New updates: emotes and AI

1: The emotes for the Nogitsune have been finished, so yay! These will be uploaded right after I'm done this journal entry.
2: The main page information has been updated to specify that the contracts with the various artists who have drawn stuff for Saorsa do NOT include provisions for creating AI art from them. This hasn't been asked about, and while I personally can't legally enforce such, I want it to be clear that the artists themselves actually can if they find someone using their art for scraping AI data from. Please be respectful to the artists and ask them directly if you want to do this, and respect their answers. This is not something that I'm interested in doing, so it hasn't come up with my conversations with any of them as I see no real point in trying to create AI art of the Saorsian species. I would much rather all official Saorsa artwork to be made with intent rather than sorta vaguely directing the AI to make something which somewhat resembles such. The artists I use are vastly better than what AI can produce, and I'd rather support/pay them for making such, even if it's more expensive to do so. I'm not willing to cut corners and skimp on quality for Saorsa just because it's cheaper as a general rule. So if you want to ask the artists, go ahead, but I have no real interest in doing so.
The only other thing to mention is the medication changes have been going well, there have been a few hiccups along the way, but I'm in much better shape than I have been, and there will (probably) be new artwork in the (supposedly) near future. My health has been being awful about this though, and throwing surprise complications routinely, so don't hold me to that. The main reason this emote set got done was I'd written up the request descriptions for them ages ago so didn't have to do so in my current state.
Anyway, I need to get these emotes uploaded, which will take a bit of time to tag them properly, so going to go do that now!

Quick update!
Posted 11 months agoI've not updated in a while, but that should be changing in the semi-near future!
Two main things area changing which will lead to such:
1: The medication I've been on which has been leaving me perpetually half asleep has been being phased out, and next week will be discontinued entirely. The current half dose is helping already, and with the full removal it should actually be nice to be awake for the first time in about two years instead of constantly sedated.
2: Student loans are almost done being paid off, estimated time to completion is the end of January, so by February, I should have about $500/month more to spend on art commissions for Saorsa!
With these two things paired together, I should have the money and the capacity to actually think straight again, and it should lead to a lot of new art being added here soon. We'll see how it goes, but things are looking up for the time being!

Caragh Emotes Are Out!
Posted 2 years agoTangerine just finished up the next batch of emoticons for the various Saorsa species, and this time it's the Caragh's turn to take the center stage!
As with all the icons, these are fully available to be freely distributed! Feel free to put them on your discord server, to use in chats and so on! The only limitation is if anyone asks, give credit to Tangerine for having drawn them in the first place, and to let them know they're the Caragh species from the game Saorsa. That's it!
Otherwise, enjoy your 10 brand new, shiny emotes for Caragh!

Game artwork!
Posted 2 years agoSo I've finally gotten around to starting to include the Saorsa tabletop RPG artwork onto FurAffinity. There's a fair bit of it, so it'll take awhile to upload and tag it all properly. A lot of the artists that I work with for producing the game's content don't use FA, and many don't want their private details shared other than to be credited with their name, so I'll be crediting them as much as they'll let me.
Note these are all available for use royalty-free, and this was worked into the original project deals with all of the artists before starting work with them. As mentioned on the front page, you can use this artwork for things like making your own derivative works such as your own game based off Saorsa, as long as you credit the original artist and that it was originally made for Saorsa.
For artists, all of the unique species created for Saorsa are OPEN SPECIES, so feel free to use them as much as you like! I would, of course, appreciate to know that you have done so because it'd be neat to see what you come up with.
