Last night I decided to announce I'm going on an art hiatus for a bit. The energy has been hard to find. Between doing 8 hours shifts that leave me exhausted, drained, and broken by the end of the day, and the extreme lack of motivation to even look at my monitor has been making doing art really unenjoyable lately.
I really don't wanna put out half-assed content with no passion for y'all so I feel like a break is in need here. Idk how long this will be, hopefully not too long.
One other thing is when I changed my display name to add "hiatus" on twitter it auto-locked my account for "suspicious activity". I was able to get back in within seconds but it's got me also nervous that if I do anything my account will be gone forever for no reason. I'll be doing more posting here for now because of that

Posted 2 years agoI have a cohost set up where I've been uploading some art slowly, and eventually the plan is to migrate to there instead of twitter, given the rapidly declining state of the platform
I'll still be using twitter until the very end tho. I'll crossposting on both platforms in the meantime!

Update about Thiccmas
Posted 3 years agoSome of you might have seen that Day 4 of Thiccmas was originally posted yesterday, and was taken down not long afterwards. I made a post on my twitter about this but might as well share my thoughts here.
Not even 3 hours after posting that picture a post was made citing evidence that the person I drew for has a hidden inkbunny account where they post cub / sh*ta art. I do not EVER promote that kind of stuff, nor will I ever. I removed the piece and last minute chose another person to fill in the gap. I'm sorry if this caused any confusion, but I hope ya'll understand my actions

I just realized that opening comms during the holidays was a total disaster. Not only were there barely any clients, but I ended up being so busy this year I never had time for myself to work on art. After these next two comms I'm closing and will reopen sometime next year maybe around late January or February. I apologize to anyone who commed me and waited so long for a response from. Please understand that the holidays put me so behind schedule art wise. Love you all.
