General | Posted 10 years agoNew to my Commissions? Here's a handy guide for your troubles!
==CHARACTERS: THE NEW, THE OLD, AND EVERYTHING ELSE!==
-Concerning Characters That Belong to You-
If the character(s) you wish to feature in your commission belong to (or are created by) you as a user, standard commission rules apply. All I need is any references of your character(s) and I'll get right to it!
-This Character Isn't Mine!-
I'm sorry to say that if the character does not belong to you, I will not take the commission. Unless the user that owns said character confirms that yes, they are okay with this, I will not even consider it. The ONLY exceptions to this rule is surprise birthday/holiday art.
-I Don't Have a Ref!-
No refs? No problem. All I need is a detailed description of your character in the form of a note and I will do my best to get it down for you. I will send sketches, line art, and flats (if you are paying for flats or higher) to make sure everything is to your liking.
Need me to create a design for you? I can do that too! Just let me know what you're looking for, send me a color pallet and I'll brainstorm something up for you!
-Can I Commission Stuff of Your Character(s) and Mine?-
Yes! If you want to see any of my characters doing something with one of yours, I would be more than happy to do so. This goes for nsfw pieces as well.
==NSFW CONTENT: NOW THAT'S SOMETHING I CAN FAP TO!==
-I'm not 18, Can I Still get a NSFW Commission?-
No, you may not. I don't care what the legal age is in your country. I am a USA resident and it is illegal for me to sell pornographic content to anyone under the age of 18. This is NON NEGOTIABLE.
-My Kink Isn't On Your 'Will/Will Not Draw' List!-
If the specific kink you are looking for is not on my list, feel free to shoot it my way via notes and I will either approve or deny it. Don't be shy, I don't bite I promise.
All kinks on the 'Will Not Draw' list are NON NEGOTIABLE.
==COLOR PALLETS: GOOD GOLLY THAT'S BRIGHT!==
One thing I want to point out about color pallets, bright or clashing colors are extremely hard on my eyes. This does not mean I won't take them by any means. It does, however, mean that commissions containing bright and/or clashing colors may take a bit longer to complete.
==PAYMENT METHODS: MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND==
-My paypal isn't in USD!-
No problem! Just be sure that your conversion is correct before paying. You can easily double check your conversions through google!
-Can I Pay at a Later Date?-
Sadly no, I do not offer this feature. Amount due must be paid before the commissioned piece is made. No ifs, ands, or buts.
==MISTAKES? YOU MEAN HAPPY ACCIDENTS!==
-Regarding Returns and Changing Fees-
Every commissioner receives WIP shots of the sketch, lines, and flats to be approved or changed. If a commissioner fails to correct any details before the commission is finished, they will be charged change fees. Commissioners have chances to tell me (the artist) if something needs to be changed or fixed. Failure to do so falls on the fault of the commissioner. NO EXCEPTIONS. This is NON NEGOTIABLE.
Returns are NOT an option. If you do not like the commission but refuse to pay changing fees, no refund will be given. NO EXCEPTIONS. NON NEGOTIABLE.
-Complex Designs Policy-
Complex or otherwise "busy" designs do cost extra. There is no set cost for this option. Send a reference of your character my way and I will give you a quote.
==RETURN CUSTOMERS: AS A THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT==
All returning customers will receive a 5% discount on commissions after their first. Discount is not compounded or added based on the number of commissions bought. Discount is locked at 5%. Would anyone be interested?

Trades are not my main priority at the moment. This does not mean I won't do them, it just means that I have more important things to worry about right now. I have debt to pay yet (I still owe a good $70 to one person alone) but I haven't forgotten about the trades I am a part of.
Now with that out of the way I can continue with what this journal is about.
I will be focusing on YCH and commission pieces for the time being until my debts have been paid. YCHs will be both sfw and nsfw and each one will have an auto-buy function as well as auction date. Commissions are still open and priced the same. I will not raise the prices simply because I am in need.

