So I have decided that adult art is not for me. I’ve commissioned some sexual art by amazing people to see what my taste is. I’ve figured out my taste is just mature rating (nude only) and not actual sex. I will still keep those up here because the artists did phenomenal but I won’t commission any more. I may do adult art very rarely but it will be by me. If you want to do gift art of my characters, nude is ok but please refrain from sex.

My dad, my husband and I were supposed to play cards against humanity today (my dad’s favorite card game) after his golf game today and he was supposed to call me after his game. Usually he doesn’t call until 1 or 2 in the afternoon when he golfs. 3 comes around and I give him a call and he doesn’t answer. So my husband and I went to town today and got home. I looked at the time and it was 8. I sent him a text asking if he was ok and he answers “balls! I slept all afternoon! How about tomorrow at 2?” I decided to be funny and go, “no dad. You have disappointed me and the empire for the last time!” And my dad texts back “NOOOOOOOOOOO!” But I told him 2 was fine and he goes, “good. I feel like Gollum coming out of my cave right now.” And I can relate to that. 😂😂😂

I called him today and he cursed me out in Sith and told me I didn’t call him yesterday so I brought shame to the empire. Then we started quoting The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings throughout our conversations. 😂😂😂

I've been having problems with stomach upset today. I take methylphenidate for my ADHD and it’s the only medication that works, however it kills your appetite after you take it. I can never eat in the morning because when I wake up I always have an upset stomach but I smoke marijuana to get an appetite. Today my stomach felt horrible compared to normal days and my husband and I were celebrating my birthday today (it was yesterday but he had to work) and I took it on an empty stomach because we needed to leave and I don’t like going out in public high. I was randomly gagging all day and when I tried to force myself to eat I threw it back up. My husband bought me a Gatorade to see if that would soothe my stomach and it somewhat did. After our hike I had major heartburn from the stomach acid coming up so we went to Dairy Queen and I got a twist. It soothed my stomach some but I’m still having heartburn as of now. My husband recommended I get something to make smoothies in the morning since it’s pretty much the only thing I can keep down when I wake up. But I have smoked some and it’s helping a lot with the nausea and hopefully I’ll be able to eat a normal meal soon. Stomach pain is the worst.

I’ve been getting nasty messages from people about my “Jundullah” drawing so I wanna make something clear: I did not make that picture for you. One of My caretaker’s did two tours in Afghanistan as an Army medic and he befriended a lot of civilians while over there. One of the civilians recently moved to our state and he was letting him stay in his house while everything gets in place and I’ve already been listening to Nasheeds since I was a kid so he showed me some from Afghanistan. He’s a really cool guy and one of the nicest guys you would ever meet so I drew that picture for him. So for those of you who tell me that I’m supporting terrorism and being a traitor to the USA, you probably never served in the military because my caretaker did and he enjoys nasheeds too. You don’t have to like the picture but you don’t have to share your bs opinions to me since you don’t know what’s going on.

I’m on a four day fishing trip with my dad starting yesterday. I’m staying in a cabin with him, my uncle and two of my dad’s friends for the trip and yesterday was our first trip. My dad caught the first fish which was a trout (keeping it for my mom because she loves trout), I caught a small mouth bass and both of us caught a bunch of chubs. I caught the biggest and the most fish but my dad gets bragging rights for catching the first fish of the season. Today we’re going back fishing at the dam and I’m hoping I can catch more trout for my mom.

My dad: what’s a Twitter?
Me: it’s a social media site and it’s called X now. Do you want to make a Twitter?
My dad: if I make a Twitter will I have to clean up after myself?

I want to get better at digital art but I’m having a hard time with sketching things so I’m willing to commission artists who do just sketches so I can study them better. My husband had a root canal today and we were gone from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. I’m overwhelmed from being constantly stimulated in public and I woke up at 5 am and couldn’t go back to sleep. Just want to scream. We’re finally home now and I’m in my comfy clothes on my iPad looking at art and having coco. My husband is doing terrific now that his tooth is fixed and is no longer in pain. Definitely going to bed early tonight.

Sorry for my absence. My brother came up to visit and I haven’t seen him in two years. It was great!

I got my money for the month today and since I’m home from my Florida vacation I can finally buy more art from you amazing people. I’ll hopefully post my own art too if I ever get motivation.

I started getting into painting again and back when I was doing it I was always looking for junk clothes to wear so if I get paint on them it’s not a big deal. I was talking to my friend a week ago that if he had any old clothes laying around that he couldn’t donate I would gladly take them. Today my friend texted me that the military store he works at made an order error and they got a bunch of XL sweatshirts that they couldn’t sell and he was wondering if I wanted them. I told him yes and he just dropped them off. He also added some of his old shirts and sweat pants that were stained up as well. I tried giving him $40 for gas and the clothes as he traveled 40 minutes to drop them off. He just tells me that I can repay him with a painting commission. Not only did I get a bunch of painting clothes for free, he’s also my first commission. Thank you Erik!

