Home from TFF, all unpacked, and finally settling back into a routine. Gosh. I really missed that. My last TFF was in 2017 and then moving and then COVID and then more moving and I just did not make time to return. This year, with spouse in tow, I finally had to return. The new hotel is nice. I can't believe we exceeded 7,000 attendees. I am kinda glad I was not on staff this year, so I had more time to spend with friends and just be an attendee. All the love for TFF still, though I do wish Bittergrim had stopped addressing the audience as "guys," if they are truly attempting to show they are inclusive of everyone. So happy to see Roona and regret not taking a chance to see them and let them know how good it was to see them.

Picked up a Madshy nerd badge, an Interlinked Jewelry ace bracelet, some books and a print from Rukis (signed of course), and this mystery box contents, which I am honestly not sure what to do as it turns out I am not all that keen on most of these items after all.

It was so good to see @Thunder_Mathis, Copilot, @shrike, @Jackpotcoyote, Kiki, @TaviMunk, Freezy, Logankitty, Poppy the Keaton, @firemane, and so many others.

We may just have to go again next year. :) No plans, yet. ;)

Well, for those who keep up with me on Telegram, you likely already know. For the rest, I left the great state of Texas in 2018 for new opportunities. Actually, my father got really sick on a visit to Texas a few years back and I knew I had to move closer so he did not have to travel as far. My job took me to Florida. New state, new house, new partner..and then pandemic. Anyway, I did not want to just pour it out in this space, but just provide a brief update. I am still around, just more on Telegram these days than anywhere else. Hope everyone is well.

So it has been a couple weeks since con and I am going through some stuff. Most of you who know me well enough know that I do not use a lot of this con stuff in my day to day. But, perhaps you do? Therefore, I have one reusable bag with a jackalope symbol on it (purple and black, with pockets), one jackalope window decal, and two bars of TFF 2015 con soap that I will gladly give to anyone who wants it, you just have to help me cover the cost of shipping. Had some furs over last night for a little dinner party. I spent the whole day from about 0830 until their arrival getting the house, yard, and hot tub in shape. But, it was SO worth it. What an amazing time. I so needed that, just a couple hours of socialization coupled with a job well done. ^_^ I mowed the front and back yard, trimmed with the weed eater, trimmed the hedges, swept the sidewalk, cleaned it all up, sprayed weed killer in the back yard where the broad leafs are taking over and then shocked the hot tub. I ran to the store for some much needed items and a bit of Jameson irish whiskey and then came home to finish tidying up. We did dinner of chicken parmesan, spinach, and garlic bread and then played Munchkin Bites. ^_^ I won, of course. ;) Then, it was TO THE HOT TUB. I love my tub. Such a relaxing, refreshing soak. Sadly, all good things must come to an end and they had to leave, but what a GREAT NIGHT!

I was just trying to get the trickle charger to juice up her battery. I was hood sliding like Bo Duke when she bit me, right in the knee. Ouch. :( Seriously though, I was squeezing between the car and the wall when my knee went out under me. O MY GAWD! Thank goodness I have such great neighbors or I may still be sitting on the garage floor. -.- Also, conveniently enough, I had a doctor's appointment Tuesday morning already, so I had him look at my knee instead.

Sprained my MCL. Ouch. :( Well, it has been almost a week and I am starting to feel a bit more confident in my ability to get around without a knee brace and a cane. A CANE! :( The folks at work, most of whom are 20 years my senior, were making fun of me. *ear droops*

Now to get a commission to commemorate the event :p

As I over heard some furs discussing said site, I decided to check it out. I saw Kodipup (fursuiter) over there, but no one else, yet, so I knew I had to register before someone else who has the same name beat me to the punch.

Back in 2003 I thought I was so original. Balto 3 didn't even come out until 2004. Besides, I am a WOLF, not a HUSKY. Further more, my idea behind the name was based on the little Australian boy from Rescuers Down Under (one of my fav movies of all time), so there. Ugh. Why do I care? Anyways.

There seems to be a movement now that a lot of artists will not draw without visual reference of a person's fursona. I have work already done which I can share, but no formal reference sheet. I also know someone who has had no work done at all. I guess I just always thought they were just a thing some folks did. Now I see I need to get on the proverbial wagon. Therefore, I turn to you all, my watchers, for advice.

I need a formal reference sheet. My sister needs a formal reference sheet

Who do you recommend? Can I see samples? Are they open for reference sheets?

So a 3.6 magnitude earth quake just shook 3.1 miles down about 10 miles from my parent's house in Maryland. I lived in Maryland for almost 20 years and NEVER heard of an earthquake in said region. What gives...
