Yiynova tablet monitor
Posted 11 years agoOk so has anyone heard of these? I JUST got mine today and it is the chinese generic of the cintiq wacom tablet monitor. I have been using my for the better part of today and I have to say I am blown away. This products only flaws are that the pen takes a battery, the surface is glass and that it has less resolution than the cintiq. The pressure sensitivity is the same, and it's 19 inches of drawing length, very nice! Best part is it was barely over 1/4 the price of a cintiq. So... please, check it out if you have been wanting a cintiq at a better price. I did HOURS of research on this before I smacked down the $600+. Posted 11 years agoKudos to all you guys who didn't correct my last post when I typoed "focus" with "foxus" lol, i know that must have been rather tempting. I had taken a long break to focus on other types of art, more specifically 3D art. I got fairly good with sculptris and eventually sent in an order to get it printed. Very expensive but worth seeing how it turned out. I am considering getting a 3d printer so I can make figurines, jewelry and.. well really anything. It would be a serious commitment though and you know me. XD Anyways my best friend lives like. right next to me now and she is a great artist, she was the one who started teaching me about digital art. We have been doing collaborations and might become business partners soon. I have a lot of ducks to get in a row though. Anyways I am off to finish backing up my laptop files so I can hard reset my laggy laptop. I have a little art studio in the making. I think a little place of my own will keep my on an artistic path. :3

Posted 12 years agoGOOD MORNING! I know that I have been REALLY sporadic and am trying to get organized and one of the steps I would like to take for that direction is finding out when the best would be for me to stream. I am not saying I would do it daily but at least it would give people a chance to check in and maybe I can even start scheduling them in advanced.
Getting my art mojo back took a little while but I am hoping it stays forever lmao! Lately I am using Photoshop CC/Photoshop Cs6 for my line art and cell shading, then I do the detail work in Sai. I use big resolutions usually around 7000x5000 pixels. My anthro style has been changing (adjusting) as I have been adjusting to the art form. Other than those changes in my spare time I still check out different art programs ranging from sculpting, animating and basic illustration.
Anyways lastly I am so thankful to be getting caught up with the art I owe people lol. I cannot wait to start dishing out some of my own characters and the old ones I have revamped. (NOT TO SAY I HAVEN'T ENJOYED DRAWING OTHER PEOPLES CHARACTERS)

Posted 12 years agoToday I spent hours reteaching myself photoshop since I have been painting landscapes on sai so hopefully I will be productive tomorrow. Also I have been diddly-doing on sculptris , I have actually gotten pretty good, will post pics if interested, it's a 3d sculpting program (and totally free to download).

Posted 12 years agoI could make a million apologies and give you all my reasons for the long absence but it would be very long and all that matters is 1) I am back, 2) I am a better artists 3) my tablet is functional again 4) I have my own art station now! Posted 12 years agoHa ha, no unfortunately! If anyone is curious as to where I have been well here is an update-
I was going to keep my personal life and FA separate but a few of you know I am a 21 year old married mom to a super fun almost 2 year old boy. I finally strangled (joking) the moving date transfer for apartments. When is the date? sep. 26th, the day RIGHT before my sons second birthday. I also have his check up to do so am irritated but mostly just trying to make sure all my ducks are going to be in a row to make the transition as smooth as possible. So I have been packing and sending stuff off to goodwill (lmao we didn't even get everything out of the truck before scavengers arose from nowhere to take our stuff XD ) and packing more. I am a little bit... ok a HUGE hoarder to it is very hard throwing away so many wonderful memories. I have been a little down, not to mention I am experiencing some sort of tummy virus my son passed off to me from his grandmas. I was actually in intestinal distress when I started really missing you guys and felt the need to update yall on what was going on. I have TONS of paperwork and bills and phone calls to make about the switching address so that is going to keep me busy along with the other stuff for a little while. I will try to get on when I can and post art when I can but I promise after this all blows over I will be an unstoppable art machine :3 I get my own art nook and everything. Posted 12 years agoWow today was fun and productive! Got 2 icons and 3 pictures done! Not to mention I just love chatting with people while I draw. I plan on getting even more done on MONDAY, unfortunately not tomorrow because I will be packing to get ready to move next month. I plan on dedicating Sundays to be packing days. Whelp my eyes feel like they are going to melt so I am going to get off here. X3

Posted 12 years agoOk so I JUST made that little craft account (link below) for my little sculptures. I plan on making lots of cute little things and even some fan based objects like pokemon and game characters. It's a fun little hobby for me to do when I can't use my laptop to draw which unfortunately has been quite a bit these past couple of days. My laptop is the one source of entertainment aside from the ps3 in my apartment and it gets used a lot to torrent and watch videos :p Anyways.... I will be posting tonight who I am pairing up with who in requests but I won't ACTUALLY get to requests till Monday. I am working on commissions and Friday is my anniversary. I just wanted to say that I don't mind people reposting my work as long as they give credit. I also love love LOVE gifts! ;A; I never seem to get many gifts, but was so pleased to see that

I do check my Skype daily and enjoy chatting with ya'll on there even if I am busy, I may not be able to chat a TON but if you guys leave me messages I will always take the time to read them just like I do the journals I get. Even if I one day get a hundred journals a day I will skim, *cough cough* though I have been learning that the advertising ones need to get skimmed EXTRA quick. ;) Anyways.... I think that is all I can think of for this journal. I'm about to download breaking bad (which came out today!!!!) and true blood. XD