General | Posted 11 years agoJust because this has been a real issue for me as of late and honestly I'm getting really tired of it.
When paying for commissions from me through paypal, please, please, please, send payments as a SERVICE ONLY. This way the money is transferred instantly instead of forcing me to wait 7 days before the payment goes through. It does nothing but cause delays and trouble on my end.
Note also that when paying in any other way other than a service or the "send money to family/friends" option, it takes away a certain amount in tax from the sent amount which in turn hurts my profits.
See, the issue here isn't only a loss of profits and waiting time. When the "goods" option is selected, paypal is expecting me to ship a physical item to the buyer when there is nothing to ship out. This is what caused the waiting times.
I do not like uploading commissions before the payments have gone through, it makes me very uncomfy as i have had people take the art and run, cancelling the payment on me before it goes through.
If you stuck through this all, thank you for reading and please do try to understand.
Reminders
General | Posted 11 years agoJust a small reminder to those that I have trades with that I have not gotten to yet, I will get to you eventually. Right now trades are the least of my worries. I have a lot of debts to pay off and I'm trying to focus on earning what I need to pay it all off. I have no set schedule for when or where I draw. Given that I have some physical health problems (a bad back and some serious joint pain especially in my left shoulder) I can't sit and pump out art piece after art piece. I have to give my body time to rest in between.
All in all, what I'm trying to say is this:
Please be patient with me. If you think I might have forgotten about a trade or a commission, please send me a note to remind me as my memory is not that great. But, keep in mind that I'm not a really fast worker. Not with the conditions I'm currently in.
Thank you to all of you who have supported me thus far. I apologize for not being the most talkative artist around but I do my best to reply to comments and shouts. Sometimes I just don't know what to say.

I won't be home so I'm not sure if I'll have the time to just sit with my tablet and crank out pieces. Financial Situation
While I have about $40 coming my way thanks to YCH Auctions here and on other sites, it still does not get me much closer to paying off my debts. I owe various people about $200 USD altogether and I need to pay it off as soon as possible. My commissions remain open and a promo would be much appreciated to anyone willing to do so.
Aside from my debts, I have a food card now so I can actually get some groceries when I need them. However, anything that isn't food related comes out of pocket (things like toothpaste, toilet paper, soap, etc) and I'm running out of money. I still don't have a solid job because it's still in the dead season for this tiny town.

General Updates and Commission Changes

Things have been more than a bit rough for me lately. I was dumped, lost pretty much everything that was my reason to get out of bed, and a whole bunch of other not so fun stuff. But, I'm back in my home town and I'm starting from scratch again. I'm trying to keep in the positive. I'm also attempting to get more artwork done and show you all what I'm really made of!
I want to thank everyone who has followed me recently and those of you who've been with me since the beginning of this account. My artwork has been going through some drastic changes, I know. However, I see these changes as extremely positive and i hope to keep improving as time goes on. I don't usually get much feedback on my uploads so I don't know what you guys want to see more or less of to be completely honest. So, if anyone has any idea on what they'd like to see more of from me, any input would be much appreciated.
I have started a fursuit savings fund! A bit of money I gain from commissions, my tiny paycheck, and various other sources are being set aside for a partial fursuit of my fursona Ket! Yes you read that correctly, I'm saving for a fursuit. I know it's not top priority right now, but it's something I've always dreamed of having ever since my best buddy introduced me them. I have found a fursuit maker that I feel I can trust with Ket and I have my heart set on buying from them.
Yes, 
I'm talking about you. I love your fursuit work, it's fabulous.
As far as other updates go, I will keep you guys posted on any changes that happen!
COMMISSION INFO SECTION
Commission prices have been revamped! I've been thinking about creating a nice "Commission Price Sheet" but I'm not only terrible with those, but I haven't gotten enough commissions to even make one with. I am currently running a NSFW YCH auction that can be found in my gallery.
Reminder that commissions remain open until I feel like I have enough on my plate. And yes, I will be holding a "Black Friday Commission Sale" when the time comes as well as a "Holiday Season Sale" around Christmas and New Years.

Commissions Currently Under Construction!
General | Posted 11 years agoSince I am still borrowing my bud's old laptop and I managed to get my tablet and SAI working on it, I am debating on starting up commissions and trade again. However, I would be only be taking trades from artist around the same level as me. I know that sounds cynical but I have my reasons. Also, money gained from commissions will be sent to my kissmate's paypal since I do not have a bank account as of yet. My profits will be closely kept track of by yours truly and will be transferred to my account once I have it working.

General | Posted 11 years agoFirst off I'd like to apologize for my lack of activity here on fur affinity. I've been beyond busy lately with online classes, moving out of my parent's place, taking care of my kitten Cecil, and applying for jobs. I'm off to a rough start but I'm managing.
Onto the next topic. I no longer have a working cellphone or computer. Since I moved out of my dad's place, he is no longer paying for my cellphone. In turn, I lack a job at the moment I have no way of paying for the monthly bill. On the note of the computer, my personal laptop finally called it quits on me last week Wednesday. I don't have the money to take it in to get fixed but I do have a bud that can try to fix it for me. However, if he can't salvage it, I'll be saving up for a new computer.
I hope I can get things in order fir this weekend as well. This weekend of June 21st is Jafax weekend. I've been planning on attending the convention since January and I'm currently working on finding a ride down there. So far I have no luck.
In any case, I felt this update was needed. I don't like keeping people in the dark about what's going on, especially if it means I won't be able to post regular updates.
