small update - still alive
Posted 11 years agoNot dead, but wow, time goes by fast when you're doing pretty much the same thing every single day.
As some of you know that also follow narco, she's been having some minor medical issues lately that I've been trying to help with costs for by pulling extra shifts. She gained a second job, but at the same time, her first one drastically cut both her hours and our roommates more than in half in order to 'train' their new manager 'properly' which has taken a large chunk out of the overall funds of the house. On top of that, Narcos other job has recently chosen to put her on unpaid medical leave for the next month, effective immediately, so the small safety net of money we had in the bank is quickly disappearing and if I can pick up more hours, I will try to. Art, right now, does not pay out as much per hour worked as my regular job does, and lately, making sure we can afford our bills has been top priority so we aren't kicked out of the apartment, which has also caused my anxiety issues to flare up again, but I have been trying very hard to keep everything in check, and resumed sessions with my therapist (thank goodness 90% of that is covered by insurance already).
Loaf(Formerly Cream, because Loaf fits him much better) has adjusted really well to the apartment, and I will still be working on the pictures form the fund raiser. I'm so sorry it's taken so long, but I thank you all again for your help.
Like I said, I'm not dead, but I've had nearly no time at all to myself between getting up, going to work for 10-11 hour days, coming home and then promptly face-planting to bed to do it all over again and again. I've made some small progress with art work that I will be posting updates over the next few days and address any refund requests as they pop up (a few people noted me about them and I'm very sorry I haven't been on to read them)
AT THIS TIME if you had not paid for a commission, or it was one that was just talked about, it is null. Keep the information for it handy, but unless something has been previously paid for, it's not even on my radar at the moment. Everything else is still going to be finished unless refunds are indeed requested. It has been a bit since some asked for refunds, and if you would still like them, please let me know again so we can work out details, and I will try to get the money back to you as soon as I am able.
Again, I apologize for my absence. Simply not logging on is not my intended way to deal with stress right now, but I end up doing it unconsciously, and it's just dawned on me that my last posting was in February, and it was suddenly May.

