MFF was so awesome
Posted 10 years agoso i went to midwest furfest this weekend and i had a pretty fan fukin tastic time. it was my first convention ever and i loved it. admittingly first day was a little shit cause i was having some dificulties sociallizing and trying to make friends and ended up on the wrong shuttle bus and ended up at the airport. but when the dance came around i was finally was able to cut loose and get down. this is when i met 
skonk and 
drake26 they were super awesome and friendly and it really helped me and turned my shit day around. i chilled with skonk most the time. went to room parties n shit and was able to make more friends. for the ones i could find here are some of the people i met through out my time

Posted 10 years agoyo so i just switched over to check out FA's beta design and flippin love it. i am honestly to scared to switch back. though my only complaint would probably be that back in the other version when you mouse over a picture you can instantly see the description etc. but new version doesn't. i don't know about you but i liked that feature. oh well. i would like to say since i am in my second year of graphic design i look at this from a web designers perspective and i love how everything flows into each other. everything is both connecting in a color scheme way as well as straight up visual one. all the colors have a strong enough contrast to define things yet not too strong to annoy and distract the viewer. it is really pleasant on the eyes in all. the way it looks without all the extra borders around things and changing to something more simple has really benefited from the design. also layout hasn't changed much but that's honestly a good thing. too much change can confuse many people and considering the amount of people who go on FA you can imagine how much uproar would happen. with the slight changes of things to more suit our other design changes, it really goes to say the Beta version is great.
so i know i haven't been active much and that's kind of because some stuff happened during 8th grade. which started my lack of presence but I've noticed over time i have become more and more scarce especially last year (junior year) but i have been trying to force myself to be social again like i use to. to get the point of this section of the journal is that awhile back i started using other furry sites like weasyl, inkbunny, and sofurry. weasyl has a nice layout but really hard to get any attention from people. inkbunny seems to be homeland of baby furs and it makes me a little uncomfortable. and sofurry is probably my favorite. i started focusing in on it lately so i am probably going to start posting the same stuff on both FA and SF. anyway here is my SF account

RIP Aunt Godzilla [personal emotional story]
Posted 11 years agoonce upon a time when i was still young my mother had asked me i wanted to speak with my aunt Zola on the phone. of course as a child i hadn't completely heard my mom and after taking hold of the phone then called out "Hi Ant GodZiLLa!" this nickname stuck with for many years to come. throughout the years anytime she would be on the phone we would roar at each other playfully. i never really saw her in person much only a few times at family reunions. eventually years go by and i am approaching 8th grade. due to some issues with the school system in the area i lived in i was sent to live with my aunt in Oregon. for the the entirety of 8th grade i stayed with her and our plans were to stay their but things came up and i had to move back to Illinois. which leads us here. senior year of high school waiting to move back to Oregon still and we received news that Godzilla had obtained lung cancer. at first it didn't seem to bad she was going through treatments she seemed to be doing well. unfortunately it didn't stay that way. we recently received news that she was getting worse and had developed another disease which caused her to have complete liver failure. doctors said she had only a few weeks to live. well last Sunday we received notice that her condition had gotten worse and she only had the next few days to live. i went to school the next with the intentions of seeing my councilor about what i possibly wanted to say to her when i decided to call. after school and i got home i walked in normally like any other day and out of no where i was slammed with the news that she had passed away the night before. i feel so guilty because i wasn't the best when i lived with her and wanted to apologize for my behavior back then. but it is too late now. she is gone and i can say anything. i stayed home from school today to wallow in my own self pity and be mad at myself for being so arrogant. RIP Aunt Godzilla. RAWR

Posted 11 years agoso all month i have been trying to make money so i can buy a Halloween costume this year. i know it doesn't sound like an emergency but i really want to prove to myself that i can do this. so i will literally draw ANYTHING. it can be porn with weird fetishes to cute and cuddley fluffy things. i don't care. it also doesn't matter if you buy something small like a chibi to something complex with a background and shading. i just really want to make enough money for the costume in time for Halloween. i only have this week to do so. the time is ticking and i need help.

Posted 11 years ago*sigh* i have been dreading this day for so long and it has finally fallen upon me. my drawing tablet has finally bitten the dust. i have been really trying hard to keep the cord in one piece as much as i could but today in the midst of drawing it finally caved in and stopped working. i honestly don't know if or when i will get a new one though my dad has agreed to try to look into possibly fixing it. so i wont really be posting any art anytime soon(not like i was really posting much lately anyway) regardless of that i still will go on FA everyday even though i don't really do much. i have become to shy to even talk with online friends and just kind of distanced myself from everyone. who knows maybe this might help me get back into talking with my friends. i will also be spending a lot of time on Minecraft(PC) playing on different servers and junk i also am very active on Skype but please if you choose to communicate through Skype please call i am a lazy asshole and really hate typing, but if don't got a mic or anything that's fine too dawg.
so yea.. i guess i will see you all around later then.

