I’ve been busy staying with my dad since he had total shoulder replacement surgery. He was feeling really bad yesterday and I stayed with him. He got so dizzy and sick that I called my aunt who was an RN for over 40 years to see what she thinks we should do. She said he needed to go to the ER and we tried loading him in the car but he couldn’t get out of his chair because he was so dizzy and started dry heaving. We had to call the ambulance and they took him to the hospital. The doctors think it was a bad reaction to the pain meds even though he was taking them scarcely so he’s not taking them anymore. He’s at home now and is doing much much better. I’m visiting him now and he’s currently taking a nap while I watch Murder She Wrote. Glad he’s doing ok. He was in a really dark place saying he should’ve been taken while crying which made me cry because I’ve only seen my dad cry three times in my life. Thankfully he’s in a much better mood now.

Ei-ka is one of my favorite artists on here and I haven’t been on because I was busy with life. I came on just now and saw Ei-ka drew Mary Ganja Jane as a thank you for the shinies I sent her! Thank you Ei-Ka for the best surprise! My day just got better!

I went on a hiatus because my seizure headaches came back and I wanted to take a break from screens for a while. I was reading like crazy and finished my 600 page book in three days along with many other books. I also got some puzzles done that I want to frame. Now that my headaches are gone I can finally browse on here.

After getting two commissions of my character I instantly fell in love with her. Now I must draw her.

For years I’ve always wanted to write and illustrate a children’s book. Well, I finally decided to work on my ideas. I’ve always loved cryptids so I was thinking about “A-Z cryptids” and one called “The Moody Manananggal”. I am currently working on the cover of “The Moody Manananggal” and it’s coming out fantastic! I probably won’t post much on here but doodles as this is a big project but I’ll be sure to pop in and see how my fellow hooligans are doing.

My mom recently had her hip replaced last Thursday and I’ve been busy taking care of her. She’s doing fantastic now and not in pain anymore. She’s walking with the cane now and not her walker and can go upstairs to shower now so she feels clean. My husband and I are taking her to her follow up appointment on the 11th and she’s hoping she can stop wearing the Ted stockings on her feet by then (I do too because they’re a bitch to get on. Lol). But she’s been moving a lot and she barely has any swelling now so hoping she doesn’t need to wear them. Before the surgery she was hobbling around in pain now she’s walking with no pain.

I’m down in Florida from Maine and I didn’t bring my journal with me. I was sad then remembered I didn’t bring it because there’s a notebook app on my iPad that I wanted to try and I love it! It’s called Free Notes. Everything is free. I can’t remember if I paid for it or not.

People who add me on discord: for the last time STOP ASKING ME TO COMMISSION YOU! Not only is it rude but it makes me uncomfortable because I feel bad when I tell people no. I really don’t want to make it so you have to ask me for it but if this keeps happening then I’ll have no choice. Don’t ruin it for the good people who want to interact with me in a friendly way. If I want a commission I will find the many artists on here who don’t ask me. Seriously. Knock it off the counter and into the trash.

All the cute YCHs seem to come out when I can’t spend money for a few months. Going to Florida for two weeks with my dad in March and will be financially free in April. For the artists with the cute YCHs: I will probably be the first to favorite the finished product.

Caught my mom’s cold and been miserable for the past few days. Fever, GI upset, upset stomach, vomiting, coughing until I pee myself and congestion. Thankfully now it’s just upset stomach and slight fever. Glad I’m FINALLY feeling better.

My dad and I play D&D a lot and a lot of times we invite his military friends over to play. I texted him asking if he wanted to play Dungeons and Dragons but my stupid autocorrect corrected it to "dunces and dragons" and I didn't know. My dad sent me a picture of a party hat on his head with the word "dunce" writen on it and he said "I'm ready to dunce some dragons." I was really confused and he told me to look at the text. It said "do you want to play dunces and dragons next week with the men?" I'm still laughing.

I’m barely verbal and use a communication system on my iPad. Since last night it was charging extremely slowly and I thought the battery was shot meaning I would lose my only communication device and would have to use the cards. Luckily all I needed to do was restart it and it’s charging fine now. I was going to go full on 2007 Britney Spears.

I dog-sit for my mom when she works her 12 hour shifts and when her dog is over I have to put my cat’s food dish up on my desk in my room because he’s a sinful glutton (kidding/not kidding) and will devour it. Well my cat decided to be a jerk and knock it off my desk shattering the bowl. My nurse who helps me when my family can’t stay with me is just the nicest person. I was apologizing profusely to her for making her work extra and she just laughed and told me that a quick sweep wouldn’t end her life. She said she takes care of patients who can do things and are able bodied but refuse to because they’re just lazy and treat her like their slave. But I actually help her when I can and I treat her like a human so if accidents happen then it’s nothing to get upset about. I showed her the Beavis and Butthead clip where Beavis got hired to help Butthead with things because he claimed he was too disabled and she laughed so hard. She asked if I could send it to her so she could send it to her coworkers and they had a good laugh as well. The morning was a bit frustrating since I didn’t get any good sleep from pain and my cat knocking his bowl off but I’m glad it’s getting better now. Wanted to go to the art store today but I’m so overwhelmed that I think I’m just gonna stay home and do some art since I’m behind on that. My cat is ok and didn’t get cut or eat any glass so that’s also a plus.