Trying to save a sweetheart cat from a kill shelter!
Posted 11 years ago$331/$550 ($300 deposist here+$250 deposit at the new place)
EDIT 3: The apartment won't budge on letting us bring him in a few days early, so for now, he's going to go to a short term foster family/cat boarding house so he won't be accidentally adopted out. They can't officially let us adopt him until we have all of the paperwork and legality stuff settled with our current complex (and there also might be slight hold for them to make sure that our new apartment is also ok with us having him and our deposit is squared away, or at least 'on the bill' for move in). Right now we're looking at one more week before he can actually come home, as an estimate, but we're free to visit him in the coming week while he's on a kitty vacation(their words not mine).
Part B(Kitties times two?): The Cat boarding place has a cat there that was abandoned, more or less, by his owners. His original pick up date was back around thanksgiving, but he's been with them since July. The lady that owns the boarding house has been taking care of him, but hasn't had any contact with the original owners for months and is looking to take legal action to both claim the missing payments for his care, and find him a new home. The idea came up that possibly, if he and our big guy get along, we might be able to take him as well, but it all hinges on if Cream Loaf is good with other cats, as his records mention nothing on how friendly he is with other animals, but his personality is so laid back, that I don't think there will be too much trouble *and he was fine with most of the other cats that were in the cat area at petsmart.* The other cat, Roman, is a GIANT black fluffball of a cat (Think sterotypical fluffy halloween cat and you've got it), and is very cat friendly. In the time he's been there, he only had problems with one of the boarded cats, and it was mostly because the other cat was not socialized to other animals at all. This would end up doubling the new pet deposit, but the second $250 could be squeezed into the second months rent payment(according to the landlady of the new place) if we end up able to take him too.
Minor Edit 2b: OK, so something we hadn't thought about, it takes 2 to 5 business days to transfer money from GoFundMe to a bank account. Tiny tiny setback, but we'll still be following through with the morning's plans to visit Petsmart and talk to our landlord about letting the deposit slide for a handful of days while the money transfers. They're kind of a dick, but hopefully not so much of a dick that they'll make us wait.
EDIT 2: We've got the adoption fee and the pet deposit for the current apartment handled! Well, gathered. We're going to go talk to both OCAS and our apartment about getting the ball rolling(as well as inquiring if the pet deposit will be refunded after we move out*fingers crossed*) I don't know when we'll actually be able to bring Cream home because of different processes and stuff. They may hand him over to us tomorrow, they may need to do a sort of 'background check' to make sure everything is ok on our end before we get him, but I'll keep people posted! Thank you all so much so far! :3
EDIT: Donation Art related Information will be gathered/asked for starting this weekend.
OK. So... I'm... kind of not sure how to feel about this, but going over our budget, this is the best idea we could think of right now. There is sort of a TL;DR at the end.
http://www.gofundme.com/2y65uk
Narco, myself, and our other soon-to-be room mate have fallen in love with an adorable lovable loaf of a cat(and by loaf I swear this guy is a beefy 25 pounds of cat muscle or something) named cream. He's currently being hosted at our local petsmart and we've seen him there for a couple weeks now.
Now I don't take adopting new animals lightly, and as much as I love and gush over animals, cats especially, because reasons, adopting and actually living with any specific one is very serious business, and not every animal will mesh with everyone.
This guy is different. Like really different. He's loving and sweet but he's got this somber intelligence behind his eyes that makes me think he knows the situation he's in. Like this wasn't the first time he's had owners have to give him up and send him back to the bad place with the cold metal cages. At first he was just another cat at the adoption place. We stopped by and played with them all like we typically do, because cats, and I didn't bat too much of an eye, but as all the others kept getting changed out and adopted (mostly kittens, because fuck kittens, they always get adopted), being a 3 year old adult male cat makes him pretty much shit out of luck. Which made me feel bad for him, but still not really enough to break down and want to take him home. Each week though when we stopped in to get snake food, we'd go in and hang out with the cats for a bit, and while he's always been just a loaf (a term not used lightly. We've seen the petsmart people go about cleaning the cages and he'll just lay there and make the person wipe the bottom of the cage around him like he fucking owns the place and couldn't give less of a shit) he'd started to perk up and actually come to the cage door and meow and headbutt the door for our attention.
Tonight we stopped in again after I got off from work and picked up the roomie to be to go get dinner and snake food again. Cream greeted us with gusto again, though he was a little less interested in the new roomie, he warmed up to her very quickly. He clicked with all three of us, which isn't something I'd really expected.
Que petsmart employee to come in and tell us he's only got a couple weeks left before what the kill shelter oh so nicely calls his 'OUT date'. And he would only be with this particular store for another week or so, so going back to the shelter itself, which has a surplus of Christmas kittens as is would be an absolute death sentence for him, regardless of his euthanasia date. We asked if there would be any way for them to hang on to him for us if we adopted him right there, but their store policy pretty much outlaws that. Once a pet is someone else 'property' they can't keep it. We called the shelter to see if they would be able to house him an extra 2 weeks over their planned, and they also declined. Given a list of various other cat rescues, the best they could come up with, at present, is a $15 a day boarding service, which would end up just as much as paying the full pet deposit here in the mean time. On top of that is another pet deposit for the new apartment.
All in all, the total to adopt and house him between now and the new apartment comes to about $550 that's outside of our currently tight budget. With help from the new roommate in the new apartment, providing food, vet care, and other things will be no problem, but there here and now puts us at a disadvantage on funds.
We've set up a GoFundMe site to try to bring this big guy home, and donations won't be without rewards for anything over $10.
http://www.gofundme.com/2y65uk
$10 = quick headshot sketch from myself or Narco
$25 = quick full body sketch from myself or Narco
$50 = a spot in a group picture, full color, collabed between myself and Narco, plus a headshot sketch from one of us
$100 = a spot in the group picture, a collabed full color 2 character piece from us, and a headshot sketch
These will be done as soon as we can. At present, we'll still be working on our current commissions, but we're bordering on the side of desperate to save this guy right now. We'd like most, if not all donations to be done through GoFundMe, but ones done directly through paypal will also be graciously accepted (and we'll try to keep up with adding them manually so the total collected is accurate). http://www.gofundme.com/2y65uk
There is the TINIEST part of me that feels guilty about asking for help with this, but it's the best way we can think of making the extra money, as our usual commission art makes up for the last bit of needed fundage for bills, food, and gas...