Posted 11 years agookay so ranted about this a little to a few of my friends but I'm just going to put this on here for everyone else.
Cuddling
lets say 2 girls get all snugly like at a sleepover or something, most people would just think that they are just being girls and think nothing of it.
so why do people assume that when either girl/guy or 2 guys are cuddling suddenly they are in a relationship. like seriously WTF?! like where is that border between 2 girls cuddling and other gender combo cuddling. why do people assume this. the worst part is that cuddling releases dopamine(the chemical that makes you happy) from your brain. so lets say someone is having a really shitty day and needs some cheering up. cuddling (logically) would be a pretty good choice to make but unless you are a girl AND have female friends your fucking screwed. can we all just agree to make cuddling just a normal thing amongst friends rather than to just girls and couples?

Posted 11 years agofor the past 4 days I've been doing nothing but sleep,drink water, and binge watch movies. my throat felt swollen to the point where i almost couldn't breathe;off and on stuffy and runny nose; sneezing like i was snorting pepper;covering myself in blankets cause i feel like an ice cube but when someone touches my skin it feels like I'm on fire; body temp went up past 100 degrees; coughing and choking on the green mucus monster inside me. alas today has been the first in which i have felt well enough to return to society.almost a magical recovery going from shit to feeling great after a short period of time. anyway it feels so weird like its almost like i have forgotten my own daily routines within those 4 day. hopefully that feeling will pass and i will show more activity here on FA.SPORE!!!1

Posted 11 years agomy schools prom is today and i don't plan on attending since prom is to mainstream. jk but seriously i don't see the purpose in getting all fancied up for some over glorified event for losers who don't know how to have fun on their own. screw that i know how to have a good time without the the over priced tickets, dresses, and dates. i can just crank some tunes and jam at home whenever. so what are your guy's opinion of prom?

Posted 11 years agoOK so back on St. Patrick's Day i dressed up really cute for the occasion. the day was good and filled with much luck, after school i sat on the bus for home. now my bus was super crowded so i had to sit in the back where the all the "Cool Kids" sit. nervous awkwardly not knowing anyone i just sat next to just some guy. as i sit quietly amongst the conversing friends one of them from behind me is showing off a picture to everyone. and surprisingly not only does he show me he tries to actually start a conversation. i respond but quickly withdraw myself after. a little later he complement my hair bow i was wearing. now i have seen this guy before and i kind of admired him from afar and never really had strong enough feeling to try to be friends. so when he does this it really catches me off guard. it even made me smile a little. i did get to my stop shortly after and bid farewell. finally leading into today. on the bus i again was greeted with the overcrowded seats was forced to be sit in the back again. as the buses slowly creeped their way out of the lot and follow their normal paths, the same boy from before came up next to me and began to say he was giving me the item in his hand. he then revealed it to be a bow with cats on it. i was completely taken away by this amazing act of generosity all i felt like i could do was smile and say thank you. throughout the trip home we engaged in mild conversation. mostly he spoke since i was still in much shock from the unexpected gift. i now sit here typing about this tale wearing a bow with cats.

Posted 12 years agoso after my school dance i went to friends house for a sleepover. when we were changing clothes and stripping down. we all decided FUCK BRAS. and well when i participated, it seemed all the girls were in awe of my boobs. i mean i love my boobs but i have always just considered them average. but they went on about how i have perfect breasts, saying things like "they have been perfectly chiseled by the hand of god" and well them saying just gave this really big confidence boost. honestly right now i want to brag about them, shove them in peoples faces and gloat about them.

I mean this is wasn't the first time I skipped just the first time I got caught by the school. anyway I am just sitting in graphic arts now doing nothing since I finished all my assignments.

[today's goal]draw all day (possible free art)
Posted 12 years agoso due to weather I'm not attending school so i have an entire day to myself <3 this will be the first official weekend i can just relax and draw with out any distractions.i would really like to start making commissions again and well ya know its been awhile and I'm not sure anyone still knows i exist. so i what today to be about popping out art and possibly catch the attention of new people and become a bit more known. but i do face one problem, i also have been seeming to lack ideas to draw.
and that my friends is where you come in~
i would like you to give me ideas on what to draw.
now this isn't exactly requests because with requests i would feel bad if i didn't finish them or people would get upset at me if i didn't. so i might draw you something i might not. it all depends on if my brain say "HEY! i really like this idea. lets go for it." and do so. sometimes i might merge 2 ideas or get halfway through a drawing and say "fuck it" and stop. so really you can only get the free art by a chance selection.
keep in mind i am most likely doing this all day today, tomorrow, and Sunday
so don't miss your chance~
p.s its not required but it be nice if you would share this with others < :3 maybe post a journal or promote me in general. please and thank you
