Posted a year agoSlight and small changes, none bad, all good. For me at least.
Finally decided to leave Deviant"Art" as a place where I post artwork. Various factors made this choice easy for me, but recent ones kind of sealed the deal.
20 years I was on the platform.. and after 20 years of just watching DA turn into what it is today.. it was just.. time to let go.
Tired of the scam bots, tired of the AI images posing as "art", tired of of the lack of user accessibility after Eclipse.
16 years and going still here on FA. (16 if you count my original account. Never left~)

As of last night, I am now officially set up with a BRAND NEW PC!!!
This was so long overdue to replace the hunk of junk I'd been using for the past six years!
For six years, I was stuck using this hand-me-down frankenstein of a PC (named Steve) that, for a while, it worked well enough. Then came the crashes. Random restarts, blue AND eventually red screens, major performance issues, lag on EVERYTHING I did.. be it a game (even simple ones), browsing the net, opening system menus, using my art program, everything. Any time I wanted to work on art, it was a constant stress as I would never know when it would just die or restart without warning. Every pen stroke was followed up with a save. So many art projects lost and so much motivation to actually create.. snuffed out. Steve literally killed any and all motivation to continue doing anything long term.
I worked hard. Saved my money from my current job, and took the leap to buy a whole new rig!
This thing is a BEAST! And yes, it's custom built and NOT a pre-fab PC!
I'm so happy to finally be able to enjoy my library of games, to be able to create artwork without worry of losing it, to not be stressed about the if or when the crashes will happen.
So yeah! That's my big news!
Money well freakin spent!!

Commissions Opening soon!

Plans for commissions to open November!I am both scared and excited to finally be able to open my commissions!
I would have opened them this month, but I decided to tackle the "Kinktober" art prompt again this year.
For me, it's more of a personal challenge to produce art each day and hopefully NOT lose steam/motivation this time. At least, that's the plan.
What to expect for NovemberCommissions will indeed be opened very early November. Planning for the first week after a few days break of making stuff back to back during October. It’ll be a much needed down time to just sit back and reflect on all I’ve produced and consider what I can/will do as far as commissions go.
My To-Do list is long… hoo boy!
Commissions will be taken two at a time - This way I do not overwhelm myself.
Both commissions will be finished before I take on any more - That way I don’t subconsciously sideline one for the other… I have a bad habit of that.
Working on competition speed - I struggle here, thus making my turn-over rate seem super slow. Plus, my PC isn’t exactly friendly and tends to shut down/restart on me, costing me precious time and sometimes loss of progress.
Working on backgrounds - Another thing I struggle with… I haven’t quite gotten the knack for digital painting or complex background making. That forte falls into physical paint/canvas.
Upcoming TOS/Price list Update - Keep an eye out! It’s something that needs to be done and will be added soon!
That’s all I can think about for now.

Last night, my pc fried. It was completely unexpected.
For a while, my pc had been giving me a lot of trouble by way of random restarts. Screen would go dark, audio would cut or stutter out, and it would restart... in that order. I though thats what it was doing this time.. but to my dismay, it didn't turn back on. After a moment of waiting, there was a pop and flash of light from the tower, followed by an electrical burning smell.
Great way to start the week!
Last night, my pc fried. It was completely unexpected.
For a while, my pc had been giving me a lot of trouble by way of random restarts. Screen would go dark, audio would cut or stutter out, and it would restart... in that order. I though thats what it was doing this time.. but to my dismay, it didn't turn back on. I know I've mentioned opening commissions a while back, and it has been a long while since then... but I'm here to say that its going to be a long while from now until I finally do. Sorry.
Reason being is my PC has an issue.. a BIG issue. Occasionally, and without warning, the PC will restart itself. Black screen, loss of audio, and restart. This seems to really only happen at either first start-up or when I'm using my art tablet with my program. At first, we suspected perhaps it was the power supply.. or even hardware not being compatible.. but there is a chance it could also be my BIOS being out of date too. However, my motherboard is such an old model, the chancing an update may not even work.. or worse case scenario, mess up my PC for good. So, until I get a new PC for myself, commissions are closed until further notice.
This also means Art streams will also not be happening until further notice either.
Note.. my PC doesn't do this while running games. Only when I'm working on art.
So, yep. Sorry folks.
I'll still work on and post art when I can. ^_^

I am officially pulling away completely from DeviantART and making my FA my official & full-time gallery!
Reason being is DA's newest format is utter garbage!
When I heard the news that they were switching permanently to Eclipse with no way to switch back to Classic, I had decided to completely drop DA as a gallery... after 15+ years of being a member there. It was a hard choice to make, yes... but FA's a much better place when it comes to an art gallery. They're new set up works, its not hard to navigate, and it just loads so much better! So, any and all new art will be posted here from now on.
On an additional note, I will be dropping the other account I have on here I was setting up for my just NSFW gallery. Too much work, and I don't make that much as it is. So, it'd be silly to run to galleries. Everything will be on this account once again.

