Well, hello again!
General | Posted 6 years agoHey FA, how you doin'? Figured I'd give you all an update on what's been happening these past 2 years.
I'm still here in MN living life with my mate, who I am happy to say has finally been promoted to husband! ^v^ If you feel like indulging some curiosity and are okay with seeing my human disguise (*wink*), I've posted a pretty awesome wedding party photo down below. We look like some kind of gangster family and I LOVE IT!

I still work in a clinic lab, but am actually looking to change careers and move over to computer science; just finishing up applying to a pretty comprehensive program that, if I am accepted, will fast-track me into becoming a Java software developer! I would be so honored to represent women in technology, and hubby and I would be both in the same industry so we could swap war stories ;>
I will make no promises about the next update here on FA to any of my info, because, well, it's been two years. However, my Twitter is @kizith, and I try to post life stuff on there a few times a week, so check that out if you want to see what I get up to!

I'll be a sponsor this time around, so look for me with the big shiny STAFF ribbon on my badge and sometimes with a headset if I'm on duty. Hotel is no easy work, yanno! I'll most likely be hanging around 
, so look for them!
Other than that, I'm short, have dark drown hair with a bit of red of the ends and a big grey streak on the top, green eyes. I'll usually be hanging around the Dealer's Den if I'm not on duty, waiting for them to give me all the shinies and avian merch! I tend to be pretty quiet, but you can try shouting "MAGPIE!" and see who looks up; most likely it'll be me.
I AM NOT staying at the hotel this year, so I might have to cut out early at night to drive home (about 30 min from the con). Please try to not to MN goodbye me if you see me leaving; just ask me to text you the next day. I need my sleep for working!

General | Posted 10 years agoSo due to unforeseen expenses (cough healthcare cough) it looks like I'll have to pull out of going to BLFC this year. As a foreign con to me, and never having been to Reno before, I was really looking forward to getting out of the Midwest furry scene and exploring someplace that's a bit warmer! My con buddy will still be there, so say hi if you see him and make sure to get snuggles from all the birds, because winghugs!

So my first big furcon was a resounding success! I had so much fun, met so many cool people, and bought way more than I should have at the Dealer's Den.
Before everyone asks, no, I didn't have any interaction with the chlorine, as
and I were staying at the Aloft, and I was half asleep in bed at the time. was at the hotel for events to unfold, so he should have a story to tell if he wants to. I'll leave that up to him. He did, however have some help in getting ALL the high fives from all the suiters in the fursuit parade, that crazy bastard (which I totally joined in on halfway through)! Still, despite the incident, I believe that the Regency O'Hare is the best place to host so large a con as this, and I had several staffers go out of their way to treat me and other con-goers with respect and courtesy. The hotel staff was the bomb, and its totally appropriate (as I heard through rumors) that they fight over getting to work the con weekend!
So, ohmygosh, I met SO MANY
