A Few Badge Examples Needed and Birthday Contest, Grab Bags
Posted 12 years agoOk I wanna make a couple of badge examples because I am going to try REALLY hard to continue to make these all summer.
I dont know how much they will be just yet. but they will be really cool.... Im kind of going off some ive seen... although not completely coping them... and then a couple of my own.
So I am going to need I think maybe 3 people for this. Its NOT first come first served i will choose who I want to use for this.
Here are the badge styles I am going to try to do.
1. Scrapbook Badge
2. Gamer Badge
3. Pop Can Badges (Your character with you fave canned drink)
What I need from you for this:
-Your Ref (Has to be color ref, No descriptions, I will not work off of them, NO EXCEPTIONS! SORRY!)
- You need to be watching me.
- Make a journal linking back to this journal.
- Pick which badge you would like and if I pick you thats the one you will get
- Your address if I pick you.

Recent Storms
Posted 12 years agoFirst off Kimmy im sorry i didnt get to stick around your stream longer lol we had to get stuff packed incase we had to leave...
so we got a call at midnight saying that my parents were coming to get us and that everyone else was already in the cellar.... we should have left sooner because by the time we actually got to my grandparents house it was pretty much over with.
we never got any hail and no one lost power, but the wind blew so hard and the rain flooded our road, driveway and grague....
the school is also out because it too got flooded.... lol
also on another note something very very bad has happened to one of my dads good friends.
monday me and my husband were going to my cousins so she could fix my hair... and my dad called asking if we were ok. apperently they had heard sirens and there was a bad accident somewhere and he wanted to make sure it wasnt us...
well we were at my cousins for maybe an hour when we got a call from my grandmother saying that my mom and dad would be gone for awhile they were on their way to the hospital because my dads friend was ran over by his semi truck...
yes he was literaly ran over by his semi truck.... he is alive but suffers a massive head wound where he hit the transmission, a broken hip bone, his right leg not only had the bone sticking out of his ankle but also has four other massive fractures and his right arm got all tore up where it drug him about 400 yards down their driveway.
yesterday was his 51st birthday...... hes in intensive care and will have to learn how to walk all over again...
the good thing is that he is alive and was awake when they life flighted him to st johns.
please keep him in your thoughts because they need all the help they can get...

Also I went to the ER today and I apparently have a bladder infection. and UTI infection, TMJ in my Jaw, and Gastronitous, so im on antibotics, pain killers, Zofran for Nausea and ibprofren for my head and jaw

YCH Chess Set

I wanna make a Chess Set and I thought it would be nice to let people join in on this... Im doing this to kind of pass time since I dont have my Sewing Machine to work on hoodies at the moment..
So heres what I would like to do.
This will be one of my BIGGEST projects for my shop to date.
It will be used as a display ONLY and will NOT be for sale, because im not selling it if it has random peoples characters on/in it.
This will be set up at cons when we have our table set up so if you are one of the people with a character on it feel free to come by and look. (It will be at every con we go to)
There will only be one set of these. Im not making anymore like this one. But if youd like a Chess Set of your own I can make them... it will take a while, but I can do it anyway you want, but this will be the only one with peoples characters.
Heres how its going to go.
It will be COMPLETELY made out of clay (This means the board and everything will be clay) and hand painted.
This is going to take time. I will be working on the pieces first. the board will come later.
(Keep in mind I will be doing my Comic and Trades/Commissions in between this as wall as this)
There are going to be 32 slots open for this and a few are limited.
This is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, because I will start work A.S.A.P.
Ok heres the rules and what I need from you as well as the slots that are open and the prices:

Ok Time for a Little Side Project

And thought hey I should let people be involoved in this.
This is only a one time deal for now though because I wanna see how it turns out.
Im wanting to make a chess set, but kind of a more YCH kind of thing so everyone can join in.
Im going to make the WHOLE thing entirely out of clay and it will be all hand painted... so not only will it help my sculpting skills it will also help my painting and detail skills.
Before I post any info on it I wanna know if anyone would be interested in that sort of thing. And it will NOT be sold as it will just be a display for my shop at Cons.
And thought hey I should let people be involoved in this.

Update On My Son
Posted 12 years agoOk for those of you that know and those of you that dont, my son (who is currently 13 months old) has surgery on his eye yesterday.
Heres and explanation as to why:
His tear duct in his left eye is clogged and its apparently pretty bad at that.
So the surgery didnt take long and he is ok, but the dr ran into a BIG problem... normally when you put just a little pressure on it when doing surgery to open it up it will pop... It didnt... in fact he hit something rather solid in the spot he was trying to open....
We will know in a week if it worked but you could just tell by the way the dr talked it more or less likely didnt.
What does this mean?
It means that if it didnt we will be going to see a specialist in OKC (Oklahoma City) who will go in and break the part thats causing the problem and put a heart stint in it to open it up.
