Wow, I'm trash. Pfft. I should upload something soon. For those who don't know here are a few things that happened during 2023! (( You might get why I didn't post anything... ))

Well... I went to Pensacon 2023. It was a lot of fun but not enough to drop that much money again. Parking was trash.. our car got a massive scratch on it since someone didn't know how to park. Thnx. We even had VIP parking but the sign was just some printed out text on some cardstock. So fancy. Still had to park with everyone else... in the gravel a block and a half away from the con. Which really was fine. Just annoyed with the scratch. Con floor was super crowded. Like you're being shoved all over the place and you can't really just stop and look at a booth. Gotta keep moving until you find a weird time where people aren't moving. Still managed to buy a few gifts for people. In total I liked 4 booths. A booth that had books, a booth that had adorable dragon art, metal wall decor booth, and is that a cat on everything booth? The only place you could properly take pictures of people was outside because there was more room to breath. Only the Florida heat wouldn't allow for that very long. Major respect to every fursuiter I saw that year.
Next up... intense pain in my leg. Waited for my doctor's referral and well... that never happened. So instead I personally looked up who were my in network doctors were and became an out patient. Had surgery that summer. And then... as soon as I recovered and I could walk without pain... I broke a toe. WTH!? Spent my fall in a boot all over again. I feel like last Halloween I was in a knee brace and that year I was in a boot. Instead of being an undead cat I was a dragon that year. That year's theme was Rocky Horror Picture Show. I had NO idea what to wear but I didn't want to wear what I wore before. ( This year is Pirate themed and I'm going as an Owlbear Pirate. Gonna be my summer project. )
Okay so I heal from that... my computer fried itself. My graphic's card had an error that took out my motherboard. Found that out since we replaced the graphics thing and well... that didn't do shitake. Sooo I've been without a computer for a while. ( Got it up and running finally last night. ) The graphics card was old and was doing the best it could playing World of Warcraft. My bad really. It needed to be updated for a long while. But I went... "it works Fiiiiiine. Why replace what works just fiiiiine?" Well because it'll destroy everything else if you wait too long. I guess.
Adopted our third cat. Tiny kitten that has been hanging out in our yard for a while now made like 3 dashes into our house... and well... we went. "Well... okay. If you want to be ours that bad... welcome to our home." I voted to rename her Nebula so that she'd fit in with the theme of the others... and so she could be our lil Nebby... but well I was out voted? My brother wanted to name her Brownie... but my Love hates naming pets after food items. And as for my "Nebula"... he went... "She already has a name." Because as a stray she was called Patches by him. Well I've never owned a pet by the name Patches soooo whatever. /whispers... she's still Nebula to me.... But her vet records now say 'Patches'. Her nicknames right now are Confetti and Phantom of the Opera kitty. My nicknames for her btw. She'll never know what her name really is... MWAHAHAHA! Taught her to sit on command though. It's like a random thing all the cats have to learn if they wanna live here. If anything Patches is one of the best things that happened in the year 2023.
Okay, Christmas rolls around and I get an Upper Respiratory Virus. I think maybe RSV.. or something. But a BUNCH of people caught it. I was like... Naaaah I'm fine. /goes to work wearing a mask. But like soooo many people called out so I ended up working extra for the missing people... my sick butt ended up starting to cough up blood. Yeeeeeaaaaah... to the clinic I go. During my recovery a woman I knew for 21+ years who basically raised me and is family... who had also caught the virus... died. But because I was epically sick I couldn't visit that side of the family... who were also still sick at that time. OMG... the panic and drama of all that. That whole mess took all January to sort out. The funeral was horrible too. D: Lots of drama there. I was going to post every little thing that was wrong but this journal got too lengthy fast. So just know... I didn't scold all the "extras" out of respect for the deceased and my family. /heavy deep sigh.


TLDR: 2023 started with a mediocre convention, surgery, injury, computer failure, new kitten, sickness, and then ended with death.

Plans for 2024!!!

