With courtesy from several friends (majority from  vignette among many others who provided ever wonderful hospitality), I was able to visit Fur the More in a rush, fulfilled original purpose and last partied with some new and old friends. Sorry if you were at FTM and I didn't ran into you, I wasn't really there for the con to begin with, there will still be other chances to meet up this year. A little disappointed that I didn't express myself well enough at times when I needed to, but I guess it doesn't matter anymore ~ .... I need to work harder to be less selfish

Beyond that, sorry I haven't been active on my own FA, I will sure upload some new art soon.



FWA is right around the corner, you going? and what is your agenda?

Well, in a way yeah

The more I thought about people in relationship, the more I realize how little that where would sex involved in a relationship. A lot of what I "may" know came from internet and TV impression, gay guys hit it off at a bar then have one night stand, never happened to me exactly like that but happened in it's own ways for me from time to time. Anyway, people claimed they'd want to screw in so many different ways "IF" they have a boyfriend, or live in close distance with some close friends who don't mind it.

But once you were in that position, do you actually sex lots? If you are in a relationship, when was last time you look through your old porns and touch yourself alone? Do you feel guilty cumming without sharing that moment with your mate? And if you have lots of sex on quite regular base, do you constantly keeping your tailhole clean??



Even though sex isn't the most important thing in a relationship I feel people don't sex all that much that they wanted in the first place after getting into relationship. I never had one so I can't share my own story.

I am volunteering at a local raptor center from time to time, to do fund raise shows by holding one or two different birds and talk to public about them. It is really fun and sometimes seen unrealistic I could get so close to these birds we don't keep as pets (still not pets at facility), and would be lucky to even see one in close distances. At the end of each show the director will always say "Thank you" to me, and of course I said the same to him for trusting me enough to handle his raptors.

But honestly I was also thinking, it really didn't take me a lot to help him out, I mean, a few hours each month sometimes help cleaning cages, and sometimes talking to public at shows, nothing more. And after that he pretty much had to do everything else on his own for that month, cleaning cages, feed the birds, drive out to rescue injured birds, and I only do it a day or two each month.


I used to say if you feel unworthy of being yourself, go out and look for people you can help with. I think I did it at least to some level, but now I think about it, did I do it mostly because I could feel better for my own self, wanted to feel being thankful and go around saying I did something? Or did I really helped A LOT just being there with the facility one day a month, that I really deserved the "thank you" at the end of the day? I feel slight guilt I am helping probably just for my own good.....I don't know for sure though.


To whom you had volunteered your time and effort at communities or facilities regarding to people, animals or whatever, what did you do and how involved are you/were you? Did you ever felt like I had here?

Is to take long peaceful rest at bottom of a full size pool in the middle of a day, where I can still breath under water and see lights shine through waves, listening to music blast off from full size underwater speakers, and feel the music crushing upon me in the waves. I think this may undirectly relating to one of the 5 gum commercials in the past

For a long while, maybe a year and half or even two years, I felt belated journals are not necessary to be made, by the time I catch up on old journals current events keeps on happening at the same pace, I got so tired and eventually gave up updating any of them.....thus I stop reading journals from everyone, submissions accumulates, lost touch with a bunch of people, blah blah blah~ Despite my lame excuses, I want to start pick up my lazy ass and socialize again here :)

Parents moved back in Taiwan for about 2 months now, things seem going okay for them except living in Taiwan can be pricey or even priceyer than in America. Before we know that, we threw away bunch stuffs before their move, they will probably spend a good amount of money to just buy all new items for the place they move in :( Oh well, they get some retirement and probably isn't too too horrible.

