First off, Merry Christmas 🎁 I hope if you're reading this that you've had a good holiday.

Secondly, I've been through a lot over the last 6 months. Basically a cycle of heartbreak and hoping and going from one to the other depending on the day. In the end I tried the best I could but things didn't turn out the way I would have liked. For all the sacrifices we can make, you can't make someone stay if they don't want to. It would've been nice to do without all the lying and cheating though.

It hurts every day and I'm considering stepping back from furry somewhat. She became a big part of why I liked all of this, I could get art that made her smile and she seemed to genuinely enjoy the fantasy. I'm sure I won't be able to stop myself from checking in, but it will continue to hurt for a long time.

To those of you I'm close to, you know how to get ahold of me. To everyone else, happy holidays and may your 2025 be better than my 2024.

Well, its been the better part of a year since my return and there's not a whole lot I can complain about. Thinking over some art I've received recently, I think I'm going to go ahead and post the NSFW things that have ended up in my inbox one way or another. What's that mean? More red border posts coming to my gallery from a smattering of artists, all sourced if you're interested. I've taken a liking to getting art done and I'm definitely going to continue to do so be it through regular comms or YCHs.

Now for that open offer I mentioned: If you happen to really like any of the OCs and have considered getting art done that may include them in some way, feel free to reach out with your idea, I'll probably be game to split the cost if it's something I like the sound of. Of course this would be dependent on what my budget can allow for but I keep my finances in check so it shouldn't be an issue now and then.

Its been quite a few years at this point since I would consider myself at all active in the fandom beyond occasionally seeing posts on Twitter. I don't know if I necessarily want to 'become a part of the fandom' again but at the very least I want to keep an ear to the ground and stay (at least more so) in the loop on things. I've always maintained a personal connection with anthro-style characters but much of the politics and drama of the social crowds that make up the fandom left a bad taste in my mouth. I've taken up the mindset of not worrying about the wider crowd and working to build a smaller, tight-knit group of my own that keeps positive regardless of the surroundings. With some fortunate life choices finally panning out, I've found myself in a place where I can afford to spare some money now and again on art and other creators.

I've gone ahead and cleared out just about all of the content that was on my profile from prior to my return. Looking to have a fresh start, art and all.