ART!! Woooots! I'm very excited for this! Drawing every single Pal in the Pal deck of Palworld. Making a Katress hat... gonna go to FWA 2024!!! Basically... I'm trying to fill 2024 with positive energy!!! ART STUFF... FUN STUFF... FRIENDS!!! /screams into the void. (( Had more horrible stuff happen this year... but I'm trying to not focus on that. OMG please no more bad stuff. The stress is horrible. /weeps ))

First up.... I'm actually surprised I'm not suddenly seeing people taking up the challenge of making a Palworld fursuit. I feel like when a new pokemon game drops and people only have a glimpse of the new pokemon someone is already rushing to make a suit. XD With 111 different Pals and their variants... and a few sneak peaked unofficially released Pals... you'd think someone would have already jumped onto that to claim the title of being the first. If I'm wrong... I would LOVE to see their suit! :D On that note... I'm making a Katress hat. If my character in the game can wear one I can too. So if you go to FWA and see a Katress hat... you're probably seeing me. /shrugs. I've gotten all the materials and will have it finished in a few weeks. I think.

Also on the topic of Palworld.... I've given myself the goal of drawing every. single. one. I'm doing the main deck first. Then the variants. Mostly I hope to get them drawn before their designs are changed. /shrugs. I've already drawn a bunch and I'm doing them all in order. Now that I have my computer back up and running I'll be posting the art soon. :D I'm not posting them until I have the first booklet done. I've just found it faster to draw the sketch, lineart, and then the border to be the fastest. But since that's just a WIP I kinda don't want to upload them all twice. Lol. I have finished drawing and coloring the first three. That's Lamball, Cattiva, and Chikipi. I made the rule to myself that they all must be in a pose and not just standing there.. and if I can help it... keep their eyes open. That way I can use them again as a reference if I should ever need to. /shrugs. Thus far I'm VERY proud of how Penking and Vixy look. Despite them not being colored yet. /sigh. If I take too long I'll upload what I have before the con. I was just hoping to finish before then. Aaaand yeah I could probably pump out like 10 a day... I've decided to doodle them all while I'm on break during work. XD (( I've gotta say as an artist I think my favorite random question I get WHILE I'm drawing something is: "Did you draw that?" Yes. Yes, I drew that... in fact I'm STILL drawing that. Right now in front of you! XD ))

So in summary: While I'm at home on my days off I'm making a Katress hat... and while I'm at work I'm drawing the Pal Deck. I'm also planning on making crow wings.... Man I'm glad my computer is fixed. > A <

This Fox hybrid is going to Pensacon 2023! Yep yep! So if you also plan on going down to Pensacola, Florida for the multi-fandom Convention called Pensacon... keep an eye out for this derp!

I wont have a table or host a panel. Nope. I'm boring and kinda poor this year. XD Maybe one year you'll see me on the artist's alley... but probably not. Maybe at FWA one year perhaps. That's more likely. Wow Pensacon is pricey... jeebus. Anyway... I plan on gearing up in some costumes so of course it'll be tough seeing who this Fox is. :D Mwahahaha. And no... I have yet to actually create/finish my Ralere full or partial suit. XD I have yet to buy more faux fur. Most of my money has been dumped into hospital bills this past year and again this year too. /sigh Although it is planned to be finished at some point. I also kinda wanna make a Dracthyr costume. Hyuhyuhyu... that new Dragon race on Warcraft! I managed to swoop in and nab the coolest name on the Proudmore server. Magigosa... a blue dragon. You nerds out there would probably be proud of me as well on that one. Lol. Anyway back to Pensacon topic. I recently bought a nice camera... I'll be test it out in a bit to be honest so it's not even out of its box... but yeah. Pictures! I will be taking a lot of pictures of the Con and I hope a lot of people will stop me for pictures too! Hehehe. So here is the costume line-up:

Friday:
Ravenclaw! You Potterheads should spot this beauty with ease. Decked out in the full Hogwarts uniform I'll grace the Civic Center... or whatever they call it now. With the Ravenclaw quirk of fanciful leggings and odd looking shoes. Oh... and the head of a crow. I mean... sure why not? XD I should be easy enough to spot.