Officially bought the plane tickets this morning! It’s only a week but I got married in October of last year and I wanted my husband to go but unfortunately it was last minute so he couldn’t get time off so I wanted to just stay the week.

I’m looking for any commissioners that use PayPal. Unfortunately Boosty is just not an option anymore after another artist blocked me after Boosty gave me a hard time and I was in the hospital so I couldn’t sort it out with my bank in time. I don’t want to spend over $90. Artistic freedom is what I’m looking for. If you know anyone or you’re someone who is commissioning please let me know!

I’ve recently tried to buy a YCH from a wonderful artist and Boosty wasn’t letting me pay. After an hour of trying to figure out why I found out it’s because my bank stopped the payment because they think it’s fraud 🙄. Unfortunately I now have to wait two hours to call my bank to see if they can resolve this issue. In the mean time I’ll have to stick with PayPal and if I got a ych before I found all this out, I won’t be able to pay until this gets resolved. I’m sorry for the trouble and I do hope this gets fixed soon.

He was peeing in the cat box and I sneezed and he got so scared that he jumped and tipped the box over while he was still peeing. He was laying on his back with a stream of pee coming out. This happened at 6 am too. Cats…🙄

It’s been a week without my ADHD meds because the doctors office likes to drag their feet on filling the prescription to the pharmacy. Been extremely overwhelmed and bored because I can’t focus on anything and everything is pissing me off. I’m gonna have to harass the doctors office tomorrow by calling every 30 minutes until they fill it. It shouldn’t have to be like pulling teeth to get an important prescription refilled. I hate my doctors office.

In the past I tried drawing classes but they go too fast of a pace for me and I feel I don’t learn anything because the instructors teach differently. For a while I just stopped drawing because they’re awful and I feel that I’ll never get better. Now I want to get back to it. For those of you who are self taught how did you do it? Did you follow tutorials online and if so what were the tutorials? I found some cool tutorials on YouTube about colored pencils but most of the videos are a 10 minute video then they want you to pay for their tutorials. Any advice is appreciated.

I don’t like Christmas because it’s just a selfish holiday. I’m on disability and get only $850 a month and I have to pay bills so I can’t really afford gifts plus I don’t know what to give people. One year I got extremely nice cards for my family and wrote really nice things in gold ink because I just didn’t have money and my mom immediately got pissed because I’m selfish by spending my money on myself instead of saving it to buy gifts for people. I didn’t have money because my cat had a vet visit and it was pricey. She also thinks since she gives me gifts I need to get her something even though I tell her to just get me a card. My dad understands my financial situation so he’s happy with a card. Luckily my husband isn’t hard to please and I got him something he’s gonna love even though he said I didn’t need to get him anything. But yeah. Fuck Christmas. People can never be happy with just spending time with family. It always needs to be a gift.

I’m tired because I slept like crap last night and my ADHD medication is preventing me from taking a nap. I despise being tired as I feel like a two year old who skipped a nap, easily irritated and I don’t want to do anything. Plus if I take a nap during the day I feel much worse. Cue adult tantrum in 3…… 2..…. 1…..

Honestly, I have nothing against AI if you use it as a tool to better your art. As in, you’re just getting into digital art and you use AI by putting it in a drawing app and fixing and editing it or you do what I sometimes do and use AI for ideas on my next creation. I only have a problem with it if you post AI art on here and lie saying you drew it when it’s obvious you used AI. AI steals other people’s work and puts it in the image which rubs me the wrong way. If you lie and say you drew an obvious AI image it’s no different than stealing artwork. However, if you admit it’s AI and you openly explain that you fixed and edited it I have no problem with it because artists learn differently. If I need help with artist block I plug random words into AI and see what comes up and use it as inspiration. When people use AI and lie about them creating it, it hurts the art community as well because it’s taking jobs away from really good artists who would be willing to draw your character for you and they lose money they need for food, bills, etc. AI should only be used as a tool. Not a lie. (Sorry for repeating myself, I’m not good at conversing.)

My dad called me and told me this. My dad had an appointment at the VA today to check on his heart and kidney. They called him in and they took his blood pressure and were shocked and told him that they were surprised how good his blood pressure was. My dad was really confused and told them that his blood pressure was always like that. They take him to the exam room and a doctor sat down with him and told him that his condition will get worse over time. He will soon lose his vision and then not be able to walk then it’ll eventually go to his brain. My dad looked at this doctor and goes, “that’s one hell of a way to tell someone they’re going to die.” The doctor then asks if he was [another man’s name]. My dad goes, “no. I’m Alden.” The doctor realized they screwed up and told him he wasn’t the patient they wanted. What happened was my dad’s and this guys social number were similar and they messed up the paperwork.

On a good note, My dad got correctly called in and his heart valve looks brand new and his kidney is doing very well! My dad needed a new heart valve six years ago and he had his kidney removed 15 years ago from cancer.