Comic Project, Commissions, Project Phoenix and other sites
Posted 11 years agoSince FA seems to be blazing about this project Phoenix fiasco, here's my simple stand. Keep your personal stuff private and on with the updates. I don't really give a fuck who did what or who's more right. To quote some Lion King bullshit, "It doesn't matter. It's in the past." If things were to a point of being THAT serious, police action would/should have been taken, but everyone knows how furry drama flings a couple people doing some stupid things out of proportion when one half of said party is a well known fur and the other half's public image is painted a 'damsel in distress'. No, it might not have been right, stupid things were done, but over the last few years of the general public has gotten so damn trigger happy and hyper sensitive to things that don't line up with their personal moral compass you can't wipe your ass in a public restroom without someone being offended.
That said, UNLESS I KNOW YOU PERSONALLY AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WE MIGHT TALK OVER SKYPE ABOUT STUFF, DON'T BRING THIS SHIT TO MY PAGE. I don't give a fuck. Thank you and have a nice day.
On other sites
I think I'm on Sofurry? I don't remember, I never go on there or log on if I am. I do have a Weasyl, and I probably need to upkeep that site better with posting, but I'm a lazy shit. Am I going to move sites? No, cause shutting out FA just because of a few bugs here and there (that get annoying to the point of wanting to rip hair out) would be stupid because yes, it's still a very populated site and a great mass of commissioners swear by it still. Yes, there were issues with Weasyl at the beginning about moral bullshit and people have issues with them too. So fucking what? It's another canvas to throw art at and possible gain more watchers (gosh that sounds awful, but from a business stand, it's true!). If I didn't hate Deviantart with a passion, and also, not be able to post 80% of my work on there because it's pornographic, I'd probably be on there too. Tumblr's just too much for me to deal with. I may create a small portfolio blog because I'm dumb at websites and creating one for myself is outside of my skill levels.
In conclusion, I'm expanding, but I'm still going to be here as well.
Lastly, Commissions and the Comic Project! (Oh boy! this is the fun one)
I really want to work on the comic, and I will be running something of a poll for this in the next couple of days, but I would like people to think on this first.
Commission work and Comic work both take A LOT of time. IF I start working more on the comic, commissions will come slower and farther between. I will also be asking a bit more actively for donations towards the comic if I start working on it more regularly. I've been working on a lot of back end work for it between scripting and actually hashing out the smaller steps of the storyline (The whole thing is plotted out roughly with bits and pieces from the later on chapters more fleshed out, but working out details with the early pages has been getting a lot more attention).
And yes, I'm still aware of the few that have donated for cameo spots. Those have been worked in and as I get closer to said pages, I'll be contacting people to double check designs are the same and other little details.
These are the points were I'm stuck, though.
Style
At present, I would love to do the comic 100% in my full colored style with slightly less detailed backgrounds, most likely inking background lines and coloring them as such instead of the normal painterly feel I do. However, this is the longest, most time consuming style for the comic, and would take the biggest chunk out of actual commission time.
Another option is to use a style more similar to my colored sketches. It would look a lot rougher, but I would be able to turn out pages much faster, I think.
The final option would be to go full sketch, forgoing color on it for majority of the pages. Certain pages would be done up better, but the majority would just be quick sketches, and would be the fastest way to get the story out.
Pacing
Not so much for story telling, but for how often the pages would be posted.
The current option is the 'when I can' method, which has ended up with a multi month hiatus. This is obviously not working, but lets me focus majority of my time on commissions. At present, I barely have time to art for myself at all, focusing 95% of my spare time on working on art for commissioners, but this is also necessity to help take care of bills. I can really only justify working on the comic when I have donations come in for it so I don't NEED to focus on said commissions. That said, comic related donations haven't been much of a thing at all, hence the long pause.
If I set up a monthly/bi-monthly/weekly posting schedule, I would need a bare minimum of donations to counter the time lost for commission work that I'd be spending on the comic.
Alternately, but similar to the incremented style, if I set up a designated amount needed to reach the next page, it could be a floating schedule where each time the page goal is met, I drop everything and focus on the next page of the comic. This would take precedence over regularly commissioned work until that page is finished and posted, though I worry that when the comic lulls, it would end up screeching to a halt because the current action isn't engaging enough to garner funding.
THEN there's the idea of running a kickstarter or a go-fund-me thing to get this going, but that might just get messy, haha.
I would like to get this comic stuff figured out by the end of the month, starting with February as the official relaunch for the comic, but we'll see.
Also, early March, I will be moving again, but the move in period of days shouldn't be too bad. It's right around the corner from our current place, and we don't need to move everything in one go! Just a heads up.
EDIT: Also I worked on a few things but managed to jump around enough that most aren't at 'postable' levels *sigh* I'll be working on cleaning some things up and finishing others up today/tomorrow, as well as starting the sketches for the new round of commissions.
That said, UNLESS I KNOW YOU PERSONALLY AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WE MIGHT TALK OVER SKYPE ABOUT STUFF, DON'T BRING THIS SHIT TO MY PAGE. I don't give a fuck. Thank you and have a nice day.