Saturday:
Skull cats are back! My spooky self from Halloween will be stalking the halls and Vendor floors! Matching shirt and a cute skirt, I'll blindly wonder around. Hah! I had a lot of fun at the Witch's ball but instead of the fancy dress I'll be in the more casual outfit I wore on Halloween proper. I wonder if anyone took a picture of me on that hay ride... meh. I'm glad I healed just fine after all those hay mites bit me. Eck... that was an itchy mess. Anyway... I think it'll be fun to roam in this suit once more. :3

Sunday:
Crows are back! Wings and feathery tails are in! More specifically... Pirate Crows! Either I'll don my full crow head or I'll stay cool in a crow masquerade mask... but in pirate wear! Plus my wings and tail I wore for my ScareCrow from 2021. :3

I'm going again this year! :D I was planning on wearing my crow again but in a different outfit. My mom told me this year's theme is "Classic Movie Monsters" so I was thinking about maybe being a "Dra-crow-la" but it was hard coming up with an outfit that screamed VAMPIRE without the use of teeth and not looking dorky. And then I learned that the theme was actually "Monster Mash" and switched gears. At first I was again trying to fit a crow or raven into the theme of monster but it all sounded silly or hard to pull off in a month's time with my finances.

And then I saw a cat skeleton face mask with moving jaw at Walmart. And now I knew what I was going as. Since I had a BUNCH of left over black faux fur from my crow and the mask was cheap enough.... I made a plan. I soldered off the ears, sanded off the rough edges, sewn up a cowl, and am reattaching bigger and better ears. I already made a lovely tail last year... got a pretty dress and a fake neck chain thing from Spirit Halloween... BOOM... I have a costume.

I'm going as a Melanistic Krenshar. Or in simpler terms... a black skull-faced cat. For those of my watchers that don't remember what a krenshar is:

Or if you don't feel like clicking either links: They are large feline like creatures that are able to fold back their facial skin to expose their skeletal face and screech in such a way you don't just hear it with your ears but you feel it with your mind. They are from the Dungeons and Dragons universe/game. My costume is just melanistic because that's the materials I have on hand and it's just me being lazy. XD I'll take photos. I'm almost done making the mask. (( Adjusting the fit of the cowl since I made it too big and now it wont glue onto the skull properly and I haven't attached the ears yet. ))

Maybe this year I'll win best costume??? Or maybe someone in a prom dress with pretty makeup will win again. XD I'm still spicy about it even though there weren't any prizes for the contest. (( If I even remember correctly... after all I didn't win so I didn't get a prize. Sad crow without trinkets.... )) (( They did do door prizes though! I didn't win that either but I think my mom did. ))

Woooo... okay. So cat update. After we lost Bizkit we discussed if we should adopt a cat. The answer was a loud YES! So in a hope and a skip we went to a cat adoption event. Talked with all the foster parents and viewed all the cats. I personally LOVED like 4 of them. My luv was eyeing these two boys that I was like... uuuuh nope. They are giants and would scare the ever living beans out of Lyuna. ( I've learned those big boys were later adopted together by someone! Yay! ) Okay so the shy calico I was liking but wasn't in love with the foster mom was kinda being pushy and it turned out she was the one in charge of the charity and the event. She was also pretty horrible in communication when it came to texting back and forth and sounded like she wanted me to join her group and start catching and fostering cats myself. Which is not a possibility at this time. Gave me shady vibes. And the other cali girl already had someone filling out paperwork for her. ( She was adopted like 3 days later or something ), and then there was this lovely and cute kitten but the foster wanted her to be adopted with her brother. That was a no go... 1 cat to go with the 1 cat we have at home. Suddenly adding 2 would most certainly overwhelm Lyuna. So then there was this beautiful brown and black cat which was called Annie... she was the foster mom's "Little Orphan Annie". Her story was that she was found behind a shopping center kinda sickly and had recently given birth to kittens which did not survive. When she was healthier she was spayed and had gotten all her shots. When we met her she was a week after recovering from her spay so her stomach was a lil bloated and shaved down. She LOVED being petted and was just the perfect personality to mesh with Lyuna's. This will be our cat, I had decided. The foster LOVED us too. I talked about my background and my love's background and she felt we were a perfect fit. Okay now it's paper work and money transfer... oh wait. Nope. DESPITE the foster being 100% ready for this... and me 100% ready to receive her... the Lady in charge... yeah remember her... she said that there wasn't any time to finish the paperwork and I'll have to come some other time. The event was 30 minutes until being over and it would take 1 hour to do the processing. Wait... what? I already filled out ALL the paperwork ahead of time online before I even came. The only thing I hadn't done was pick which cat we wanted. Maybe I was just being ignorant but I felt all that needed to be done was signing a few pages, get a picture done, and get handed over the vet papers and the cat. And the foster even said she was willing to stay for however long it would be needed because she felt as long as her Annie was going to her perfect forever home it shouldn't matter. She had free time after all... she stated this. Lol. Personally, me too. I didn't care if it took 3 hours I felt Annie was perfect. Well okay... sure.