(TL;DR at end) I have epilepsy so I can’t be online for a while because screens can cause a seizure so I drop off Earth for a few then return. I’m back and I’m happy because Furaffinity added a feature where you can block minors from viewing your profile! I’ve been weary of engaging with messages from people I didn’t know due to worry they were underage. I never speak with minors because even though I don’t sex chat or roleplay, it’s very inappropriate for a 28 year old woman to be talking to children. I, an adult, have nothing in common with children and they have nothing in common with me. I prefer people to be 21 to have a friendship with me because at 21 you’re legal to smoke, drink and go into clubs. 21 year olds also had enough time to experience what it’s like to be an adult therefore they know adult situations, they have knowledge on what their boundaries are regarding conversation and they usually know how the adult world works. 18 year olds just turned into adults therefore they may be into risky stuff, they may be rebellious because they can do whatever they want without a parent and they don’t have much insight on consequences of their actions. I also like talking about MJ and cocktails and talking about that to adults under 21 is still inappropriate to me because that’s grooming them to try it. I also have a dark and sexual sense of humor and I am uncomfortable talking like that to “new adults”. However, if you’re 18 and we have things in common then I’ll be friends with you. I just won’t talk about MJ or alcohol until you’re 21.

TL;DR: I’m back after taking an epilepsy break, FA made a feature to prevent minors from looking at your profile and I prefer 21 year olds to contact be but will talk to 18 year olds as well.

My latest submission “Amber” was for my best friend who is going through so much at one time and I did a portrait of some of her favorite things (black dresses, black widows and spider webs) to cheer her up some. I showed it to her via messenger and I’m pretty sure I made her cry. She loves it so much that she’s going to print it and hang it up which made me cry. It’s a big cry-a-palooza up in here but in a good way. Lol.

I love drawing other characters while 😶‍🌫️ and I want to draw someone’s character. My art sucks still so it’ll be gift art. Since it’s not a paid commission I’ll get it done when I can so there’s no deadline. I also want to practice for when I do start doing them and once I get used to it I’ll start setting deadlines. I also only do SFW gift art unless I know you personally.

My MS is flaring up today and I'm trying to draw but my hand is too shaky to draw correctly. It got so frustrating that I had to stop.

Omg I posted art on there while in middle school (08-09) and they were so horrible that they all need a redraw. Will be posting those soon. My dad did me so dirty saying they were good! I'm giving him shit right now over text about it and he told me "if I told you they were horrible you would never do art again and that would be a horrible thing because you loved it." I have come a long way since then and my dad has been super supportive throughout the years.

Due to the move I had to take a month off from volunteering (I volunteer for Hospice) and today I was able to go back!! I didn't visit any patients today because my usual patients were now 50 minutes away so I just worked at the office for a few hours. Everyone was happy to see me back and I got a lot of high fives. Lol. My coordinator told me Hopefully he'll be able to arrange new patients that are closer to where I live next week. So excited!!

I haven’t been on much because I’ve been having a hard time with trauma from child abuse. My therapist who I’ve been seeing for years asked me why it has been bothering me so much lately. I told him that I used to do artwork of me as a young child being loved on by people who I considered my safe people. (To elaborate, my safe people are people who I’m comfortable with sharing really personal experiences and thoughts to and they won’t judge me. Also due to my autism and adhd I’m a really weird person and they don’t get mad if I stim loudly by making weird noises, I stim by jerking around or rocking and if I’m getting over stimulated they actually help me and not get mad like my parents do.) he asked me why I stopped doing that and I told him that my mom found my artwork and got upset because she thought it was weird and creepy so I stopped doing it. I would show my safe people these pictures and they thought it was cute and they loved them. Now that I started doing it again I feel so much better and I forgot how soothing and comforting it was. I don’t think I’ll ever post them on this website because I don’t want people to get the wrong idea and I certainly don’t want creeps to sexualize what is supposed to be a calming thing for me. However if I do decide to I’ll make another account but explain that the artwork is supposed to be a coping mechanism for my trauma and I won’t tolerate people sexualizing it.

I purchased a few adopts on here but stupid me forgot to upload them now I can’t find the artists who made them. Should I upload them and ask who made them or is there a better option? I went through my notes and tried doing it that way but the file expired and I couldn’t find them on their pages. I hate uploading art I purchased without knowing who did it because I feel like I’m not giving proper credit.
