Hello everyone! As I am about to wrap up the monthly piece (certainly before the form period is over...) I've decided to open up my commission forms again! I'll be closing them a week from today (Feb 17, 2025), whereupon I will review the commissions, choose which I'd like to take, and put up my queue! I'll be up in Connecticut for Furpocalypse 2024 this week! I'm really excited to be up in the northern states again, I was actually attending last year but this year I have something really cool!!!

Two of my art pieces, and some sketches, will be appearing in the art show! I've never done anything like this so I'm learning and very excited and giddy! So, if anybody was already planning to head up for the festivities, feel free to also drop by and see my stuff! I'm not running a booth in artist's alley or anything, but I will be walking around the con-space, so if you somehow recognize me or my sona's name, come say hi! ^^ I can be awkward at times, but I am friendly!

At long last I'm opening for commissions again! Things have changed a bit since I last opened comms. I feel my commission structure has been rather chaotic, but I think I've finally tightened it down to a form that would enable me to be as de-stressed as possible. Essentially, I'm going to have a form sheet now! Once you fill out the form, and once the date for forms being opened has ended, I will collect up all the forms, choose which ones I'd like to do in a four slot queue, and organize them. I hope this winds up being helpful for my stress levels, and for ensuring I can correctly make what y'all would like from me! ^^

Q: Do additions such as extra characters represent a percent of the price of the drawing type, or a percent of the drawing and background combined?
A: Anything percentage based or extra (such as a background) is added on top of the base price of the drawing type. So if you wanted a colored lineart with a colored sketch background and an additional character, the additional character's percentage would be based on the colored lineart's price alone, and then the background's price would be added.

Q: Are the prices of additional character pieces for multi-panel pieces based on the whole cost of the multi-panel piece, or the base price of the drawing type?
A: They are based on the base price of the drawing type, so long as what's being asked isn't excessively complicated. (E.G.: A piece with multiple panels of characters in various extreme or difficult poses interacting.)

I finally wrapped up the previous queue! I have a few background comms I agreed with some pals that I'd make, but a lot of it is simpler sketch stuff, so expect an updated pricing sheet to be published soon alongside a new queue opened up. This time I'll open a few slots, and I'm considering creating some kind of form and having a form submission period, so I can poke through comms and maybe give some folk who wouldn't notice the announcement some time to get in on it, tell me what y'all think of that idea though.

I just want to note for all current commissioners that for you the prices will remain what they are currently or what we've agreed upon (in the case I'm doing work for you right now!)

This is for once this cycle is all cleared up and finished. ^^ As it stands currently, I feel I have my prices set too low once again. I think for the quality of work I'm offering and with my willingness to go step by step through the process with the commissioner and make changes I should be afforded a bit more on certain tiers of commission. I've been meaning to stick with art and keep it as my career, and so far I'm about two years dedicated to this being my only stream of income! I wasn't thinking of hiking things up too much, just 10 or 20 USD to things like my fully rendered comms, creating a better tiering system (Sketch, colored sketch, lined, colored lines, shading, etc.) as well as finally officially offering sketch comms for a cheaper price and things like that!

I was hoping to generally pose this as a dialogue, since I think it'd be important to understand what you guys, especially those of you who plan to work with me and those of you who repeatedly give patronage, think would be a fair price for my work, or if any of you think in the first place that this is a good idea. Any comments are appreciated, and thank you guys for your continued support, it really does mean a lot for me and I'm endlessly thankful qvq

I'll try to have a new piece finished by the end of this week, or at least some sketches. I'm sorry I got so busy in December that I feel burnt out ^^;;;

I don't know if it will delay it or not but I'm going into the dentist soon for wisdom teeth removal so I may take a small bit longer on work while I heal -- if it's not too troublesome and bothersome for me work will continue as per usual, but if not then I'll give an update on when I'm working at full speed.
