Aside from school, and high stress with family, i have been getting shot with depression this month. Of all the months to have it too...

So going through a domino effect, i lose confidence in what i do or give up in a future plan. Even as i write this journal i am hearing the usual nagging voice that lingers when im in this mood.

I'll try to take a weekend where i can post or start creating what i want to do, and hopefully get feedback as to continue with the theme as a daily comic.

Hey everyone, sorry for not being on or posting much. I have been updating on twitter and facebook and keep forgetting to post them here. So with the project thing that took a month to work, i am finally relieved to have finished and happy on how it turned out. But sadly i will be taking a break on any more of these for awhile.
The one thing i enjoy doing is offering gifts to friends and close friends. and with gifts i enjoy watching people react to the gifts physically. As to gifts that i am not around would be harder except hearing the person's reaction. As of now, since i need to look for a job and i am afraid to say the school nwespaper no longer wants me around... i need to find an actual job now. So once i manage to get a job, car, and time i will create more gifts again. So i am sorry to those who recieved gifts, and for those that i still need to give i will work on it when i can.

Hey guys, i am really sorry for not being on this week. With family stealing me away to lake placid, my weekly work out tiring me out a lot, and trying to hang out with friends. But mostly, I've been waking up later than usual and I need to find a way to wake up early so I have more time around the mornings....I know a total shocker...
But I will work on some things either during a stream or off stream. But also, thanks to Florida supercon, an idea sparked to try something. I will mention this idea in another journal with more details. In the meantime, I am sorry for being afk a lot and hopefully I can get back on track before school starts!!

I would like a list of people who are going to megaplex AND are part of the littletales community. I wont be able to make things individually cause last time i left out some people because the limited time i had to work on it. ^^;;; making 30 watercolors in less than 10 days was impossible for me.

So like I dork I forgot to write this yesterday, so I am sorry that there will not be a stream today. I've been kidnapped by my family and will be at lake placid. Really sorry =.=

Alright, so launch day for stream was a bust for the sudden event i had to go through today but i am now home and wont be going to bed any time soon. This time i will start a stream up to create stuff to put up for my stream. I will have it all digital so whoever likes to watch can gladly come by and enjoy the show. But like in my previous journal i will stream saturday to re-pay for missing today fully.

So i will set something special up just for this time and only this time alone. Those that come by my stream will be put in a list to get their character all Kawaii like AND be set as part of my commission list. Meaning free art for those that come on the stream. I will work on them saturday, hopefully nothing major happens again that day.

I wouldn't want to set a limit, but seeing as i am starting out again and to be on a safer side, first 10 people will get free art from me, all kawaii like and colored. I will ask if you would like to have it digital or traditional.

It gives me great pleasure that i will be streaming once again and have more time to draw. To make matters even better, i have cleared out my computer after my grandmother moved everything from one room to said computer room. Will explain below. As of right now i will plan on the schedule of the streams and most importantly i will be joining an old, but better site i used to use: TIGERDILE!! Gonna see if i can set a subscription method and get started on that. So all my art, and anything else, will now be streamed on that site. I will leave a link on my page to follow there. A picture will be coming up to determine days and time on when i will stream. see ya then!!



Story time:
So i used to be in my computer room a lot when it came to work, art, and gaming. But once my computer died i switched with my laptop. That was all fine until my friends started coming over more and we all played in the other room with a TV. This room became my room, simply cause it had a couch bed and i kept it clean. But there was an old office desk and had several items crammed into the drawers and spaces. My grandmother hated and got rid of it. At the same time i got a PS4, and she got a new desk that is small and made of glass. Sad part was, my computer room slowly became packed with random stuff. Each month i notice new things inside there and i didnt have any time to properly clean it. Grandmother was nagging me to clean the room up cause it was my junk and i put it there...but i just set the task on my to do list...and more things piled up. SO finals over, hang out with friends finished, and half my family gone....it was the perfect time to clean the place! SO i spent 6 hours throwing junk papers away and organizing where my stuff goes. If i let my grandmother do that....all my important things would be gone. Stuff that i put in boxes....within boxes...
So the room is clean enough for me to work on again and i set up a new rig for streaming. It is a but faulty, but i lost my camera stand made from taped up newspaper and a combination lock....Now im using pulleys!! And that is how i managed to get fully organized again and now ready for this summer!!!