I ended up going home without a cat that day. I did however get Annie's foster mother's number and gave her mine. We were going to get her and wanted to work out our schedule together to meet up with the adoption group's blessing. I wanted to do this all correctly and if the organizer said we have to do it a certain way then fine. More time to get more toys, I guess. So it takes a while before I can get another Saturday off to align with the stars to get the cat... but then I receive a text from the foster. Her job is relocating her to Canada... 4 days before the event I managed to get off. D: Lemme tell you this foster mom is amazing though. She's like... "F the charity. You're perfect for Annie. Let's meet up and I'll give her to you." (( During this time I was battling the Charity organizer through text to finalize that I wanted Annie and not join the group! LOL. It was super weird. )) So Annie's foster mom arrives at my door and I let her in. I meet her and her partner and show off all the cat stuff I have ready for "Annie". I then show her the pile of files I have on vet records of both Lyuna and of our passed cat Hazel. I wanted her to know "Annie" would be well taken care of and not to worry about her. I then showed her Lyuna and we kept "Annie" in her kennel to see how they reacted to each other. Lyuna was super curious and did not hiss even once that day. So before the foster mom left I told her we decided that the name we would be giving "Annie" will be related to Lyuna's name. While Lyuna is a mixture of the name Yuna and Luna both meaning Moon... "Annie" will be named after the stars. She is now named Astra. We have our Moon and our Star. Since we already have a kennel ready for Astra we let the foster mom take that back and out of the toys she brought I asked which was Astra's favorite so that we would keep it. It's a banana. Like a catnip kicker banana toy you can find at Walmart. It looked nasty but we kept it. After all I felt it would be mean to separate her from something truly familiar to her. Glad I did... that really is her favorite toy.

Lyuna is warming up to Astra but she's still wary of her. They... "kinda" play with each other but they have yet to fight. Unless you count the time I was trimming Astra's claws and when Astra growled Lyuna ran up and slapped her. Protective bodyguard kitty, Lyuna is. Lol. Astra is a snuggle fiend and I love it. Her fur has gotten softer since she's been with us and she's gotten used to our schedule and she just fits right in. :3 I've taken a bunch of photos of her and videos. I've even taught her how to sit on command. She's very food motivated. :D So you'll be seeing pictures of her at some point. :3

Just an update with my life... it's been 7 months so I figured I should give ya'll some info.

The ending of last year I saw myself at my heaviest. I ended up getting a really bad cyst and went to an urgent clinic for it's removal. After the amazing staff talked with me I ended up making one of their doctor's my primary. And so the blood work was made. And the result? I was diabetic. So franticly I made a change in my life and so far... I've lost 48 lbs and have met my weightloss goal for the summer! No surgery... just diet, exercise, and taking my required medicines. And now my A1C is 5.2.... normal. Wooo! I plan to continue my weightloss journey and maybe I'll start taking more pictures of myself feeling more confident.

And that sorta where the story about this cat comes in. I've spotted the cat last year but he never came near. At some point this year he started to come by our house so we started to even coax him closer. He was limping around and seemed like something was up with him. Soon he was visiting us often and we'd feed and pet him. Turned out he was missing his front left paw but was the sweetest little gentleman. Even though at the time we had no idea of his gender. After a discussion with the household we decided that him being out on the streets without a paw was dangerous. So now we needed a date. I figured let me just save up a bit and we'll just nab him in one fell swoop to the vet and claim the cat as ours. But then a surprise happened.... my insurance didn't want to pay my doctor's visit because of my deductible wasn't met. Okayyyy... same paycheck... insurance didn't want to pay for one of my medications... ~$800... had a long discussion with them and ended up just paying ~$200. Ouch... so not this paycheck for the little guy. Fine the next one then. So I don't back out of it, I call up my vet and schedule his visit for June 1st. We'll coax him to remain around our house by feeding him. And then he got into a cat fight just before the weekend and now we don't see him every night. So now the plan became, if we see him on Tuesday we'll have to just grab him and bring him inside. But he's a stray with who knows what... so let's separate him from Lyuna, our current cat.

