With the Pumpkin Curse being finished for another year, I just want to thank everyone for helping make this an annual thing we can do!
I look forward to drawing it every year and it makes me so happy to see people also look forward to this silly series as well.

It's getting close to that time of year again and since it's becoming a tradition, the Pumpkin Curse will soon return!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, came up with the idea of a haunted farmland that curses any trespasser with "Jack o Lantern inflation", so for the past 2 years we've come up with YCHs involving this theme~

Be careful about comparing your artwork to other artists, especially professional artists you look up to.
It's alright to analyze and understand what you could do better next time but the "why doesn't my work look as good as theirs" is a very dangerous way of thinking. As if starting out wasn't hard enough...don't add to that by draining your confidence.

A long time ago I used to compare my artwork with artists I loved, usually digital artwork because it's so popular but that wasn't even a fair comparison. It's mentally exhausting and I can only blame myself for it. I would make myself depressed thinking I'll never be as good as them...literally a pointless draining cycle.

Have fun with your art. Focus on yourself and learn from your own work. Don't worry about how long it's taking to improve...draw because you enjoy it~

These last couple of years working on commissions have been such a new experience for me; I've made so many new friends and learned a lot of different things to improve my artwork.

Wow, that was tougher than I initially thought it would be...I had to take an extra day to decide which commission ideas to pick.

A few people had asked about this and I should probably address it now since I'm going to continue using Patreon.

I post the previews of finished commissions on Furaffinity and full versions early on my Patreon. Commissioners are ALWAYS allowed to post their finished commissions anywhere before I do, even if I'm only showing a preview. I think it would be silly for me to ask commissioners to hide their bought artwork for 1-2 weeks until I post it on Furaffinity. I have no problem with this at all; the previews are just a suggestion to check out the Patreon and I'm more than flattered when commissioners want to share my work.
The only time I would have a problem with it is if someone besides the commissioner was taking finished work and posting it to their gallery or claiming they created it.

I know hearing the word Patreon can make some people nervous so let me explain how I plan to use it:
- The content I post on Patreon will be for early access, anyone who wants to see my finished artwork 1-2 weeks earlier than anything I'll post on Furaffinity. Which means I will still be posting all finished work eventually to Furaffinity, just later.
- I will also be posting WIPs and rough unfinished sketches that might might never make it to Furaffinity.
- You will also have an effect on what I end up drawing next by voting in polls, as well as discounts on commissions.

The point of me using Patreon is not to force people to support me through a permanent paywall, it's just for those who want to help me out for a small amount and also see my content early. I'm open to hear any suggestions for tiers because I am very new at this~
