not much has happened lately... My art is like... on hold... Flubbing slumps... On top of that i'm o tired... But i had a BLAST today!!!!! My sister and i went climbing around and we found this... idk wat to call it but it was deep, large, and REALLY muddy... Also had a lot of cactus an spiders in it... I don't think i have ay spider bits... but i fell on a cactus and so like my right hand is out of commission for doing anything useful other than drawing... V.V... Oh and for anyone out there who knows what an ASVAB test is, i just want to say that i'm ecstatic that i got a 72 on mine... i could have done better had i known a test was coming and had not stayed up till 1 am the pervious morning... but still... for what it's worth getting the 2nd best score in my school if fucking AWESOME!!!! Now i just have to keep straight As for the rest of the next year and a 1/2 and i may get to graduate 2011..^.^

I hate sounding like some sort of emo freak... i'm not usually... but i'm having a really hard time adjusting to a life without friends.... i grew up in a place where people like me were cool, if you were new, you were instantly cool. If you were strange and a little out of the box, OMG sign up for cheerleading, and all the sports teams along with the chess club and the geek club and the science club and the math club too... good, if you were smart enough to be a nerd and strong enough to play a sport or flexible enough to cheer, omg you were the coolest. If you could draw and you were smart you were pretty cool... Here... unless you're stupid and a total floozie.... you're nothing. I'm sorry, but floozies don't major in forensic science and get their BAs in Visual Art and General Performing Art.... I may only be a sophomore (supposed to be junior) but i know what i want... I'm even researching colleges and grants/ scholarships... I'm trying to get a job to help put away money 4 college... i don't have time to party. I try to help raise my family... I have priorities... Being a floozie, not one of them.

in front of that moving train, i want to be collected into glass jars, Ot just one... and put in front of everyone at my funeral... i want them all to see what i was feeling inside and that my insides are no different than theirs. I want everyone of them to see that i had a heart, a liver, a brain, that i bleed red, and that i have bones. That I'm the same color on the inside at they are, my blood has not visual difference than theirs. I want all the asshole who think that they are better then the rest of us to notice that they're the same on the inside.

I woke up at 3:00 am this morning freaking out about centipedes in my bed.... (there weren't any that i know of) i just moved about a month ago, and Yay we have a basement, it's covered in about a foot of dust so yeah i went down with my sister to clean it and we saw a bug on the wall... Me being a cat, i HAVE to sniff at it and find out what it is... i figured it was some sort of centipede... (later i googled it and found out it was a house centipede...) BUT point being the bed i'm currently sleeping on has been down in the basement since we got here and i've recently developed a major phobia of anything bug. If i see a bug, it must die... so i've been all itchy and sleepless all freaking night and had to jump out of bed and grab my ever present flash light and look for any stupid bugs... i didn't find any but i ended up reading for over a hour to calm my stupid ass down... (and got scared shitless by a moth.... A MOTH!!!!!) so... Today sucks, and now i've got to go to school till about 5 tonight... (i'm leaving in and hour and a half...) Joy.... =.=

okay so taking inspiration from another artist is one thing, put modeling EVERYTHING you draw after what another artist is drawing is just depressing. Maybe not for the person copying, but for the artist being copied feels like shit after...
oh and here's a cheery fact, IT'S MY SISTER... yeah the one i have to share everything with except my underwear and pillows... (we tend to keep our clothes separate, but sometimes you need THAT shirt to complete your outfit). Her skill is better than mine, hands down, but a while ago i had a friend teaching me how to do anthro art, and THE NEXT DAY guess who's started drawing EVERYTHING anthro.... Before she did animal characters, or neko characters.... same here, but now that i've started doing the whole, animal with human likeness, SO DID SHE. Every time i do something that i get praised for, SHE starts it...

AND TODAY!!!!! i'm depressed so i'm doing my usual depressed thing and drawing moons with faces that are sad/ emo and yeah.... i got told they looked cool, and kinda freaky.... THEN Little miss natty just HAS to do something with a moon in it... and on top of that.... It's anthro.... "but it's a faceless moon so it's not exactly like yours" she says.... Like THAT makes it ALL better... Occasionally i'll use one of her ideas if it's the perfect touch on a character, but i ALWAYS TRY to ask first.... I'm not perfect. No one is... but she's been doing this for a month now and i've told her a few times to knock it off and will she... NO! She's like this every time i do ANYTHING that gets me attention on F.A, in class, hell in our house. HELLO BUDDING PHOTOGRAPHER FIRST! Nope, now natty has to be better than me. You know what, She's a writer, a song writer (with some help, rarely), a guitarist, a pianist, she gets better grades than i do, in class, (i'm better and the homework portion), she's skinnier than i am, and she's STILL a better artist. i work hard. meaning i'm a hard worker, i have better "Real life skills" Than she does, but so? That gives her the right to take away ANY amount of credit i could get as a good artist?

All i want is to be told good job by somebody i care about.

All it seems like she wants is me GONE.

So like, i've finally grown my hair out to a whole foot long.... when i was younger i had short hair due to a vindictive grandmother, but i can' do anything with it.... i never learned how to.... (I swear to god my mother was actually a male made into a woman and conned his/her twin sister to have me with my dad...) and like then a 14 i moved in with my grandma, yes the vindictive one, who was going through Chemo and was upset enough about her hair so i never asked her, even though she was a beautician... and like now... my New mom is a total tom boy and my day wants to take me in and get my hair cut.... (Note: no one has touched my hair to cut/color/style it in over 2 years. Anyone who tried will her their hand broken) and like my hair is all flat and blond... and BORING!!! i mean in the 7th grade i spry dyed my hair rainbow one day because i woke up 20 mins early and got bored... in the last year i've been a red head, a brunet, a blond, green, blue, purple, red, turquoise, blue and purple... Hmm.... Lets see..... Maroon, lagoon blue, light blue, Oh and at one point i only dye the back underside of my head a DARK blue.... (Side Note: i guess it's been over a year by like 3 weeks....)

I mean i've ALWAYS wanted to grow my hair out, but now i have no idea if i should leave it blonde, change the color, or cut it.... and if i cut it, what style?

(Side Side Note: i'm starting at a new school in like.... 2-3 weeks... I'm desperate here.....)