Weekdays = dead time for me + Housesitting this weekend
Posted 11 years agoOn break at work and I realized I probably should post up something.
Right now, I'm realizing that work is taking a lot more out of me than it used to. We've been a little more busy with the start of the new year than in the later bit of last year, so days have been a bit longer. Doesn't sound like much in the short run, but by the time I'm getting home, I've got time to take care of my house chores, eat dinner, and then it's about my 'bed time' or what I'm trying to make my bed time. I've been using melatonin as a sleep aid to get my day-night schedule on a somewhat better cycle so that when I do get home from work, I'm not 100% dead tired already. Since the holidays I've been dealing with some not quite mild insomnia, so I've been getting 2-4 hours of sleep each night, roughly, which by the end of my actual work day has left me completely useless. Not that I could sleep right away after that for some reason, but hey, that's the problem.
THAT said, during the week, if I'm scarce, that's why. However I'm going to be focusing on art during the weekends... But this weekend sucks slightly, as the house we're sitting at doesn't have a wireless we can really hook in to, and in order to get internet, we need to go find a wifi friendly restaurant that will actually allow us to get on FA and doesn't have it as a pre-blocked site for ~pornography~
I've got several references saved to the computer, so I will be working on things in the next few days, and will probably post a smattering of pictures up once we get back from house sitting.

Art Slave Auction Bidder Retracted Bid (current High $350)
Posted 11 years agoSo the high bid is no longer $700. The auction is sitting at $350 as the high bid with 30 as the total hours. The next tier up is 35 hours @ $425.
The auction ends on the night of January 11th at midnight eastern standard time, so there are still 3 more days to bid. As a reminder, only the first $100 must be paid within the first 3 days after the auction ends, and the rest can be paid in increments as we go.