Time for a serious entry...

So, had something rather disheartening happen last night and I wanted to make something very clear to all who watch my gallery(s). A topic I'm certain I've touched before.. but I feel it needs to happen again to avoid any slandering of my name.
I will not drop names of anyone/anywhere.
First, the reason for this entry.
A discord I was recently a member of, a large gaming/furry community, had proven to be just as toxic as any other. I had watched the owners rip into people for the smallest things, belittle them, passive aggressively attack them indirectly... and directly. And it wasn't just the owners.. a few of their staff would chime in, making some of the younger members feel awful about making the smallest mistakes to the point they would just leave.
Opinions were never allowed if they dared to conflict with one of the owners, and she would go to great lengths to make sure they knew how bad they fucked up in her eyes. It was such an awful thing to witness and experience.
As of yesterday, myself and several others took our leave after just a terrible attack on a younger artist...we just couldn't take the drama anymore. After my leave, I was informed that that very owner took it upon herself to drag my name through the mud with a lie. A lie that has also caused once friends to remove and block me. A lie that made me look to be an absolute horrible person. I honestly couldn't believe what I had read...
She created a lie based on her mishearing what was said during a group voice call, where several people were talking at once. I had heard her in the background and ask why she wouldn't joined voice with us. What SHE heard, was me making fun of her for having a manly voice. So, instead of clearing that up, she believed herself, and thus created a lie that I am "privileged and insensitive" against those of the LGBTQ+ community. Those of you who have known me for so long know that is not, nor has ever, been who I am. I have always supported the LGTBQ+ community, have several friends who are part of it, and would never make fun of, or jest about anyone for their life choices. That is NOT how I was raised!
It pains me so much that I am once again going through this over a misunderstanding.. that someone, who is power hungry, uses her status to bully people and ban them on a whim if they even so much as have a different opinion, would stoop so low as to create a lie to use a "victim card" against someone like me. This is now the second time I have had to deal with this.. the second time I've had to defend myself.. and the second time I've had to explain my standing with people in general.
So, once again... I don't care where you come from, what you identify as, what your gender is, what your sexuality is, what your skin color is.. I don't care about any of that! Respect is earned, not given. I do my best to make friends with anyone and everyone, I do my best to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, I do my best to treat others as I want them to treat me... just as I was raised to do.
I will NEVER belittle someone, or make fun of anyone for their life choices.
Its wrong and uncalled for.
and above all else... its childish.
Sorry for the rant guys.. but I needed to get that off my chest.
I love you all!

I have been working to set up various things to get my commissions rolling once I open them. This includes a proper price list, terms of service and an FAQ. I also have my Ko-Fi up and ready as well!
Commissions, once open, will be taken through my Ko-Fi.

With everything thats been going on with a new job, focus being on various games, and just overall been enjoying life..
I lost sight of actually buckling down and opening commissions!
I do plan to open them eventually, just I've been getting distracted with some many different things!
My wonderful boyfriend has been incredibly supportive and trying his best to keep me focus on tasks, poking me about art and even helping me get other things in my life in order. Mostly health related.

Today I found out that someone is going around and telling people that I'm an art thief.
This is pretty sad because I have never, in my life, have ever stolen art from anyone. I may reference poses... REFERENCE.. but I don't trace, recolor, or take and repost someones work to claim it as mine. I know what it's like to have my work stolen... its not fun and its very very stressful.
So for someone go around and claim I'm an art thief is very frustrating.
The reason for this? Oh lord.. where should I begin?
This person had commissioned me for an art piece, paying me literally $4 in DeviantART points and expected a $45 commission. Two characters and nsfw. I cannot use DA points for anything in the real world and those who paid me real money will always get priority. He was told this and he claimed he under stood.
He then began to relentlessly harass me to the point where I got fed up and refunded him the DA points. That started this whole bullshit.
Second... he got his panties in a tight wad over freakin RolePlay characters! I mean.. seriously. Over Rp characters?
I don't want to delve into that because it will seriously make your heads hurt. In short, he didn't get his way, he blamed me even though it was my friend's choice, and he lost it.
*So, if you ever seen anyone speaking ill of me, saying I'm a thief and such, its because I refunded him and he got butthurt over a roleplay character.
*I would never and cold never steal art from anyone.
*People have SEEN me create art from start to finish many times during my live streams and none of it was anyone's art but my own.