Things are going pretty well on my end, went to Pride parade with roommates few weeks ago and dressed in my lion gave away quite some free hugs, supposedly to meet Vish,  psyolus, Rex , Wolphy and others who were at the Pride, wasn't too sure. Also ran into  MarblesBravetail,  RenegadeisaMonster,  ChaosCanine,  Azureclaws while I was in suit, was super fun and super hot X_X I didn't last very long in suit like I usually would~

I am sure a lot of cities and towns does various events on first Friday (last week), so is Raleigh. One of my coworker got very interested and suggested the idea so we went. The last time I went to first Friday in Raleigh was with  wallywolf years ago, since then downtown Raleigh improved A LOT. Different bars attracts audiences differently, rave dance floor, dual piano + sing along etc. We didn't made it very far from where we started but at the end of the night, we both enjoyed the evening dearly. He even helped me open up myself a little more on the inside :)

On Saturday we had regular local furmeet in the picnic area, too bad it was also local news channel fox 50's anniversary and they decided to held events in the same park LOL parking was like hell. We had a good amount of people showed up (maybe about 50?), suited and rode in the park train for the first time :3 (train ticket courtesy of  emptyshadow) ). showed up much later nearly after most people were gone. We met up with uncle Kage that evening, night ends with a bit of private story hour(s).

It just so happen that we had several different events took place that weekend, we picked one to go and it was international festival in downtown Raleigh convention center. Also same place where I got naturalized :P. We 3 end up buying each other different treats from different countries to try out, very fun and educational....maybe :D And eventually  Carenath and Ben made it to the festival from a different event in Durham (yay more foodz to tires lol)

I went to see CATS this Tuesday and saw  HeiditheWolf there too XD
From my perspective I feel CATS is something I enjoy personally so didn't invite anyone locally to see it with me, running into Heidi was complete coincidence. My seat was in the second front roll orchestra section and kittys were running on and off stage right before me <3 GOD I really wanted to sing along as bad as when I saw Lion King the musical lol Over all it was tremendous experience, if anyone is interested this musical will still play in Raleigh till Sunday! Don't miss it :3

Hi people,

Hope everyone is doing fine, if not well at least be okay somehow :)
Lately my mood has been up and downs a lot, from various reasons. One of the biggest one I guess was knowing my parents are leaving the country, leaving me. My family immigrated here in the states about 11 years ago now, I was graduated from high school, mom and dad quit their jobs and hoping to find a different career in the America (Foreigner's American dream basically). Things didn't went well as my dad planned, he end up landing a job at Sam's, and my mom worked at different restaurants and finally now at Edible Arrangements.

During the time, I finished my Zoology degree in NC State and now working an office job for 4 years, not the best job in the world but manage for me to come by, hopefully I will get to try something else that pays a bit better soon. Anyway, parents decided it's a good timing for them to call it off and retire from work force, move back to Taiwan next month....which really is only a month away from today.

I am happy for them, at the same time happy for myself. I can be independent and not be remote controlled by my parents.
Then I realized, all this time I grow up till now, I haven't really left my parents
I went to middle and high school and lived at home, after we moved here I went to school in another town but still within North Carolina, I moved to Florida but only for half year, I work in Raleigh but I see them every month. This time we are going separate ways for real and the distance is going to be far far away....I don't know what to think of it. It's like I have never actually grown up, I did not need to grow up, until now.

I don't feel extremely sad or happy, but deep in my conscious mind I believe I am a little freaked out. I find it harder for me to focus, harder to find my push to get things done. Things I never look at in such way before, I do now.
Family bond is annoying when you are obligated to do things and spend extra amount of time with them, but can you still call "family" when you take those away? Many of you are my dearest friends, I would give all my heart for you easily. But when I needed help getting something done, need someone to talk to, I feel can't count on a lot of you....and a lot of you probably thinking same way towards me too. We are not "obligated" to help out each other's troubles. We all have different lives, everyone look up after themselves first before anyone.....A hug, a sympathetic word, is already more than what one could have asked for from someone who isn't family. And those people who treat my trouble as their own, are leaving me soon.

