There's a convention relatively close by to me and it's located at the Kalahari in the Wisconsin Dells. It's about a 3-4 hour drive from me and sadly I don't drive. Would just need a ride to there and possibly home, if anything. I know it's a quarter of the year away, but a friend of mine really wants me to go with her again to another convention. We had fun at FurSquared in February of this year and I hope I can see her again.

As the title says, I am in need of a room for FurSquared this weekend. I just found out that I need a room for the convention from a friend and I am in a state of panic about this. If you have room for a person, please let me know here or in a note. This was unexpected and in need of help with this. I can pitch in some money for buying groceries and food for the convention.

That's right, FurSquared's coming up really soon in my area and I am so excited to go again! I went there last year with a friend and had a lot of fun, looking forward to going even more this year. I plan to cosplay at the convention, to my knowledge I'm going on the Saturday of the convention~! Hey, looks like I reached 300 pageviews! Thank you all so very much for helping me reach such a big goal on here! I may not post a whole lot of art here, but I try my best to post it when I can. Right now I'm recovering from a loss of two best friends that stopped being friends with me recently for reasons that will not be mentioned. This is not what this journal is about. This is a special journal for some people I think deserve to be mentioned here. These are the following people that deserve this.

She definitely deserves to be featured/mentioned here. Why? For the longest time, I loved her work so much, and so mind blown on how fully detailed she does her drawings. Until recently, I was so nervous to join her streams because of being really shy and making a bad impression. Not only that, but I didn't want to be some kind of creepy person who creeped her out. But when I joined her stream for the first time earlier this week? Wow, I was so glad I joined! I had such a fun and wonderful time in her stream, and joined in very well with the others watching Rei draw in her stream. They were all so friendly! Rei even noted me back, after I gave her the info I needed to give her for a custom character I asked if she could draw for me. She said that I was so much to talk to and enjoyed my company in her stream. That made me so happy, that I had tears of happiness roll down my face. Just from how much her words meant to me. Last week I had the worst week in my life, but she made my day when I joined her stream. She thinks she needs to improve and she was sad with herself and how she drew her art. What I told her? She's a legendary artist to me with so much talent, and I love her work so much. Go check her work and you will agree with me that this girl is a legendary artist.

One worked for the site for two years as a dedicated forum moderator, one was an artist who was forbidden to disclose her position. They were both banned from the site and forums because they brought to light the behavior of administration and how the site is run.

Evidence was provided to support their claims, but it led to them being permanently banned and kept from speaking their stories. Anyone who was found to be reposting the evidence on Fur Affinity was immediately suspended. The site has a long history of misleading it’s users, riding on broken promises and refusing to communicate with the fandom.

We cannot tolerate this forever and demand changes and answers now. The head of the website who has been silent and the rest of administration must be held accountable and provide the transparency that was promised to us.

Renashe's the most sweetest, kindest, and big-hearted gal I've known here. I'm doing everything I possibly can to help her get through all this. Well, most of you here aren't aware of this, I'm sure, but today is my birthday. Not only mine, but it's also Snoopie's birthday, too, from Charlie Brown.

Some of you already know what happened, but for those who don't know... My grandma passed away early in the morning on the 21st of this month. It's been hard for my family to handle. My mom even told me that she feels like crying sometimes because she misses her so much. I honestly don't blame her. She was a really good person, and always there for us. My oldest sister and her girlfriend have been getting visits from my grandma, since they live in her old house. From what my mom has told me, it's been 3 times so far. She would always spoil her grand kids, and she would always love my company because out of all of them, I was her most well-behaved, haha... At least she's in heaven now, watching over me and my family... Really gonna miss her. Was gonna make this journal a few days ago, but... ya know. She passed away from lung cancer. Thank you for taking the time to read the journal. Hope you all enjoy your evening/day.

Also, the week after my grandma passed away, my family's dog, Nala, passed away from a disease she got. We all miss her very much, and cried when we took her to the vet to put her down... Just a few days ago, the vet mailed us a card with Nala's paw prints on it, which was really nice of them to do. We will never have another Nala, and we will never forget her...

From what my mom told me yesterday, my grandma has a cancer called Glandular Lung Cancer. It's spread to her bones and she has tumors in weird places. One of them is near her spine, which is the reason for her pain when she walks. The cancer specialists said that it's treatable, but it's not curable, which means she will have this for the rest of her life. As for how long she has to live, we won't know until she gets the results next week. She has to go for radiation and chemo until they can know for sure that the tumors have shrunken down enough. How she reacts to the treatments will be all up to her body at this point. We won't know if the treatments are working until we hear from her or she gets more information from the cancer specialists she went to. She will lose her hair from the treatment as well, but my grandma was already aware of that. All we can do is hope and pray that she will get to live for a long time. I've been feeling better thanks to a few friends of mine who have been talking to me, playing on the xbox with me, talking with me on skype, in texts, etc.. Once my mom hears more about my grandma's cancer, I will let you all know.

Edit: The cancer's spread to her bones, and the lymph nodes in her lungs. She has tumors in her hips as well.

As the title of this journal says, there are some thing(s) that I feel like I should talk about, so it's not affecting me as much. Last week my grandma has found out that she has cancer. What kind of cancer it is, neither me nor my family know what it is yet. She's supposed to go see a cancer specialist this week to find out about it. For the first time in years, my grandma's being positive about the situation and getting this whole cancer thing taken care of. When my mom told me all of this... I felt like I was going to cry. I'm really close to my grandma. She picks me up from work on Mondays and Wednesdays, then drops me off at my house. She likes to spoil me a lot, and in a way, I'm her favorite because of how much we get along together. I felt my heart ache and pain after hearing the news that she has cancer... Out of all my family, this whole thing has gotten to me the hardest. I honestly don't know what I'll do when/if she goes. All we can do is hope and pray that whatever kind of cancer my grandma has, can be treatable. The reason why I'm telling you all of this because when the day of reckoning comes... I don't think I will be able to recover from it for the longest of times. Nothing will be the same, and it would be really hard for me to get used to that. My guess is that it'll take me months to recover and get over it. She's still alive today, but she can hardly walk anymore because of the cancer. Some people already know of my grandma's condition already, since I told them. None of us know how long she has to live, but we are all still waiting to hear about it from my grandma when she goes to her appointment this week. If you are talking to me on the phone, in an xbox live party, skype, or whatever device that lets you talk around the world, and I don't talk as much, it's because of what I said. I have been and still do worry about her everyday. I'm not asking for attention, nor pity, sympathy or anything like that. All I ask is that you try to understand this and don't think of me wrongly for posting a journal like this. I'm posting this to let you all know about why I haven't been so talkative in some things, etc. When she does pass... I will most likely be taking a break from here for a little while or awhile. For how long, it will depend on how long it takes me to recover. I will make a separate journal about when I take a break so there's no confusion. I will be active now, obviously. Like I said, I'm just letting everyone know what's going on.
