Furrys in trouble

Hmm we should give these kids our support this is a bit of an overreaction to someone being furry. In other news, we should start banning movies and shows like twilight and teenwolf cause that will clear up this whole furry epidemic...

Nanami
Posted 13 years agoI woke up this morning at 9 AM covered in the blood of a crying dog sitting in my bed. My dad has been letting the dogs outside into the yard completely unsupervised for the past several weeks. I have tried everything from being nice, to being rational, to being corportive... now I'm just pissed. Nanami had somehow cut the hind part of her back right ankle. The part that really made me mad, was my dad hadn't even noticed. HADN'T EVEN NOTICED THAT HER ENTIRE FOOT WAS BLOOD RED!!! I had never been so mad and scared in my life.
The good news is she just got home from the vet. Four suchers and a $300 vet bill, but she'll be fine. First thing my dad did when he got home was leave their dog, Ranger (9 month Golden Pup) in the yard by himself. Appartently, he never learn. Sadly this is just more fuel for the fire thats been burning between my dad and I. We're not exactly close.

Best Feeling in the World
Posted 14 years agoSo I have been having some computer issues recently. Opened her up and found out that the graphics card slot on the motherboard was no longer working for whatever reason. So I decied to scrap the whole thing and build a completely new computer. Over the holiday I bought skyrim from Steam Sales. I booted up the game for the first time and it ran a test to see what settings the game would play at, and a few seconds later it came back with "Skyrim will be ran on Ultra High settings." Felt Damn good.
Dance Class and moving
Posted 14 years agoI'm starting to take some classical ballroom dancing classes. My first class is going to be on tuesday. And now I'm really feeling like a college grad. I'm almost completely moved back in with the parents.
Time Travel Mixup
Posted 14 years agoColdplay
Posted 14 years agoI have to admit I haven't really enjoyed coldplay's newest stuff, but recently I was listening to the song Don Quixote on Youtube and it reminded me just how awesome their stuff can be. *Puts on Parachutes and turns the lights out while falling asleep*
I've finally been accepted as a father
Posted 14 years agoI've had Nami for just about two years now, and I must say it's been quite an experence. I've never had anyone/thing/person/animal really rely on me the way she does, but being a rescue dog she has always been timid of... well just about everything. Well tonight she actually put her head down on me and fell asleep for a few hours. I've never felt more like accepted in my life. More then any other moment in the last two years I've really felt like I was her dad as she was sleeping with her head on my arm.
Where has all the time gone?
Posted 14 years agoIt's that time of year again. I'm insanely busy. Between working 25 hours a week, going to school full time, volunteering at the aquarium and the nature preserve, being president of the SEEDS club, taking care of Nami and feeding myself, and maintaining a social life it's a wonder I have anytime left to sleep... which I haven't been so I guess that solves that mystery. Aren't bears supposed to hibernate during the winter months? *Grumble Grumble Grumble*
Living World of Darkness
Posted 14 years agoWould anyone be interested in starting a furry Living World of Darkness champaign? I would need anyone who is interested in writing some storyline at this point in time. Message me if your interested.
Pumped
Posted 14 years agoSo I've started doing more muscle building exercises as well as taking Nami for longer walks. Twice aday I do about a 45 minute walk with her and then go to the gym after each walk to do several sets of upper body and arm exercises. I'm really sore... In the mean time, my new job has been keeping me on my toes. I've starting doing the field trip programs and working with some of the snakes is freaking me out (in my defense it's head is bigger then my fist so). Dragon*con is coming up on Labor Day and after that's out of the way I'll be starting to get stuff organized for FWA (although I'm already behind on that I just have too much going on elsewhere right now).
Time
Posted 14 years agoI've never really agreed with that saying "There isn't enough time in the day" until just recently. Between School, volunteering, working, and trying to scrap together some sort of social life, I just don't have enough time in the day to get everything done. Only six more months though and I'll be done with school and I can start looking for a better job and possilbe stop doing as much volunteer work.
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Posted 14 years agoBeen watching this series, shit just got good!
Also been watching Wilfred, man that show is kinda weird. I can't really see where they're going with it though. I'll have to keep an eye on it.
Also Hulu has been posting a british show called Misfits, it's good. I highly suggest you watch it if you are looking for a good show to watch.

Chef Bear
Posted 14 years agoI've been on a cooking spree. Made some chicken soup from scratch for my sick roommates tonight, and I'm making Creole barbeque shrimp kabobs for a party tomorrow.
Bad Judgement Call
Posted 14 years agoI feel really bad, I threw one of my roommates good mixing bowls away because it had become so completely riddled with mold in the fridge I didn't think it was salvagable. I found out later that it was a gift from her brother-in-law. I want to buy a new one for her but nobody can remember where they got it and it's not label with any sort of brand name or designer.
Good Day
Posted 14 years agoYou know it's a going to be a good day when your peed on by a 15 pound spur-heeled tortise at 10 AM.
New Gorillaz Album
Posted 14 years agoGeez it's hard to believe the Gorillaz are almost ten years old. I have loved all there stuff, and this new album is no different. So good...
A scare
Posted 14 years agoNami has been having some issues this last weekend. Didn't think much of it till I got a call from my roommate this morning while I was in class. Nami had bloody stool. I came home and took her to the vet thinking it was going to be something bad. Luckily she just has a inflamed colon. The inflammation is treatable with a couple of pills and she can't eat anything for 24 hours and then she get a stick rice diet for a few days, and the condition is overall harmless. But I couldn't help but think if it had been something serious, there would have been no way for me to afford the treatment. Needless to say it's really made me redouble my efforts on the job front.
A selfish creature
Posted 14 years agoI've been very selfish recently. Painfully so, even. It seems like I can't do anything but complain, and that's not me. They say admitting it is the first step but now I really need to do something about it. Seriously, I can't even think of the last time I did something truely selfless.
Post-con Update
Posted 14 years agoWell FWA has proven to be as busy as ever. Not only that, in the week following the con I've had two tests and three papers to do. If that wasn't enough, I secured myself a new temperorary job at Caribou Coffee the day after the con. I start tomorrow. My internship is going well, I'm just now getting used to handling the snakes. I actually got to take care of the Blood Python yesterday all by myself. Damn thing weights a fucking ton. Things seem to be picking up, now all I have to do is stay on top of everything. Oh well, I didn't need sleep anyway.

Project RPG Maker
Posted 14 years agoAfter putting the program down for several years, I randomly picked up a copy of RPG Maker vx last week. I have forgotten how much I enjoy this program but it has really left me wanting more. If anyone out there knows someone who can make some artwork (similar to 16 bit graphics) let me know. I need spirits and faces and backgrounds, all sorts of things. Unfortunately i can't pay anything except a copy of the game. Anyway, let me know if anyone is intrested.