During this entire coaxing experience we avoided giving him too much attention to avoid prolonged contact with him and washed our hands to make sure we didn't spread anything to Lyuna. But now we've brought him inside and have to close off a portion of the house. Lyuna was not pleased. But Tuesday I still had to go to work so I left my luv and my brother to watch over the cat we've affectionately named Bizkit... Limp Bizkit. I even got a cat collar engraved for him. Right when I brought him in I gave him a bath. I know... a bath. People seem shocked that I am able to bathe a cat... even a stray cat. Yeah. Claws intact. Not even a scratch. I'm just good at it. Lol. He even purred for me after the bath so he was fine. I did note that even though I had just bathed him he still stank. He smelled something horrid but I figured it must be unneutered cat smell. I've never owned an unaltered male cat before. Didn't matter since Wednesday he'll get that fixed. So I get home late Tuesday and ask how things went and I was told he was just hanging out in the bathroom all day sleeping on the towel I had used to dry him with. Not only that but it would appear he had a wound on his back that was seeping. Well no matter... he'll be at the vets anyway. They can take a look and prescribe antibiotics. I felt unworried but all the same I only gave him small pets on the head and then washed my hands after it each time. When I had came home he would cry out to me and follow me around a little in the area of the house he was allowed in. My heart was in love but I knew until his vet visit I should keep it all in. So we went to bed and woke up early to take him to the vet. I was quoted the entire procedure I was asking for would cost $320... I would do it. I wanted to bring this lil boy home and shower him with the love he so deserved. After all he loved being around people, the attention, the love, and would purr something loud. I couldn't wait to bring him home and cuddle this love-bug. Tired as all heck we head home and take a few hours nap. I awake to see a call from the clinic.

Shocked to see they were already done with everything 2 hours ahead of schedule I happily call them back. I was excited to bring him home early! After a moment with the receptionist on the line they transfer me to the technician. Only... it was not the news I had wanted to hear. The wound on his back that was oozing... yeah that was septic and it should have been able to heal on its own. But it couldn't... his immune system was comprimised. He was Feline Leukemia positive.... he had FeLV and that's highly contagious. He had it for at least a month now and while some cats could heal from it all on their own, his odds were not good. They were asking permission to put him down. The sweet little boy I had wanted to give a better life too... was at the end of his line. They had not done any of the surgery after the test results had shown he was positive. They couldn't. So I had to agree. FeLV is not an easy disease... it kills 85% of cats.

So then my day became disinfecting everything or just throwing items away. A day that was going to be exciting turned into a very depressing day. I don't regret helping him... I just wish we had gotten to him well before he was exposed. Now we know that just about all the cats in our neighborhood is probably infected too since many of the cats would eat together or groom each other. Or would fight each other. I can't help but worry for Lyuna despite her being an indoor only cat and having never made contact with him and everything he's touched has been overly sanitized. Like OCD cleaned.



Soooooo that's my exciting and depressing year thus far......

I am now done sewing, hot gluing, and cutting stuff! It took me a while but I'm done! I have my scarecrow outfit to debut tomorrow at the Pensacola Witch's Ball... and last minute cat-girl outfit ready for Halloween so I can safely trick or treat with my niece and nephew!

