New arrivals
Posted 2 years agoMy friends and I have reconnected. Therefore I have gotten a little art mojo back.
My arthritis is not great, and my anxiety sucks, but I'm really pleased with the fact I got something done.

Hello again new friends
Posted 2 years agoI have been busy, and have settled into a job. Brownie and Prof. Krowley are doing better as well.
I have been drawing in some downtime but nothing serious. I just feel somewhat...stuck in a way, as though I need to become unstuck in order to keep going forward. The good news is that progress is happening, though slow.
I need a calm period in my life and I have finally come to terms with what that entails: flexible routines but sticking to core commitments, and staying away from some people.
I had the bad habit of attracting the attention of the worst kind growing up. I was used to living in it so I didn't realize how bad things were sometimes. It was only when I looked back I realized what happened.
I also developed some bad habits from growing up in it, a mean streak mainly. I do cope though through healthier outlets now, and Brownie keeps me grounded and in reality.
I see a lot of digital art, it's really cool and makes me want to give it more time. I'm currently using .y phone for art, I've considered upgrading to a tablet or something more suited for art. I'd love any recommendations.
Have to go now. Have a great day.

Welcome to my dumpster
Posted 2 years agoHey there new friends.
I am happy to be here. I have debated on sharing artwork, as I spent many years comparing myself to others in an unhealthy way. As time passed I realized what once had been a passion had become a burden bc of self consciousness. I walked away. Now I am taking tentative steps to motivate myself to create again.
So I made a few sketches, created an account, and hear I am.
I am a simple little gryphon, living in a dumpster in the woods. It was empty when I found it, so I cleaned it up, and made it my home, it's quite cozy! Every once in awhile I'll find cool things and collect them. Lately I've been finding neat rocks with numbers on them. The farmer's tabby, who lives a few hills over, says they're dice, but I'm not sure what those are. He said he would find me a manual on how to use them.
I have no idea how little rocks need a user's manual, but we will see.
Anyway, look forward to making new friends.
