Halflife 2 trade-in
General | Posted 18 years agoSo, I bought the Orange Box of Halflife, so I have a copy of "Halflife 2" and a copy of "HL2:Episode 1" to give away.
All you have to do, is draw me something. :D
You need a Steam account (Which is free) and you'll have to download it after I sent you the gift coupon.
If you're interested in either of them, just reply and I'll pick who gets which. :D
Of course I reserve the right to pick those people whos art I like most. :P

Making a game
General | Posted 18 years agoOk, some might remember that I started making a game a while ago, and a few days ago I started working on it a little again.
The game itself isn't that hard to make, but the graphics, gee!
It's an adventure game, and EVERYTHING in it was done by moi, yours truly.
Well, if you want to take a look at it, you can download it here:

It's compressed, so you have to unpack it somewhere, either by just running the file and entering the folder you want it in, or by opening it in WinRAR.
The game itself doesn't need to be installed, it is just a single file and will run anywhere.
You don't really need a supercomputer for it, really, it should run on anything that is even remotely recent. It does use Direct3D, even though it isn't 3d, it uses it for particle effects and such.

I should probably also mention, that the escape key gets you back into the menu. Double clicking is used to move from scene to scene, except when you have to use a door. F1 is a cheat key that will give you the chrystal that transports to the alien world.

The decision made is something I do not appreciate, at all. And the reactions of some pro-pedo artists have been rather disgusting to me.

Ok! My first ever con is over, and these are my thoughts.
Well, I really really enjoyed the last three days of the con, I met some of my favorite artists, made sketches for them and got sketches in return.
Additionally to the people I already knew I met some new ones, like the most awesome Ultraviolet, who is just as sweet and nice as I have been told, as well as Shinigamigirl, Akeyla, Alpha Ki (Not really new but I didn't really talk a lot to her before. Which I should be ashamed for. *sadface*), Khaosdog, Nelena and a bunch as other wonderful people. Also Blackdragon, who I learned will move to N�rnberg soon, which is great, we'll spend a lot of time watching movies and drawing. XD
I was only day guest, so I technically couldn't sleep at the con side, but I was allowed to linger around as long as I don't sleep. So Blackdragon and me sat down into a room and talked for about 9 hours. (Well. She talked, while I mostly listened, but it was really impressive. I never quite met someone who was half asleep and still able to coherently explain the storyline of an anime series down to the tiniest detail. :>)
Mostly I only hung out with the artists to draw and talk, I really didn't care for any events, so yes.
I was impressed by the sheer number of people there. There were so many faces and names I never saw. I also have to admit that I saw an example of pretty much every negative aspect of furry, but it was funny in a morbid kind of way.
Also, I pretty much decided that if I go to the next con, I'll get a desk at the dealer's den.
I bought some prints from Bloodhound Omega, Ultraviolet and Thornwolf. Also a pin of a dragon from Blackdragon. XD
You should look out for the artists prints on furbid! Especially Blackdragon's. Go buy them.
That's it! There'll be another post with the art I made for the others once scans come in. :>