Art Slave Auction-Ends Jan.11 @11:59PM HighBid $350/30hrs
Posted 11 years agoHere is the quick run down.
Auction will end January 11th at 11:59 PM, which is one minute BEFORE midnight on Saturday night, EASTERN STANDARD TIME (Or east coast USA)
Please reply to the previous bidder.
There is no starting bid
There is no auto-buy
Minimum Bid increase is $5
Snipe guard will be 24 hours so ensure every timezone has a chance to put in a last bid if they are outbid at 11:58 PM Saturday night..
What you will be getting:
30 hours* of art streaming time for you
- - -Art Discussion is not included in this time. We will figure out what I'll be drawing for you off the clock.
- - -Any breaks more than 2 minutes at a time will pause the timer.
- - -Streams will be done in 2 to 5 hour chunks that will be scheduled.
- - -If YOU miss a stream time(first 30 minutes after I send you a note-link to the join.me session) the stream will be canceled and bumped to the next scheduled stream time. No time will be added or lost for missed streams by the winner.
- - -If I miss a stream time (No stream note in the first 30 minutes of the scheduled time) one hour of extra time will be added to the remaining total hours of stream time (example, 6 hours were still to be streamed and I missed a stream date, you will then have 7 hours of stream time) This will also count if I have to cut a stream short before the 2 hour minimum. If I need to leave a stream after the 2 hours of art mark, no additional hours will be added. Additionally, if I need to cancel a stream before the date of the stream, additional hours will not be added(the main reason for this would be taking
narcotic-sprinkles to work, as she works evenings usually once or twice a week.)
- - -Art Slave Streams can be scheduled up to 3 times a week. Any time on Saturday and Sunday, but after 7 PM Eastern standard time Monday through Friday.
- - -Art Slave Art will be anything goes. With the exception of not doing anthro work, my standard drawing rules will not apply to this stream time.
- - -As an anything goes stream, there may/will be certain pieces of artwork that I may request not be linked to my name in any way. Just saying.
*10 hours is the starting time for the auction. As the bidding increases, so will the time:
$150 = 15 hours
$200 = 20 hours
$275 = 25 hours
$350 = 30 hours
$425 = 35 hours
$600 = 40 hours
$800 = 45 hours
$1,000 = 50 hours
IF this goes higher than $600, I may add more tiers.
Payment:
If bidding remains under $150, the payment must be made in full within 3 days of the auction end.
At $150, the first payment will be for the initial 10 hours. Payments over $150 will be broken up into the tier increments and must be paid before those hours will be streamed. (example, bids reach 25 hours, but only $200 have been paid for, the remaining 5 hours will not be scheduled/streamed until the last payment is made and so on). These will not be set up as weekly or monthly payment plans, however, if the winner does not pay in their next increment within 2 months of the last scheduled stream session (without notifying me of personal life issues and things like that that may make payments difficult or impossible for a few months time) the remaining unpaid hours of the auction will be FORFEIT and the auction agreement will null. Examples of valid reasons include medical issues, loss of job, cut hours, moving, family tragedy, new additions to the family, meteor strike, war, zombie attack, dinosaur revolution, second coming of Christ, or other serious thing. Miscalculation of art funds, or 'i just don't have the money right now' are not valid excuses. Seriously. If something comes up, just let me know.
Additionally, you may choose to pay your chunks in full all at once, or pre-pay tier increments whenever you'd like.

Art Time Estimates (based on full bodied pieces)
5-15 minutes would include quick sketches, still a bit messy, but if there are a lot of ideas, it's a good way to get them out, and they can always be refined later on.

Three commission slots -Closed-
Posted 11 years agoTo be completed AFTER the current queue. I've gotten a couple of notes from people asking when I would be opening these slots since my estimate was last weekend, so I figured I could post for slots now, but please be aware that the current to-do list will take major priority, and these may take until the end of january or longer to complete. Also, to those familiar with my policies, I do NOT take deadlines. Period. However I will be trying to make it a point to get commissions done in a much more timely manner than in the semi recent past, and make the turn around time for NON-Background pieces closer to a week, and pieces with backgrounds around a month as the 'longer' wait times rather than a couple weeks or months in some cases.
For these slots, I WILL NOT BE DOING BACKGROUNDS ON THESE PIECES. I will keep sai files for background upgrades in the future, however, but I will not be accepting payment for the backgrounds at this time.
Things that can be commissioned may range from sketches to shaded and all in between, including reference sheets. Super simple, implied backgrounds (see commission info tab for prices and examples) will be permitted.
POST BELOW to request a slot and let me know what type of commission you would like. I MIGHT take more than three if there are smaller commissions (sketches and colored sketches).
As a heads up, I will be posting a journal for the art slave auction tomorrow, since work was pretty long today, and my brain is ready for bed. I will also be working on art tomorrow afternoon for a good chunk of time, and may stream while doing BG work on current commissions.

