Posted 7 months agoDespite rumors, I am very much still alive lol New job is just kicking my butt is all, but things finally seem to be settling in, so thats nice.
Anywho, I was wondering if anyone knows of some fursuit makers that are willing to take on custom fursuit heads? I'm looking to get one done up of my sona, and so far I've had no luck on finding anyone open, willing, or within my budget.
At this very moment, my budget is around $600 USD, but once my tax return gets in, that'll bump up to around $1400 MAX (not including shipping costs)
If any of y'all knows of anyone, especially if they semi-toony or toony styles, lemme know!

Help with major rust repair on Jeep
Posted 2 years agoHey guys, I hate making journals like this, but I've run into a pretty nasty snag recently.
So, for those of who dont know, I live in the North East of the US. Specifically south central PA, not far from the state capital. Its in a little area known as "The Rust Belt". And the reason for this is well...
Shit rusts. A LOT. EVERYTHING.
Anything metal, tends to rust really badly. Especially cars, due to the heavy usage of road salt during the winter.
This brings me to the issue I've run into. My personal vehicle, an old early 00s Jeep Grand Cherokee, a vehicle I've put so much love into trying to maintain, fix, upgrade, and basically just keep alive, is in serious need of rust repair in order to pass my state's annual inspection. (its actually currently over due as of writing this, and has already failed the first inspection, where I found out about the rust issue)
It also happens to be my only means of transport.
Now, I've already had an autobody shop look at it and give me an estimate. What they've found is I need a new gas tank Skid Plate, EVAP bracket, and both rocker panels need to be fixed. In total, the cost would be close to $7000 worth of repair work, with the rocker panels being the most labor intensive part.

And I know what y'all are thinking. "Just buy a new car!" Well, I've already looked into that, and unfortunately, thats just not an option either. For one reason, I prefer older vehicles, due to being able to work on them myself, and save money, and 2, anything new, even a used vehicle of a similar year, is going to cost the same, if not more, and most likely be in this same situation. So personally I think its smarter to simply put the money into my current one.
The problem I've run into is that I just dont have the funds to afford the entire repair. I *should* technically have enough to cover the skid plate and EVAP bracket, but the rocker panels are way out of reach for me. I just haven't been making enough to even think of affording something like that. Thats one of the reasons why I haven't really posted new art in a while. I just... haven't commissioned anything new. In fact I've cut back on a LOT of stuff in my life. Dropped most subscriptions to various things, cut way back on the amount of food I buy, as well as stopped buying things that aren't basic essentials, all to try and save what little money I do have coming in.
All of this, is to say, I need help. A lot of help. I know everyone is in a hard spot themselves atm, so I dont blame you or anything if you simply cannot afford to help at all. In fact, I would prefer you dont, if you feel you're not in a position to help. If it means being able to eat, or help some random dumb furry on the internet, I'd rather you eat. :)
But, if you are able and willing to help, anything, even a dollar, would go a long way to helping. This vehicle is my link to the outside world. My only means of transport to and from work, the store, my family, etc. Losing the ability to drive it, would essentially mean losing my ability to earn money. To visit family. To even buy food. (grocery delivery is stupidly expensive in my area so its not really an option.
Even just sharing or boosting this journal, would mean the world to me. I'm basically at my wits end. I'm going to be wiping out my entire savings and maxing out my credit card, only to be able to afford half the needed repairs. And that also includes possibly being late with my rent, or even missing it entirely.