So i havent been on FA in the longest time, and i felt like i couldn't upload anything at all since...i think feburary?

anyways, i am fully alive. Stuff has happened that was bound to explode after a year in the works. To sum it up, family being their usual selves. Having to go through guilt trips and frustration on their part while i bottled it all up. With the money trouble of losing it quickly cause of janurary, thanks to amazon prime and any other subscription thing i had where they ask for the money till last minute, i finally got back to a stable flow. with the family troubles, well... the guilting and anger finally made me blow. So they made me break up with my Gf at the time....the week before our one year anniversary.....during spring break....yea.... i'd never forgive my family for being the way they are. Worse on how much they judged her and her whole family. And my best friend who is nothing but the nicest fuzzy being who managed to communicate with them and served them coffee....yet they still dont like her for a list of reasons.....

So i gave myself time to recover from it, and the only way i could get through the day from my family's antics was by playing games. So i spent the time playing on my ps4....a lot... Sure, the break up is still affecting me, i'm going through insomnia and momentary depressive spikes, but these things will be fixed on their own. The real damage was i couldnt get an urge to draw at all. What my family did had me just shut down my drawing urge. Something that helped me bring joy and happiness turned to shrugs and will do later's. I've tried sketching in the meantime and was even told to not do that in public areas.....when was drawing while waiting for food at a restaurant a rude thing to do?! i can understand playing your DS or psvitas with loud volume, or just using your phone all the time....but no, my aunt claimed drawing in my pocket notebook was not good table manners....

So there are stuff in other books ive worked on....and i've come to a conclusion.....i cant draw digitally without either a background reference or having a screen tablet. Recently [will be posted soon] i worked on a sketch for a friend. The kawaii chibi's ive been working on. It took me 10 minutes to get the sketch finished, ready to be inked and colored....It would have taken me 5 hours if it was digital. I think its mostly because of how my brain and hand thinks.

In theory: If i have a pencil at hand, my brain knows that i have limited use on erasing because paper can ware and tear with excesive erasings. So the lines and attempts must be close to flawless and true. It may look sketchy in the end, but once inked, the messiness will be gone and the paper will still be ok.
Where as with digital, fixing mistakes are endless.....so it would take me maybe 30 minutes to draw a good curved line, simply because i dont think its perfect" enough. I can try to make rought sketches and then use the ink tool.....but it ends up taking longer.

So yea, i may stick to traditional again, but will not throw away digital cause it is the best thing to use for printing anything. And can be fixed on the spot.

And lastly, school... I am about to finish my class next week and will have a week free. Trouble is....this year's courses will be hard. Most of the professors have a bad review or simply have really hard exams. while at the same time i have some easy ones too. In the end...i will not be graduating this year and will need next year to do so. So one more year with family before i can be an individual for once in my life!

I do want to apologize to everyone, i havent been around to talk or follow up. I would have thought the earlier journals would help when i mention, "Depending on how classes are, depends on how active ill be" That and thanks to a friend i might join in more often after i test something out on a certain site....otherwise i'll just ask directly to the site manager/ person who runs it.

what better way to start a tuesday off than updating everyone here of whats revolving around my world.

So as of this new year, i have been getting my ups and downs. I think this is a lot tougher now than any other year, and not counting the upcoming holiday. So i went to see my editor for the school paper to ask if she has at all seen my emails and turns out she has, just didnt want to reply or anything. Turns out my art isnt needed, which means i am not needed, and she has 2 artists giving a lot of comics. Which i like to correct that for her, she is only publishing ONE artist's comic for the past month of janurary. I do feel a bit shunned, but i'm a bio major in a room full of journalism majors. So common sense and courtesy isnt really strong in their field. Doesnt help the fact that all other journalist majors think that the paper i work for are redundant and lacking interest.

Aside from that, i tried to push more into doing more work at my internship. I was trying to get paid to do work and stuff, but 3 more people jumped in the wagon and it became a competition to see who did the work better. With my newly vast knowledge of plants, work experience, and the likes....i lost the job. I think mostly because of coming in a bit late, having small very little hours, and not doing well at a tour. Even though no one told me or taught me of how the florida aquaducts are and i was the first. He gave the other 2 easier ones to talk about and i was stuck as a guinea pig.

So with no job at all, the money troubles begin. I was recently in debt and paid it off, now surviving with little money on my bank. I don't know what my tax break will be because i have yet to receive any. im going to think my family is the one that uses that...yay...