If you're attending the ball then I'll see you there! If not I'll try and take pictures! IDK how well they'll look since the party will be at night so I'm assuming dark. From the pictures of last year... ???.... the dance hall is of course dimly lit as well. Dark bird hiding in the darkness.... I already plan on ruining the magic a few times though. ( I've never suited before so I need to be careful not to over do it... ) It's a 4 hour party with foooood! So I'll be pious the first hour... maybe. Depends on how good everything smells. XD But the first hour is a masquerade where we "unmask" after that. Lol. This will be interesting. I have my mom going in a partial crow mask so we can be birds of a feather together. Not sure what my dad is doing but from the looks of things he might be Dumbledore??? Also for headless time I will be bringing a normal facemask to be safe in public. And hand sanitizer. : O

The interstate fair is in town right now too and will last until Halloween. I don't plan on going. That will be just trouble waiting for me. Even during a normal year I always end up going home sick from the rides if not from the food. I will miss the booths though. /sigh... maybe next year? Of which I don't plan on going to FWA or Pensacon next year... but maybe the year after that. I will try and attend the Ren Fair though. : D Give suiting in public a try... idk... same issue though. So that will depend on how cold it is. : x

Okay so 3 YEARS LATER... /cough

I'm still an emotional rollercoaster at times but things seem to be leveling out. I have been doodling again.... but nothing I'm truly proud of. I ditched my old scanner and bought a new one. I haven't unboxed it yet which is dumb since I've had the thing now for... uh... 4? 5 months??? Sometime the beginning of the year.

Last year my younger brother was forced into living with me so we've been taking care of him. He has his own job and a car sooo at least there is that. That's a different drama that I hope gets squared away soon enough... but let's be honest... the world is crazy right now so it looks like he'll be stuck here for several years.

September of last year we rescued a kitten. She was around 2 weeks old, eyes recently opened, and still drinking milk. She was found under our house during Hurricane Sally... wet... muddy... and 100% alone and VERY hungry. We even waited outside with her crying to see if momma would show up every day and night for a week. Momma never showed back up and we never found any kittens her age in our neighborhood. Poof nothing. So we kept her. And now she is this sassy thing that chases us around the house and her birthday is coming up. Almost a year old! ( Since she seemed 2 weeks old we guessed her birthday would have been September 3rd. Vet even agreed with our guess. ) Like a new mom and the dork I am... she has her own tiktok.

In Furry news... I finished the foam base of my very own suit. I feel like forever ago... but with my brother moving in I had to put it on hold. And now it's a hidden art piece somewhere in the back closet. I have no idea when I'll be able to work on her again because the fur needed for her is kinda always out of stock when I have the money for it. XD BUUUUUT... I have another project I'm working on and I'm super excited. My projection for completion will be either by the end of September or mid October. Depending on if I get all the supplies needed to finish in time. Honestly I'm almost done. All the major foam work is done. The mask is almost done. I just need to get more thin foam lining to help stabilize the head so the moving jaw will sit comfortably. I also need to install the tongue but I wanna do all that in one fell swoop. The biggest issue.... I don't have a name for the character. When I have her all put together I think I'll try coming up with a name then. That way I can match a name to a character and not just hope the name fits once she's done.

Commission news: I don't think I'll ever reopen for commissions. Not any time soon at least. I do apologize but it stresses me out and makes me feel guilty. I also don't think I'll be doing batch adopts anymore either. Not saying I wont do any ever again... but probably no more batches of them.

Future Conventions: I'm undecided at this time. I really do want to attend one but with this second round flying through I'd rather not potentially get sick. More so I don't want to accidentally get my mom sick... just because I wanted to go have fun at an event. I'm not that selfish. My mom has a lung problem and has been super lucky to have not gotten this thing yet. No matter what side of the fence you are on with the latest public health issue is... I just don't want my mom sick. And that's where I stand. If things turn for the better over the winter then I will consider attending Pensacon. If things get much better next year... perhaps I'll start attending FWA again too. We'll see. Stay healthy out there and be safe!

Been a sad fox for the longest while and so far it hasn't gotten any better. Been trying to scribble things again but for the most part I've been disinterested. Thought maybe buying a new art program and even buying a tablet would help... buuut it's hard staying focused and continuing.

Main excuse... Work. I've been working almost full time hours and finding time to relax and just be myself is kinda hard to do. Buuuut in college even though I was busy I still drew... so here's the second excuse....

Waaay too many deaths. I haven't even finished coping when another happens.

My Great Aunt passed Dec 7, 2017, Age 81
Then this year my dad's cat, Oliver, passed May 27, 2018, Age 15.

And now it's June 17th... Hazel's birthday. She would have been 18 this year. If she was a human she'd have graduated high school this year. I miss her terribly.

