Mom's home and by car is back.......
General | Posted 6 months agoMom's back home, and I think she's okay, but I'm not really sure.
Honestly, I just don’t care anymore. She seems fine and can talk with the nurses and when her are around but, she acts like a jerk towards me and my sister is no better talking down at me when I'm tiring to give her the information but she and every won't let me get a word.
I do a lot for this family, including helping my best friend's family, yet I'm always treated like crap. I constantly sacrifice my time and life for them, and they only seem to care about me ONLY when it’s convenient for them. Now that I have my car back, they’re taking advantage of that too.
I do so much for this family, and this is the thanks I get!

My mom's in the hospital
General | Posted 6 months agoThis morning started off really bad. My mom was coughing and then began having trouble breathing, so I had to call my brother and an ambulance to take her to the ER. I ended up sitting there for hours with my brother while the doctors examined her. They diagnosed her with Human metapneumovirus (respiratory virus), which isn’t COVID-19, but it’s like a cold, only worse.
Thankfully, the medics gave her the right medication, and by the time we got to the ER, she was stable. she has to be hooked up to a ventilator so she can breath.
Nine hours later, she had slightly recovered, but there’s still a long way to go. It's been pure exhaustion for me because I had to stay with her and take calls from family and relatives, as my mom couldn't speak without coughing.
This whole day has been a nightmare. I was there from the morning until 11:00pm and spray the home with disinfectant I can't do much cleaning due to how tired I was, and I have to go back again tomorrow and get the full info of her condition.

General | Posted 7 months agoStill waiting for updates on getting my car back I don't know what my sister's going to do to get it back she's probably found a way to pay it but what I'm worried about is her using this moment against me to guilt trip me to do what she says and I'm not allowed to defend myself, so even when something good happen something bad always happens to me.

I finally managed to set up an imprint store! While Redbubble is great, I find their prices a bit too high. In contrast, Inprint is more affordable and designed with artists in mind.
I’ll be posting all of my prints there, which means all my characters will be available for art prints.
Unfortunately, I haven't found any place that offers print-on-demand for acrylic standees. I know some options exist, but they require bulk purchases, which I can't afford. I'm looking for print-on-demand services similar to Redbubble that can handle acrylic standees and ship directly to customers. If anyone knows of a site that does this, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Bad to worse :( Update
General | Posted 7 months agoMy sister agrees to help me but as usual she goes into her high and mighty talk, talking down at me like I'm an idiot constantly repeating things when I already assume things about me without really knowing me just the usual some old bullshit I've got to deal with with this family.
So now I'm back to job hunting and she's just forcing me to look at grocery stores and hospitals and I can't be in crowded areas like that given my mental health but I can't talk to her about it cuz she doesn't understand and she like how she talked down at me today she doesn't want to and my mom is no better.
Oh yeah even when they try to help me they still treat me as lesser than and talk down at me like I'm an idiot which I probably am.
So now I'm back to square one with the job hunting. I may as well forget about my dream of being an artist cuz you can't make a living off of that and especially not a person of color like me.

General | Posted 7 months agoI'm still unable to get a job, so I've had to resort to gig work, which doesn't pay well. I guess I was just born to be unlucky.
My comic, "The Unraveled Heist," is almost finished, along with "Orbs of Fear," so I'm working on a new comic.
As for my commissions, I'm closing them on DA since I've received nothing but scammers here. This place is not the best for artists trying to make a living. I'm commission are furry based so I'm only putting this on furry sites.
I'm still working on my animation, but I feel like it's not good enough for anything; it just feels like amateur work to me.
I'm still posting art but on ko-fi first so I'm doing more of my updates on there.

My enm/enf stuff
General | Posted 9 months agoI hope you all aren't getting annoyed by the enm /enf art that's been posted, it was the result of me experimenting on my characters due to doing the same type of sfw art for so long I wanted a change, and seeing what works and how to approach them in design and limits cause I want my characters to have a flaws this is how Archer the kangaroo got made.

I just realized my bday is this Friday, not looking forward to that :( I'm not a fan of my bdays especially when it's on a holiday.

Window 11 update and commissions
General | Posted 10 months agoJust like to say thanks to everyone who responded to my journal about Windows 11, It was a really helpful info. I'm planning to get a new computer that has Windows 11.
The current computer I have now is pretty much on its last legs anyway with all the repairs I had to do and backing up files.
So now I have to save up for a new computer which is not going to be easy with all the bills I have to pay. The only downside to this new computer is I have to buy an external dryer for my DVD/CD so it's going to end up being extra.
As a reminder I still have my commissions open and they're going to remain open since I'm unable to get any other job.
The next strip game is almost ready. I just have to fix some things on it and it'll be ready to go.

Windows 11 Question
General | Posted 11 months agoI hear version 10 will end on Oct of this year and everyone will have to update to 11, has anyone have any trouble with it? chase I heard a lot of negative things about it. what's your experience with it?

General | Posted a year agoShould I get a e621 account cause I keep seeing my art get posted there, but with out the context with it or my permission, I do report it and requested to be put on DNP but it looks like no matter what my stuff is going to be posted.