I made a lot of friends in the fandom and I love you all, and if any of you would love me back in return, or even able to see me on more regular bases, I hope you were able to feel this "family" element I express, and I learned it from my parents. America is a very independent country, people are so independent sometimes it isolates people easily under the "we make good friends in 10 mins because we talked to each other while waiting on train". Maybe there IS such thing as fast food friendship in this country and elsewhere, but what comes easy also goes away fairly easy too, just like hot pockets and Cici's Pizza. My parents taught me how to treat people with sincere and consideration, I try to make friends in more than fast food friendship attitude and sincerely care, if you DO feel it from me, you should thank my parents for it :)


So it haven't really hit me yet, but in about a month of time when they are actually gone, I might need a lot of help to.....relief some of my emotions, and even help teach me some hands on life experiences (how to rent a car, how to make certain achievements, how to pay bill etc.), I mean it ~

My birthday is next week, with work and other things I have stuck on my mind I haven't said anything about it......I want to do something next Saturday locally, maybe have a meal or have a gathering somewhere, just to spend some time with people whether or not it gets big or small.

Although I don't have firearms or weapons nor I fully understand the situation, I feel in this country people like you and me can still get arrested and have everything turned against us for no good reason. Ideas like "it won't be me, I never done anything wrong" does not apply on all cases anymore case shit happens, there isn't a Dumbledore volunteer to defend you when you need one, all you get that help the most are advices. But you can't just take advices and use them all, once you took a wrong advice you loose a good portion of your life to so call "justice" that neither the country nor any one who is close to you can pay you back.




My shit doesn't make sense, but I am upset that justices bend so many ways that best thing to do is to be a lawyer and know everything, or prey bad luck doesn't fall on you

- I went to Cedar Point in Ohio before the con, missed the fireworks in Columbus on the 3rd but watched it with the rest of the con at convention center on the 4th

- Picked up Yippee and Tyco from airport with an hour delay 7/4 traffic (couldn't get out of pittsburgh)

- Fuck it didn't get to go out for a group meal like I always do until the con ended, but still good (bagel sandwich thing with Timduru, TOS, Yippee and Kokos)

- Followed JC and another friend from Taiwan N.Z. at some point, took them to permanti bros for food and helped took fursuit photos for them

- TLK meet

- midnight ~ 3am hang out with Jimmy wolf and wolf pup TK as usual

- fat guy was rude and stole my candy, Tzup helped getting it back for me *smooches wolf* , that's why some of you had sour patch kids from me on Monday morning.

- fursuited and paraded

- staying at 5th floor was awesome, but not so much when I was the only person left on Monday and had to move everything out and onto the car alone, with additional luggages from friends.

- went to Archusky's party 4 hours later, everyone was already gone. (FAIL)

- didn't catch too much of the dances during the con unfortunately

- completely missed deaddog on Sunday

Nah just kidding, but honestly I have never dated anyone, I play casually with some of my friends from time to time, and I treat most of my friends well and fair (maybe?). Sometimes I got depress and desperate for a relationship, but nothing ever happened. A few friends came across my way but couldn't push myself to have urge pursuing them. I really wonder if I am any material for a relationship at this time


Just in this past year I had crush on a good number of people, it's really stupid and blind me from looking at pros and cons if anything do make into a relationship, not to mention the worst of it was getting turned down (as expected), though still have a few people I haven't told so..........I try not to have a crush on anyone right now, it only leads to "I know I can't have you but I want to be close with you, I want to tell you how I feel but it will just ruin everything" mood.

Just woke up from a vivid but blurr dream, it seem happened in a school or some sort of activity center, lots people were hiding in a classroom sort of space, covering all the windows up with heavy curtains like the ones you would see in hotel. At least 15+ people were dressed up in fursuit, one of them was  electropaw that I could remember. Several people were peeking through the slits between curtains and saw the person getting closer, giving signal to ask everyone be quiet......then woooo big surprise when that person walked in :P


I don't remember hearing birthday songs, I don't remember any cake was consumed, but I remember everyone was happy :)

Sooooo just came across this, it's a little late to share it with the fandom but better late than never yes?