holiday crap and a bit of commission stuff?
Posted 11 years agoSO I got hit with a slight wave of seasonal depression and stress the last few days at work, which sort of drew into yesterday, and now into today as well. Art kind of ground to a halt, but holy crap there is so much holiday stuff to get done for family things in the next couple of days, I will probably still be a bit scarce as far as being visibly active online with people and doing art things and the like.
I will still be working on things, though, but in little bursts here and there, and hopefully be able to get a few more things posted before the actual holiday hits. The little bursts are just so sporadic I have no idea when they'll be happening, and they aren't really long enough for me to stream or chat if I actually want to get some work done, too.
As another reminder, I think there are still a small handful of outstanding commissions that are not on my list , but I might be wrong. If I do owe you something and it's not on my to-do list, or you haven't brought it up to me recently on my to-do lists comments (see link below) then please let me know IN THAT JOURNAL.
Lastly, Commissions will be opening next weekend. I will only be opening for small commissions (sketches, flats, shaded without backgrounds) to start with, and I will only be taking 3 of those. However, I will also be setting up an art slave auction, that will start at 10 hours of streamed art time with an anything goes (yes, anything, lord help me) theme. Bids will start at $25. at $150 I will add another 5 hours (15 total), at $250 I will add another 10 hours (25 total), and at $325 I will add another 5 hours (30 total). I will not exceed a total of 30 streamed hours. Hours of work will include actual work. Pauses for discussion of pieces and personal breaks will stop the clock. if my pen leaves the tablet for more than 2 minutes, the clock will be paused appropriately. Stream times will be done in 2 to 5 hour chunks, but no more than 5 hours at a time (as I will still be working on other artwork) and will happen up to 3 days a week over time. You must be present for stream. If you can't make it to a scheduled stream it will be bumped to the next day as a default until we figure out a new time (so if the next day, same time is fine, we just leave it at that.) If I miss a stream without clearing it the day before, I will add 1 extra hour to your total hours, free (this can go over 30 if needed).
I work a basic 8 hour day monday to friday most weeks (occasionally pulling saturdays as well when it gets busy) but the times I work may fluctuate by a few hours (usually it's between 7-9 in the morning to 3-6 at night, give or take).
I'll post a better made up thing of this later in the week once all of it is figured out, but this is a little bit of a heads up on what to expect. I will also post up general times spent on different levels of pieces (sketches, flats, colored, BG stuff and so on).

No stream tonight
Posted 11 years agoI know I said I was going to try, but I ended up spending an extra couple of hours at work today, then did a chunk of cleaning around the house and I'm beat, so I'm just gonna go pass out for the night .
Alt contact info (in case of FA down time)
Posted 11 years agoI added this to my profile info earlier, but I figured I might as well post up a journal for those that don't check there often.
IN the event of another epic down time for FA, I also have a weasyl account: https://www.weasyl.com/profile/knon
And my skype is: knonfelidae
But yeah~ I'd forgotten to link my weasyl to here before, but it was a thing that existed, and my skype has been public for a good while now.
Also I might be streaming stuff: https://secure.join.me/589-845-406

MIGHT OPEN FOR COMMISSIONS SOON!
Posted 11 years agoJust a heads up, I'm almost done with the non-extended-project commissions!
Just waiting on a bit of feedback for sketches from a few people, and knocking out the BGs on a few others.

Do I owe you a commission?
Posted 12 years agoSo, as said a few times in various places, the last few months have been hectic as hell with medical stupid.
If you've paid me for a commission, but haven't received it, please post a comment IN MY COMMISSION QUE JOURNAL to let me know what kind, and I'll go back and dig through notes for the details on it. I'm officially back open for notes again, but please, I am NOT taking any more commissions for the foreseeable future, so please do not ask right now. Again, please let me know for PAID commissions. If you did not pay for your piece yet, it will not be added to the current 'to do' list, but will still hold you a place when I do consider reopening commissions.
Right now, my goal is to HOPEFULLY get all of the commissions currently waiting finished before the new year, work permitting. I'm just trying to get everything under control and organized so I can get things finished up quickly and start the new year with a clean slate.

