TL;DR: Basically I'm feeling a little ill still, been writing, birthday on Tuesday (cue ominous noises), and basically was awoken at 7am to go untie my tiny Kaiju (who has killed his SECOND mole. Dude, like how do you catch a mole!?) and upcoming plans for this month and last "con" of the year.

Well...actually, had midget patrol not sounded the panic alarm at 6:00 am, I'd probably still be asleep right now, but I guess he told me that I needed to be up and writing, especially because I have *counts* uh... a whopping SEVEN stories that I need to complete, with deadlines for a couple approaching soon, so there's that. I'll go more in-depth with the anthologies and what I'll be submitting to them. has already cracked the whip on submissions because I've been slacking (sleeping does HAS BEEN SLEEPING!!!!) and one of my 2014 goals is to become a published author, so I gotta....wait, I said I was gonna get into this later! Damnit ADD!!! Stay focused Kiris!

HEALTH UPDATE
For those that have been inquiring about my health...wait, you didn't know that I was sick? Oh, well, yeah, I was/still am, but this is an on-going battle I'm fighting here so there's always that lol. But just as an fyi to bring you up to speed if you didn't know: My kidneys have been having issues and I had to go to Urgent Care about two weeks ago and was told that I was unbelievably ill and extremely dehydrated (which shocked the hell outta me because I've been drinking liquids like a Dhole fish :/) and was given a Gatorade test. The Gatorade test consists of two cups of Gatorade and you're asked to drink them. Not exactly hard, right? Right?! Wrong! See, I had been unable to keep food down for the longest time and to those that noticed, I would horde my noms while everyone munched happily, and I'd grab a to-go container and leave with my food, while drinking lots of water of other non-carbonated beverage. Well, segue aside, they had tried to draw blood to get an acute reading of what was going on and GUESS WHAT?! THEY COULDN'T DRAW ANY!! YAY!!! Wait, no! Not yay! Horrible needle-poking ouchies is what happened!!! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! So yeah, they started with a regular butterfly-needle and stuck it in my arm (after plucking my arm several times to try and bring a vein to the surface). Normally I can watch them draw blood any time because I'm odd like that, but time, I almost passed out because THEY MOVED THE NEEDLE!!! So, once the nurse figured out that the tiny wasn't working, they tried (cue theme music from Twilight Zone) the BIG, GRAY NEEDLE! Now, I'm not usually one to scream under any circumstances (this includes having a dentist half-ass pulling a cracked tooth last year and basically saying nothing he could do about pulling it, and then sending me home bleeding and sore), but having a MUCH LARGER gray needle stuck in your other arm near the bend of your elbow and having them MOVE THE NEEDLE is kinda close to torture! So after he removed the needle and bandaged me up (not a drop of blood taken), I was left in my little room to cower in a corner, feeling very much like a cat that has been punted in a lake of cold water, hissing and snapping at anyone that came near.

So, the Dr comes in and she's like "Oh, you're VERY dehydrated, have you been drinking?" I looked at her and then looked at the bottle of water sitting near my purse and keeping all the snark out of my voice, responded "Yeah I actually have." She then asked me if I had been vomiting and after my 'yes doc I have', she said okay and gave me the GATORADE TEST. The Gatorade test is used to determine if you can at least retain/swallow fluids and by extension medicine. Retain as in 30 mins after drinking, I had to still have the Gatorade in me; if I threw it up, guess what happened?! I GOT A TRIP TO THE ER AND THEN A 3-DAY HOSPITAL STAY!!!! :D :D :D So I passed it by keeping the fluids down, but was warned to follow up with my PCP on Monday, otherwise THEY WOULD COME GET ME. I told my friends and was warned that if my Mom didn't come home (don't do me!) the next day, THEY WOULD COME GET ME, except I would be tranquilized, muzzled, and tossed in a guest bedroom to sleep it off until she did. She came home the next day and I went to the doctor with her (cause I couldn't drive too much) and long story short, this happened (http://postimg.org/image/mimy1l92h/).
So, up until YESTERDAY, I was slowly getting better until one of my communiter service group members came up and HUGGED ME! Normally, I don't mind hugs, but usually people squeeze the hell out of me right around my midsection and I've been pretty much Heissman Trophying people that try unless I stoop down and hug them. BUT SHE GOT ME. This chick squeezed me, RIGHT. ON. MY. KIDNEYS. So, she got to hear me scream :) This displeased them greatly and now on Monday, I must call the Dr again. Thanks girl for adding the injury to the insult of you backstabbing me during Shitty Week.

WRITING

Okay, last year when I had the fortunate opportunity to meet and his awesome boyfriend, I learned that Nighteyes is a writer. A pretty damned good one really (I hijacked his feathers and held them ransom until he autographed my copies of FANG 5 and TABOO). When I told him that I could write...a little, he asked to see my work and I showed him my magnus opus (up until that point) and he proceeded to do to it what my Kaiju has done to those moles (beat it to death). But! That's exactly what I needed because it opened me up to the possibility of actually getting published and pursuing my passion: WRITING :D He and his boyfriend (who shall remain human, but since we're in the realm of Furry, I'll think of him as a really wise, self-assured, confident, panther capable of keeping Shibes, Foxes/Folfs, Wolves, GSheps, Bears, Lions, Ligers, and even mischievous Guardian Dhole/Dire-Wolf Hybrids in check, but also a very loving and real soul. Funny aside, I actually played dead to avoid drawing his ire. No no, DO NOT WANT.) have done me a favor and reviewed a few of my pieces (namely something I submitted, details will be below). But the good Coffee Wolf is usually cracking the whip for me to write (yeah, sometimes I get high and wander off and he has to drag me back by my scruff for MOAR WRITING!1!1!) and that's been helpful because I've been able to take up Coffee Wolf's Challenge! (see below again)

At Megaplex 2014 (which I missed, but had enough good furs to keep me posted on it. Thanks Ruy, ) Nighteyes held his first panels, which went extremely well and I was so happy. So, since I was confined to my bed still, I check out the latest submissions for HEAT 12 & HOT DISH 2. So I asked him which one he was submitting to (mind you, I wanted to try my paw at ONE) and Coffee Wolf replied that he was doing both. BOTH. In Addition to a few more and Camp NaNoWriMo. *jaw drops* Coffee Wolf is definitely on top of his writing game. Meanwhile, I'm poking around half-assing or half-dholing around by starting and stopping my stories. Umm whut ._. That's my fault because I really haven't been doing anything really extremely pressing to stop me from writing. It's just the accomplishment of having submitted a completed story and it looks okay lol

This will be my first time writing about something I have NO IDEA ABOUT: M/M Erotica. Yeah, but it's a challenge and I loooooove a challenge. Again, will need the help of Nighteyes and his boyfriend for editing, but I think I might be able to swing it. If not, I'll always have something I can post on FA for the horny fanboys to drool over ;)

Anyways, there's the plushie...also found a pattern for anthro plushies and as I've already informed the my local furs, one of them is gonna get plushed! Ha! I'm gonna make someone a plushie! It'll be a test plush but I think it will turn out really cute ^.^

Plushies are $30+ shipping and depending on the complexity of your character, the price may increase from there. I might do international shipping depending on how much plushie you're buying.