Here is the video, we do have mascoting business in Taiwan as well XD (funny as it looks, it's actually serious business in Taoism)



Long story short, this is 電音三太子 (Electric-Techno Neon Gods), it is a way honoring and entertaining gods through performance in mascots. The mascots are also resemble different historical gods that are currently being worship in temples. The music and dance move is more of a modern influence of course because people who perform in the mascots are mainly teenagers, which is reasonable (teenagers = people hang out = entertainments = sports + hobbits + dance + etc...). After a while this style of performance became a phenomenon today.


15~20 years ago such performances were more of a routine ritual done to please the gods, rarely caught on anyone's attention.

When you feel hatred towards certain things or people, but ever wondered or cared about why and you can’t think of a good reason but because “everyone else thinks the same”, or “because so and so told me”? I feel we were educated to dislike, once a word or a phrase negatively describing something stuck in your head, it became stereotype, with people grow through life experiences these stereotype negativity turns into hate.

 

Religious people often value everything with a “fixed” scale, how everyone should behave, things in order in this world. I see most religious people want to help because they are very faithful of this fixed scale. They want to fix and help when see things and people not to their standard. However if it is beyond their ability to help, the desire to help is lessen and eventually lost hope. From there people may decide to turn away, some even decide to hate. When you put that hatred emotion in your fixed scale and passing it on to the next person, you are educating them to hate without given them a chance to value “why” on their own standard. Religious is touchy subject to use but easy to understand. What if this scale I am referring to wasn’t from your pester, but was passing from your teacher or even, your parents?

 

I rarely mention myself to people out of fandom I am a furry and I am gay because I don’t want to deal with the stereotype ideas they learned from their lives, it’s very tiring. You, being a furry just like me, can probably understand much or less what I am relating to here, and I believe you don’t want to be hated for stupid reasons either.

 

I just hope my friends here understand and realize when the words “I hate….” being used, you are fully aware the reason beyond the temporary negative emotion.

I still thinking about Lemonade from time to time. Sometimes I get upset with people for being rude or stupid, then I thought to myself…..how many people have to slip away from your life to make you understand what actually matters between drama and everything one person dislikes, is learn to look pass any negative emotion and cherish, don’t make any regrets because those negative regrets get in the way.

I wonder if anyone felt this?

Being teased by someone almost in a playful way, that in most of the cases consider as a invitation for something more, but when you intend to make a move, you get this "no no I am not into this, you pervert" attitude in return. Like one of those moments in the movie when "that lady" teases the shit out of some guy and when the guy tried to touch her, gets slap in the face?


It's a fishing game, fishing for attention, fishing for sex, fishing for love. I have done a few in the past but mainly because I had no guts telling him I wanted him (not even today....but maybe slightly better at expressing it). As childish it is, "crying kid gets the treat" idea works but look out what you wish for. I had been rejected and rejecting people in comments like "why no one is there for me" or "why no one wants to sleep with me", I believe most of us do, targeting interested individuals but make it sound so broad so upon catching what you need, filter all the fishes that hoped themselves being the one for you, and then pick and choose the actual one you want.

People say when you make choices you have to think what's good for you, buuuuut what about the rest of people that are still hanging? do you leave them hanging or do you appreciate each one of them who responded your call and turn them away? If you do, how'd you do it so you are not hurting them?



We all have a delicious fantasy bait we want to take a bite at, if you do see one, ask nicely for it and expect the worst, but if you can help it please reduce the necessariness of fishing, it helps, but can only help you go so far

it's been a week and almost half back from FWA!! only been there for a day and half but so much happened, I really want to write something down before I forget them all......and yeah.

Heard people got caught in different airports because our lovely weather but hope all of you made it home safely. I am currently writing something about  contour_coyote and will post it soon after I finish recap from FWA.
