Selling Wolf Fursuit! (attempt number two..)
Posted 10 years agoso if you saw my last journal you know the situation, the winning bidder couldn't pay :/ I know I said I'd wait until I was back from Jacksonville to relist her but instead I'm going to increase the auction to 10 days that way ill be back by the time it ends for sure. Plus I have eBay on my phone so I can still monitor it.
I guess ill repaste my reason for selling her:
Hey guys! Wow, long time no see, I have like 26,000 messages haha.
anyway I've only ever worn Kobalt about 3 or 4 times - I just can't seem to find the time and fur suiting isn't really my thing. I'm going off to college soon and she's a big load a need to kind of get off my hands, so it's time for me to say goodbye to her.

The person I commissioned did a beautiful job on her and she's in great condition, I'd hate to let that fursuit sit in my closet until it dusts. Ive made time to brush it and clean it often to make sure that hasn't happened so far haha.

Posted 10 years agoPeople, it's common sense - don't bid on items you can't afford!!
I purposely listed my fursuit at a certain time so that I would be able to use the money from it on a vacation I'm going on. Posted 12 years agoHow convenient that its sunny everyday this week, including today, but it rains on the one day - Saturday - that I have an important event. Thus ruining my plans for this AND next week T_T'
My taekwondo studio was hosting an in-house tournament, and because we are next to a football field, we scheduled to have it there (shoving 100 families into the tkd place is not an option, and they don't want to rent a gym.) So, because it HAD to rain, we had to cancel and they rescheduled for the Saturday of AWA.
That was the one day I'd planned to cosplay - my friend and I had worked everything out, gotten someone who was going to schedule a photoshoot with us, yeah. . . just my luck.
So I emailed AWA and had them transfer my membership to 2014. If I can't go Saturday its just not worth going; I'd rather wait till next year and go all 3.
This really sucks...

I haven't attended any fur cons yet, which really sucks :c I was busy the day of FWA and I don't feel comfortable suiting at regular cons [boy, that was a mistake ^^']
Truth be told, I might have to end up selling the suit. With the amount it cost and the time I actually get to spend wearing it . . . yeah. I don't want to resort to that though.

Posted 13 years agoSo, I don't really know if I have enough money to attend FWA this year because I'm going to MomoCon before that. My friend is convinced that we can just walk around in the lobby though w/out purchasing any passes as long as we don't go to any events such as the Dealer's Room, et cetera. Is that correct - could I just suit around for maybe an hour and a half without spending any money? I've never been to a fur convention before so x'D It doesn't seem likely though.

Posted 13 years agoWow, I had a lot of fun at DragonCon!
Despite those few downers yelling at me because apparently a dog costume ruins the convention when it shows up, a lot of people loved Kobalt and I got a lot of pictures and hugs xD [some of them were a bit strangling o-o]
I am not wearing my digitigrade padding or feetpaws in any of the pictures posted yet, but I did wear them at the parade. I myself didn't get any pictures because I went with a friend and her dad on Saturday, so I'll have to see if she has any she'll let me post on here.