Valentine's day is coming and the saddest thing for me is that my family hates my girlfriend. to be more accurate, they hate her, her mother and father, her sister, her family, my best friend living there and helped host their second visit, all of her friends, and any other person around her. period. They have been telling me to break off with her, i should fine a closer girl to "have fun with". The trouble with that idea is that they have forgotten the events that led to me being alive today. My biological father, who most do not know about me that i had a really abusive "sperm doner" that not only married my mother, but several others back to back. I wouldnt be suprised if he was married to more than one during the time. So i dont like the whole dating 50+ people at once. I usually stick with one person to date with. If it doesnt work out? move on, i've already went through the "true love lose" paradox. True love lose paradox is when you find the love of your life and you plan everything for that person. marriage, kids etc. And all of a sudden you break off, the biggest depression kicks in because you put so much hope for a fairy tale ending and now all you can think of is jumping off a tall place because you will never find another. Yes i did have a few of those moments in my youth, now i have a simple plan for a relationship, find someone who can be a companion, a partner in crime. so far i've found someone who is that and loves me the same as i love them. And my family just doesnt want it cause they love to judge their books by the cover. So any further trips to see her would be denied. I kinda find it funny that my aunt, a second mother, is willing to dis-own me if i am still talking with her. the more i live under my family's rule, the more bitter i grow around them. They can offer me treasures, momentary love, and one sided advice.. but they can never give me what beats all those combined: a life to live and happiness. My lack of trust for people, anxiety, paranoia, all these thing that make me isolate myself from others was learned from them. Its what i used to survive under their house. I've hurt people before for the stupidest reasons, and i cant go back to fix them. Yet they also never knew my family to understand. The close friends i have, who know spanish and can understand what my family say, are now figuring out that my family is twisted. Its a huge burden and if i do take a risk, i need to be ready for the consequences.

Hopefully to brighten the atmosphere from that long rant, i went to court last week because they messed up my name change papers. So we went and funny enough the judge was a cool guy. He actually asked us why we were even in court to fix this if we could have called, i had a crummy lawyer at the time. SO officially now i am named by what my name is to those who i commission and send money to. I also don't plan on changing my name at all and would advise to think three times before considering. Atleast here in florida its 400$ or so to go through the process.

I have recently started in a new style of drawing, mainly to catch attention and just a change of pace. I may think of doing another comic for this style just to branch out for the time being. I should also mention that the reason why my comics never end or are unfinished is because its all unscripted. I do not write them in advance, it is all drawn from thought and straight to paper. But once i lose the flow it stops at an instant. The one comic i promised for halloween is still not done, but i might need to re-do it now digitally. So in due time all will go back in the flow.
As to the new style, i am working of something called Kawaii Drawings. If i explained what it means, we would need another journal for this. But as a summary of what it is, think of super simple hello kitty like chibis. flat color with flat shadings, ribbons everywhere, and an outbreak of diabites everywhere. i will post them soon enough. And the best part i figured a price for them. For 5$ you can have your own made from a template design, the template is just a faster way for me to draw it. 10$ and you get it in a different pose and everything, making it more unique and alive.

Hopefully i can send gifts to my gf for this week, otherwise i will feel really bad not to. And that is all the things that have happened so far within a month =.=

its a lot to handle and i just need to move forward. Even though i am very quiet on the mic, i do enjoy lingering around with friends. So to all my friends, i am sending all the hugs. and to those going through trouble as well, keep pushing forward. everything goes well when you keep moving forward.

I've gone through tough times, and pushed through. Taking one of the hardest classes i would ever have and passing it above my expectation. I managed to leave my family for a weekend and have a vacation....

Each achievement came with a great obstacle; stream and art being postponed, my mother not being too happy with me.

So i have been busy for the past few months, reason why is simply because of school. I'm finally taking my botany electives and trying my best to pass. First exam for island biodiversity was a C because i procrastinated but i passed >>;;;

another note, i got destiny and have been playing it almost none stop and im 3 levels away from reaching the cap. So that has taken a bit of my time when it comes to relaxing and freedom.

As for work, i have stopped drawing comics, my editor is not only looking for more cartoonist but he is also using third party comics to fill the page. Im stepping down, and really dont feel right in recreating everyone as humans just to favor the paper. even if it is to fill the page along "useless" stories.

But i found a new job, an internship, and already working twice a week. my arms are killing me but i will get used to it.

Now for the main reason for this journal, i usually work on stuff for october. Last year i had a "Stuff for Halloween" all month. submitted atleast something halloweeny for each day or so. But for a nice project i will be working on a specific style for icons. I'll post the example tomorrow after work. But i'll try doing the same thing like last year, only this time i will try to do more.


So everything is going smooth, and cant wait to start drawing again. i'll stream destiny every now and then. Also if i whenever i randomly mention plants, its because of class XP