Aaaaauggghh... I don't normally suffer from sinus issues. But lately I've been drowning in sinus problems. At this current moment... a runny nose. But typically sinus pressure and headaches. /flops over Been taking pills as needed but I'm not much of a pill popper. I was sorta raised on the... "walk it off" way of life. Live with it until it's unbearable. > A < That pretty much goes with everything. Tis but a flesh wound! /hobbles away

Also... I've been tempted on so many occasions to draw situations/scenarios that have been happening at work... but I'm really not sure if I'm allowed to or not. /scratches head in thought. Some of it is cute... others or at least most of it is "Are you kidding me??"...

Just an update. I'm not dead... but I'm not sure when I'll be able to post something onto FA.

I was thinking about this last night, but I want to know my watcher's opinions on this. How would you feel if I made Jeracals a semi-open species? Meaning in order to get one you have to follow specific rules and get the design okayed by me before it's allowed. I sorta already have a FA account set aside for them and I was thinking those that have theirs confirmed will be posted over on that page.

Let me know what you think and what are some ideas for rules and such I should go by. If I do make them semi-open species I'll need to sit down and figure out what I'd be comfortable with others doing or not doing with them design wise. And to make or tweak reference guides to making them. On what is allowed and what isn't and all that.

The species is still technically a WIP species but I have most if not a good portion of them already figured out. But please keep in mind I might change a few things on what will be allowed or not... so maybe if I see everyone treating them and me with respect I might allow more unusual design and such within the species. But if I see abuse of my kindness I wont allow any more and wont do this sort of thing again.

I plan on having only watchers be allowed to make one. But I'm not sure if I should allow how many per person... I'll figure things out as I go I guess.... XD

To bring interest in my Jeracal species I've decided to host a raffle! Anyone can enter but I'll only do 7 customs! All not on a base! D: I must be crazy I swear.

What name will you give it? ( I tend to give mine exotic names from around the middle east... but any name will do. Even Elvish. :D )
Is it a feral or is it owned? (Ferals used to have an owner but ran away. Owned ones tend to have been purchased from some where....)
What is the history of your Jeracal? (How did it come to be feral or owned by a specific owner?)
What does it's hair look like? (Not color but length and style. Keep in mind their ear-caps make certain hair styles impossible but the hair on the cap can be chemically lengthened so if you desire something like that please state this in your Jeracal's history)
What kind of outfit does your Jeracal wear? (I tend to go desert clothing but a Jeracal can live where ever in the world. :D )
((If you're trying for the unusual color please explain why it is colored so? A virus? Chemical reaction? Aliens!? Magic? :D Magic is a part of their world but Jeracals are unable to properly breed with other species at this time so that reason will be rejected.))

You can back out of the raffle at any time. Including at the end when you realize for whatever reason a Jeracal is not for you. : O If a custom was made and you suddenly back out that Jeracal will be sold to someone else. You then lose the right to own it. YOU MAY NOT FOR ANY REASON SELL YOUR RAFFLE WON JERACAL!!! You can offer it up for trade or give it back to me.


The point of you having to convince me for a slot with a background story is to help motivate you into bonding and using your Jeracal. :3 One day I hope to start up an RP group where all Jeracal owners can meet and RP their characters. >w<

PLEASE NOTE! if I find your form lacking I will not accept it but I will give you pointers so you can expand it. You can apply for more then one slot!! Of any rarity!

How it'll work. If your comment is accepted I'll jot it down in a list under the selected rarity you chose. At the end of September I'll head over to a random number generator and the number shown will win that slot. Then through October I'll be drawing up the customs and passing them out to their owners. If at any time that person declines the Jeracal or drops out I'll use the made list to see who will win that slot instead. :D

Because of my sleep schedule if there is a stream that I'm on it'll only be between 4 PM - 2 AM Central Time. If you see me on before that time then something is fishy. If you see me on after said time I forgot to look at a clock and really should be going to bed. XD This is more then likely to change but I'll give a heads up at that time. Ica Stones: Ancient stones with images drawn on them. Some of which depicts very well drawn dinosaurs interacting with humans which several scientists claim never would of happened... and yet there they are.