Posted 2 years agoI'm y'all have been wondering where I've been the last few months huh? Well, contrary to popular belief, I have not kicked the bucket! Not yet anyway lol
Tho life sure has been trying its hardest...
Anyway, where have I been? Well, mostly just working my butt off, trying to cover bills like rent, food, internet, gas, etc, and I've been hanging on decently well so far. Had to cut back on a lot of stuff tho, which includes commissioning art, which is why I haven't really been posting. Aside from a couple of older works that I just haven't gotten around to posting yet, I haven't gotten anything new. I've been skating by decently well since cutting back on spending, but its definitely been stressful for sure...
Sadly that brings me to my main reason for making this journal... my work has been greatly slowing down, which my income has fallen even further, and I'm now having to take off this week cause there is a possibility I may have gotten covid over the weekend. I'm not worried about the being sick part, as I have a fairly strong immune system plus having had covid last november, plus having had the shots, etc, its more so being out of work for a few days thats got me worried... '
Anyway, this all means that I'm probably gonna be short on rent this month by about $200... thankfully its not much, and given that I've never missed a payment for the entire 4 years I've lived here, I doubt I'll be evicted for being short one time... however, if anyone is willing and able to help this leggy boi keep his fox den, I wouldn't say no...
But PLEASE only do so if you're able to! I dont want anyone to spend anything if you're tight on bills as well! Times are tough right now, and the last thing I want anyone to do is put themselves in a tougher situation. So please, if you dont have anything to spare, please dont feel like you're obligated to help! I'd much rather you be able have food instead. :)
However, if you do have a little to spare, even just a single dollar, I would be so happy. And to make it sweeter, if you donate to help, I'll not only try to pay you back in full within the next two or three months, BUT I'll also put you on the short list for a joint commission with one of my characters whenever I'm more financially stable and able to commission art again. Its the very least I can do <3

Just either block the user, or report them! Simple as that! These hackers use those links to continue to steal user's accounts, and then use your account to get more users. Its a nasty, never ending cycle that can only be broken by not giving them what they want!

Basically, y'all are totally free to repost any of the art you see on any of my profiles to e621, so long as proper credit is given to both the original artists, myself, and any characters owned by others that are in said picture! As well as getting proper permission from said character owners and artists!
Just figured I'd let everyone know, and let this journal be an "official" permission for my stuff! ^-^

Oh also, tomorrow I'm heading down to South Carolina for my mom's birthday, and I wont have my laptop with me most likely, so if you need to reach me for any reason, it'll probably take me until late sunday to see it, seeing as I wont be back home until then.

Posted 4 years agoSeems mother nature decided to shit on us yet again this year, and dump a shitton of snow on the north east! So that means roads are gonna be slick, and that means its gonna be pretty nasty to drive on.
As a truck driver who knows how dangerous it can be to drive in conditions like this, I urge all of my north eastern friends, especially in the PA and New Jersey/Delaware areas, to stay home if you dont have to go out. And even possibly call in sick if you need to. Hopefully the roads will be better later on today, but considering its supposed to keep snowing all day and into tomorrow, its gonna take a while.
So yeah! Stay warm, stay dry, and stay safe!
Also also, since I'm actually going to be home today instead of on the road like originally planned, I'm gonna be posting a new piece artwork some time today! So keep a look out for it! Its pretty spicey! ;D
Anyway, thats all for now! Stay fluffy my friends ~

First off, I know I hit 500 watchers on my Inkbunny a little while back, and I was actually planning on doing something special because of it, but due to sudden issues (read below) that kinda... well... didn't happen... But thank you to EVERYONE who got me to this point! Y'all are amazing and I love each and every one of you fluffers from the bottom of my heart <3
Anyway, as most of you know, around thanksgiving I was exposed to someone that was confirmed to have covid, not once, but twice within just a couple days. Now, due to the CDC's guidelines, I had to take off of work for at minimum 2 weeks (this was right before they changed that guideline, go figure lol) and therefor missed a lot of work...
Good news is, I dont have covid! Tests came back negative and so I was thankfully able to get back to work... right before the holidays,when my company takes a lot of time off, meaning less work for me. This is great, in that I get to go home for the holidays, which tbh, is badly needed seeing as my stress levels lately have been through the roof.
The bad news is, I've missed a SHITTON of work because of all of this stuff. And I wont be getting a full week of work until about the second week of January. Sadly, being an adult means I still have bills to pay... I've been managing so far, but its getting to the point again that I might end up missing rent next month... which of course, is driving my stress through the roof again! Its like a never ending, self defeating cycle lmao
Anyway, I hate asking for help again, especially after all the help I received last time which was AMAZING (again, thank you to those who shared, donated, or simply just sent in well wishes or kept me in their prayers, you guys and gals rock!)
But, I feel I need to ask again... I dont know where else to turn, my parents cant help because they have their own issues, I've tried looking into maybe some loans, but that would just shift the dept to another source which wouldn't actually be fixing the issue, and afaik, theres nothing even my work can do to help. No payday advances due to the nature of how they handle pay stuff.
As of right now, I'm more than $2k in dept, nearly at my credit card limit, have barely $15 to my name, and rent is due at the beginning of January... So you can see where the stress is coming from lol
So yeah, any help at all, even just sharing this journal so more people can see it, would be amazingly helpful. And I WILL pay everyone back once I start earning my normal pay again in the new year. (and if you dont want to be paid back in money, maybe we can work out an art deal or something instead) I even have a gofundme as well which I'll link below if you want to donate that way!