Finally going to the doctor
Posted 12 years agoabout this shit. I've been feeling like the rear side of a mule (no offense) for the better part of three weeks, now, and I've finally got an appointment with a doctor in the area to see about my various issues. My usual meds don't seem to be working like they used to, so I may be changing over to a new perscription as well, which usually means I'm going to nosedive for a few days while my body goes through the detox process and readjusts to the new stuff.
Which is always fun.
To the guys that I usually talk with, I'm so sorry I haven't been online much/at all. I've been feeling like shit and for the most part, when I've been getting home from work, I go lay down on the couch and just... sleep. Or sometimes I make it to my room. but aside from being at work most of the day time, I haven't done really much of anything else.
The current temp job position is over now, though, and I'll be starting up the new one in a few days, wednesday, I think. I need to double check. I'll try to get some art stuff taken care of in the next couple days I'm off, but I don't know if I'll really be able to.
I just wanted you all to know that I wasn't dead, haha.

been awol
Posted 12 years agowhich I'm sure people have noticed, but my brain is full of fuck and my stomach hasn't been able to keep much of anything down for like the past week, and I've been having to go to work still because my job says fuck you, you're a temp, go temp you little temp, and fuck them and I hate the world and narco has been bringing me soup which has been awesome until it doesn't want to stay with me and I drew a thing which I'll post in a moment but I just kind of want to go back to being dead again because I don't think I've really been consious at home for more than about three hours in the last week while I've been at the house and punctuation is overrated.
I'll look at notes and shit later. I'm going to go die again.

Happy fourth! Sketch stream today!
Posted 12 years agoOOPS... Computer bliped hardcore....
New stream link~
Stream interrupted by family togetherness time.
Yep, today is a day of sparklers,
grilling, and obscene amounts of watermelon consumption with a lemonade chaser!
And I will be spending it inside on the computer. Mostly. Fireworks tonight, of course. Hopefully we don't get rained out. *Damn summer showers.*
I'll be doing in stream timed commissions today, because it's a holiday and I don't feel like working on anything super polished right now! If there's time and people would like, I can add simple coloring to these too. I can do one full sketch and work on it the entire time, or if you've got a longer time slot and want a bunch of quick sketches, that works too. There will also be no character limit, so if you'd like to push how many characters can get squeezed into a time slot, feel free, haha. Sketches will start off with a very quick, very messy placement sketch and be refined from there, so, the more that's squeezed into a slot, the messier it's likely to be.
Pricing will be based on $1 = 2 minutes of sketching time, with 10 minutes being the lowest time frame I'm willing to go, just because that's about as fast as I think I can make a half decent sketch.
Time won't start until I actually start sketching, and if I end up having to stop, or if a sketch takes me too much 'busy' time trying to work out a pose, I may add more time on to accommodate my personal art flails, haha. Or, ya know... I'll just the stop watch for a few minutes.
I don't know how long I'll be doing this, but as far as I am aware, my plans are free for the next... 8 or so hours, but I don't know how much of those 8 hours I'll actually be streaming. I may stop after 5, I may stop after 2 and pick up again 2 hours later....also I'm horrible about remembering to take down journals/change them when I stop.
If I do stop and restart though, I'll be posting up a new journal when I restart with a fresh link!

Old journal post is old. Ignore from here down
It's just past 7am and I'm unforgivably awake on a day when I forgot I didn't have work. If I do, I'd like to try something a bit different with timed slots, $5 for 10 minutes, $10 for 20, $15 for 30, $30 for an hour maybe?
Not sure what I'm going to do with today just yet, since festivities won't really start until sundown.... Hmmm.
We'll see how it goes.
