I have no idea where to get that kind of money, especially in a short time. I can take out a bank loan, but the maximum loan is only about $500, and it would also need to be repaid within a few months.

I don't know what to say - life for the past 5 months has been nothing but expenses on doctors, medication, immunomodulators, and trips to appointments.