However, I'm actually thinking of unlaunching my page until I can start art up again, because patreon, in their oh so clever ways, neglected to allow us to actually pause our pages for longer than a month. Which means I have to constantly remember to go back and repause it every flipping month. So yeah, what do you fluffers think?

So dont expect to much new art until probably March or even April at this rate. Possibly even later is 2021 wants to screw us even harder than 2020 did lol
I do have one piece of art that was purchased a while ago that I'm still waiting on, but after that one is finished, there wont be any art for a while. Hope you guys understand.
Speaking of art! As some of you may know, I actually have a patreon page! Its uh... not been doing so hot really, and due to the lack of art, I've been constantly putting it on hold. However, I'm actually thinking of unlaunching my page until I can start art up again, because patreon, in their oh so clever ways, neglected to allow us to actually pause our pages for longer than a month. Which means I have to constantly remember to go back and repause it every flipping month. So yeah, what do you fluffers think?

Possible covid
Posted 5 years agoSo uh... yeah. Going to be getting a covid test today, as about a week ago I was exposed not once, but twice to someone who is confirmed to have covid... the second time we were in contact we took all precautions to avoid unneeded contact, but the first time... we didn't.... cause he didn't know he had covid at that point, so theres a chance I might now have it. =/
Hopefully the fact I'm not showing any symptoms is a good sign, but I'm taking a test anyway to be on the safe side, especially since my job as a trucker causes me to come into contact with quite a few people every day.
So yeah! Wish me luck! I'll update you foxy furballs as soon as I get my results back <3

I need help
Posted 5 years agoSo... this is the first time, and hopefully the very last time I ever do this. I HATE having to do this, because to me, it means I've failed at what should be a very basic thing for an adult. In fact I hate doing this so much I've been debating on posting this for the past few hours now...
I'm sure y'all have noticed that art has slowed down a lot recently. I've stopped posting, because I've stopped buying new art. (I only have one piece still in the works, but it was paid for a while ago) Theres a reason for this slow down...
Essentially... I need help... I owe about $2000 USD to my bank's credit card. And due to several nasty things happening all at once, its getting to the point where I might not be able to pay rent next month, let alone utilities and even food. I'm already cutting way back on my food budget, (which is honestly not too big a deal since I need lose weight anyway lol) but as for rent, power, and gas for my car, its getting rather tight.
As for what happened well... a few things. First big thing that fucked everything up was having to have my car repaired in early september so it could be inspected and made legal again (I had gone a year without doing so due to not having the funds for it). Sadly it needed 4 new tires, a new valve stem for one of those wheels, a new brake light, and a couple other small things, that all added up to a little over $850 USD. Now, by itself that wouldn't have been that big of a deal. But it was just the start.
Some of you might know that I'm a truck driver. I drive big semis all over the eastern half of the US. I'm on the road for long periods of time, ect ect. What this means is that my primary method of making an income relies heavily on having a working truck and being able to work every day, hauling freight.
Queue a couple weeks ago. My truck sprung a massive oil leak and I had to take it into the shop for repairs. Now, my company mostly covers major repairs since its a company truck, but there were other things that needed done to the truck that they didn't cover. Queue another $300 expense I was not ready for. However, again this wouldn't have been an issue had the shop done the repairs quickly. Sadly they took almost a week and a fucking half to fix the god damn issue. So I was without my main source of income for that long. Which means 0 income, with a huge credit card bill, rent, utilities, food, and other stuff still having to be paid. PLUS the fact that with this covid bullshit, my particular skill set of trucking (flatbed hauling mostly construction related stuff) was effected, meaning less loads, worse paying loads, and generally just bad shit all around.
Now with the holidays coming up, which means having to deal with my company not actually working on several of the days, (which means I'm off those days without income) and winter being a general slow down in construction related freight, I'm at my wits end...
So... I'm asking for help. Any help. Even if its just linking this journal as a heads up for other people to see. I dont have much of anything to give in return, except for eventually paying everyone back (which if thats what you want, I will 100% do without hesitation!) The only other thing I can offer is getting art with yourself and my own characters of your choosing (your part being free of course!) But yeah, any help would be beyond appreciated.
I cant tell you how hard it is for me to swallow my pride to ask, but yeah, here it is. If you want receipts I can try to dig those up as well... but yeah, thats about it...

