's side but never said I was a furry there. I'll admit that part of the reason I didn't say anything was the fear of getting a negative reaction, but the other reason was that I didn't feel the need to. I'm an adult and I don't live with my parents, so I could do whatever I want. Letting my mom know I'd be out of state would be helpful in case something happened to me, but I didn't need to go into specifics. To be honest, now that my mom knows I'm a furry it makes it a lot easier to explain where I get all these weird friends from. :-P
-Finally, my birthday is coming up next month. There'll be a birthday bowling shindig to celebrate. Details here: http://www.michiganfurs.com/forum/i.....p?topic=8445.0
That's it for now. Time to go prepare for the holidays...

Just Registered For MFF, Hence The Compulsory Meme
Posted 13 years agoWhere are you staying?
The Hyatt
What day are you getting there?
Friday morning.
Who will you be with?
I'm rooming with
tyzin,
lil_chi_wolf and
randythepotatofox
Who will you hang out with during the convention?
darkwolf33333,
craftyandy,
steeldayena,
platero,
nuka_nuki,
mavuriku and oodles of others.
Are there any panels you might be attending?
I might hit up a couple.
Will you be suiting?
You betcha.
Which suit(s) are you bringing?
I'll definitely be wearing Money.
Do you draw?
Well, I'm told my poorly-drawn stick figures are nice...
Are you taking commissions or trades?
Nope.
How old are you?
25
How tall are you?
5'6
Are you taken? Are you looking for a mate?
...Yes, in a sense, and no, I'm not looking.
Can I talk to you?
Sure!
Can I touch you?
Depends on how well I know you and what kind of touching we're talking about here.
How can I find you?
Either look for the rottweiler suit or some chick with glasses and a badass tiger badge.
Can I buy you drinks?
I wouldn't mind it.
Can I give you stuff?
I like free stuff.
Can I hug or snuggle with you?
Hugs are fun! Snuggles depend on how well I know you.
What’s your goal for the con this year?
The same goal for every con, Pinky; try to have lots of fun.
Are you nice?
Of course I am, except for the times I'm not, but those are rare at cons.
How long are you going?
Friday-Monday
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Saying "Kira!", "Hey Money" (if I'm in suit) or "Ooh look, something shiny" usually works.
Where will you be most of the time during the days?
Out and about the con, probably causing shenanigans.
What/where will you be eating?
Probably at the con suite, though I might go out with my friends once or twice.
Can I come with you for food/fun etc?
If I know you or I invite you, then sure!
Can I take your picture?
If I'm in suit, go nuts! Out of suit, you're better off asking first; usually I'll oblige, but I might have my reasons for declining.

A Free Art Raffle?
Posted 13 years agoWeddingCon 2012 Meme (AKA Why I Won't Be At Anthrocon)
Posted 13 years ago(Given the size of my extended family, any wedding practically is a con in itself.)
How do you want to be addressed?
By my name, though “Hey you Maid of Honor” works too.
Gender?
Female dress-wearer
Age?
25
What do you look like?
Myself.
Where/how can I find you?
If I'm not on the dance floor, I'm probably eating cake.
How are you getting there?
Ye olde land yacht (aka my car).
What hotel are you staying at?
There was a block of rooms at a Springhill Suites near the reception hall but I didn't get a room in time, so I might just go back to my place.
Which days will you be attending?
Rehearsal on Friday, wedding on Saturday, random shenanigans on Sunday
Do you do requests?
I can dance, but I can't draw.
Do you do trades?
Nope.
Do you do commissions?
Nope.
Will you have prints, CDs, or merchandise?
Nope.
Will you have Art in the Art Show?
Given the amount of pictures I'll be in, I'll practically BE the art show.
Who will you be with?
Everyone else in the wedding party.
What is your main purpose for attending?
My younger sister is getting married to the love of her life, do I need any other reason?
Can I talk to you?
Absolutely.
Can I take pictures with you?
It'd be dumb of me to say no, so yes.
Can I touch/hug/cuddle you?
Yes/yes/no
Can I hang out with you?
Of course, if you've been invited.
Do you go to parties?
This IS a party, a pretty dang awesome one if I do say so myself.
Do you fursuit/costume?
Yes, but the fursuit's staying at home. I doubt the dress would fit over it anyway.
What is the best way to reach you?
Probably via text, though since I'll be busy with wedding duties I won't be very prompt with responses.
Anything else?
All you folks have fun at AC! Bring me back a souvenir. (Ok, you don't have to, but it'd be nice.)
How do you want to be addressed?