Posted 5 years agoHey everyone! Long time no see huh! I should probably have made this journal weeks ago but... yeah, I'm lazy as fuck. ='D
Anyway! So contrary to popular belief, I am not dead! (I doubt anyone believed that though... right?) But I figured I owed you all a major update on whats going on, and possibly future plans regarding this account, and my patreon/subscribestar/ko-fi stuff.
First off, I am not going anywhere! I actually have several new pieces of art in the works that are paid for, they're just being worked on atm. I also am in talks with another artist regards to designing a new character. (more details on that stuff later)
Secondly, where have I been for the past few weeks/months/eons? Well, working basically! My current job demands a LOT of my time, and its something that prevents me from being online for most of the day. However, I do still check in on all of my accounts, read messages, ect every night, so if you leave a comment, I've most definitally read it, even if I dont reply to you. I'm not ignoring you, I sometimes just forget to reply, or cant really think of a proper respone, but I do VERY much appreciate and love every single comment you guys leave for me <3
Third, my patreon/ko-fi/subscribestar stuff. Atm, I'm actually going to be putting that stuff on hold. If you're a member of my patreon, you've probably already noticed I've put payments on hold. Mostly its because there was a slow down on new art getting posted there, and I felt bad for taking y'all money and not getting anything in return. So yeah! For the moment, and the forseable future, I'll be keeping my patreon on hold until I can get a more stable schedule for posting stuff. However, you're still more than welcome to join them if you wish to do so! :)
And finally, I want to wish everyone a very happy weekend. Stay safe, wash your pawbs, and drink plenty of water! ^-^Now, since its past midnight for me, I'ma go pass out! Later! ='D *keels over from exhaustion*

Got two more weeks worth of my CDL course to get through, and then if/when I pass my tests and get my CDL, I'll be finally making some good cash to put towards new art!
So yeah! Just a quick update to let you all know I'm not dead, and that art will be happening soon-ish! ^-^

Big move tomorrow + art updates
Posted 6 years agoHey fluffies, just wanted to let y'all know I'm probably gonna be a bit quiet on the art front, and update front for possibly the next few weeks. Moving to a new place tomorrow (still going through and packing even now) and then my CDL classes start on the 8th, and those will eat up a lot of my time.
So dont worry if I become pretty quiet for the month or two! I'm perfectly ok, just STUPIDLY busy lol
However, I do have plans for at LEAST one piece of art sometime in July. Maybe two if I can manage the funds. (you can help by joining my patreon or subcribstar winkwink nudgenudge ;D )
But, after the classes are finished, and based on whether or not I've passed them (it is a possibility afterall) I'll hopefully have a really good paying job, which means plenty more art! I wanna aim for at least 4 pictures a month, maybe more once the paychecks start rolling in lol I also have some pretty big projects I wanna start, like an ongoing comic, some big pieces with SherriMayim again (she has some fantastic ideas we wanna get done) and maybe even some more animations. =3
So yeah! Quick little update for everyone! And also! A MASSIVE HUGE ULTRA SUPER BIG HUG for all the new watchers I've been getting recently! You all are amazing, wonderful, sweet, and I love every single one of you, new watchers or old! Got blocked for no reason?
Posted 6 years agoSo, I went to go favorite someone's picture they just uploaded, only to find out I was blocked by them at some point. Funny thing is, I dont ever remember talking with said person, or having any type of interaction with them, other than watching them and faving another piece of art from them a while ago.
I dont know what happened... I feel really saddened and rather upset about this, especially since they didn't even try contacting me to talk to me about how I might have slighted them... =C
They have really cute characters, and I'd love to fav their stuff...
If the person who blocked me is reading this, can you please PM me so we can talk this out? Whatever it is I did, I'd like to try and make emends. Please? ;n;
