MidFur 12
Posted 15 years agoSo it's been almost a week ago that I went to MidFur XII and had been tossing between doing and not doing a journal post about it, right now I'm at Mum's place in Sydney and all of my mates are busy today so why not?
I could start this from the first day of the con but the trip for me started the day before I actually left I guess.
The Pre-Convoy Day - 28th of November
Dyluck shows up about 3:30, the two of us were leaving the next morning in the Bris-Melb midfur convoy organised by Atpaw so he stayed the night. All of us from the Iceberg moved recently and the only remaining task for me to do was sort Jagafeh's DVDs, I got through a little bit of it that day so here's hoping they've left it all tucked aside for me to finish when I get back. That night I got on Skype to see the current progress on my partial fursuit done by Kat Aclysm, an old friend of mine from my cosplay days, managed to convert her. :3 Suit was almost finished and looking good, we also did up a little joke image which I'll put in my scraps later. Dyluck and I did some grocery shopping as not to starve in his GIANT 4WD, the Red Rocket. It was so big that I think he had to skip the attic and ballroom on the tour.
First day of the Convoy - 29th of November
So Dyluck wakes up too early but he was too exited about the whole trip to get fatigued. We chuck our gear in the car and leave on schedule. We stop by a Maccas on the way and pick up a travel mug each, the cool thing about travelling with Dyluck is the fact that he works for McDonalds and gets 20% off anything at any of them. Naturally I wroughted this to the best of my potential. :3
We arrive at the meeting point about half an hour early, Marcwolf arriving next in his car and finally Atpaw arriving 10 mins late with Yarwick. At that point the entire convoy was there, 5 furs in 3 cars. Speedy cheetah took point for the whole trip with Noodledragon and I staying at the back because speeding fines were not an option! (I might comment here that I preferred Dyluck's driving to Enigma's recklessness two years prior.)
The Red Rocket had a couple of problems and we had to drive THROUGH a storm but we made it fine, I'd also left my laundry too late the previous day and used the Red Rocket's internal clotheslines to get all of my socks and undies dry.
Convoy Midpoint, Rest-day - 30th of November
In Dubbo for a couple of nights, we'd planned on visiting the Western Plains Zoo but it was simply too wet so we went to The Dish in Parkes instead, when local to the dish there are many signs requesting that all electronic devices be turned off so I complied by switching off my DS and phone but accidentally left our CB radio on! =@_@= Not only that but before we had completely left the site I was using it to make stupid astronomy jokes. Derp-derp TinyCat. We filled the rest of the time by trying to download the latest Actfur over a few different internet sources to see if Dyluck had won Fen's ranting comp but the actual ActFur server was down. >:( Dyluck and I managed to fill up the rest of the time by Pokemoning.
Last day of the Convoy - 1st of December
We check out of the Formule 1 Dubbo and get back on the road, Dyluck and I had been playing 'What game is that song from?' over the course of the trip, we didn't keep points but I was definitely not winning!
I'd also been playing through my recently acquired MegaMan Zero Collection which resulted in some game over moments that entitled Dyluck to some entertaining ragequits. The red rocket copped a stone to the corner of it's windshield and put a noticeable crack in it but nothing life-threatening. Towards the end we got a little worried about speeding and broke away from the pack only to be slugged down by Melbourne's impossibly thick northern traffic. Kat was staying in our room and had checked herself in already which lead to confusion when we got there, that and I had apparently put my first and last names in the wrong order when booking the room. =x_x= Got to see my finished partial that night! He needed a couple of modifications so I decided not to wear him the next day.
First day of the Convention - 2nd of December
So I finally meet up with Ice again and grabbed my phone charger off of him, you see, it was the only thing I'd forgotten to pack and my phone went flat the day previous seeing as it kept turning itself on. Ray Liehm kindly guarded my phone at the con while I let Rulke into our room seeing as the Rydges 'lost' his booking for that night. I surprised the guys from the show with my new beard, getting a real strange look from Carnival as she tried to work out who was pulling their best samurai scowl at her. X3 I spent the day walking about and chatting to everyone mostly only 1 panel was held that day but it was about first-time con-goers so I skipped it. I had lunch with Logan Husky at the KFC two doors up the road from the hotel. We discussed a few things and confirmed that I'd be doing the Stan Sakai interview on behalf of ActFur and MidFur. Caught up with some Sydfurs, including AussieHusky, for tea. Ended up walking WAY TOO FAR (I was already chaffed between the legs from gadding about the con) and ended up walking through Melbourne CBD with a cowboy's gait. =;-;= Fixed up the partial that night.
Second day of the Convention - 3rd of December
Up and early due to a text from Logan saying that he wanted to do the interview while the weather was good. Didn't end up doing it that day but all was good, did some suiting and surprised everyone from the show with it! Then caught the latter half of the Females in the Fandom panel run by Carni and Muse (very funny. :3) Spent the rest of the day talking to more people seeing and helped out kraden with the Podcasting panel, we didn't get a terribly large audience and after we had gone through the entire presentation we ended up gabbing on about games, at that point I asked the audience if they would be interested in a 'TinyCat's gaming Panel' which was met with positivity so I've pitched the idea to MidFur, here's hoping! I was really excited and nervous about the Actfur Live Show but I ended up having too much fun to stay nervous! Kell arrived JUST in time for the performance BTW.
Third day of the Convention - 4th of December
Woke up too late to catch Ray and Kell's science panel but made it to the Midfur Board panel, pondered what I could contribute board-wise to the con but yet to e-mail them about it. Got into suit again for the photoshoot, plenty of pics of me in Rulke's gallery! Logan and I rushed upstairs to the pool deck with Stan to do the interview, weather was brilliant and the interview went really well! Caught up with Vulpyra and requested he do up some 16-bit tunes for TinyCat's Gaming Breakdown next year. Watched Jenner talk too much and make too much noise during the Hall of Fame, then had a crack at fursuit-raving. Kat Aclysm wasn't kidding, after about 2 mins I had had enough! Sat and played Poker in fursuit, realised how the two went hand-in-hand! Kaz and Sec got cut off before they could finish their performance of Lano & Woodley's Boncy rabbit and Illie won the talent night with her Beatles song on guitar.
Last day of the Convention - 5th of December
Up late again and only JUST caught up to the fursuit walk thanks to Fima. Had a great time stealing things from kids in suit, they seem to think that orange kitties only want your pancakes to have a look at them! had a fantastic time doing that! Straight onto the Fursuit Olympics after that, 1st event was Race to the Plushie, Topher was my opponent so after losing to him once, I ripped his head off much to the audience's enjoyment! To quote Brutal legend; DECAPITATIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!! Also got to catch up with MelMel where she mentioned doing something with my TGBs in her upcoming year, but I'll keep that a secret. ;3 Had lunch with Jagafeh and Sebkha at a place down the road called mrs. Noodle under Kat's recommendation, great food for a top price!! That night was an Actfur dinner at place on Lygon street, far too expensive for me but Kell covered the bill because he's a champ!
Trip to Sydney - 6th of December
We packed up a little later than the hotel would have liked but to be fair, they were kinda rubbish. :/ Dyluck had to keep circling the block because we couldn't find a parking space, I'd wait out the front with a couple of bags, the red rocket would stop in traffic, I'd toss the bags in and go up and fetch more while he drove off. Fun. Said goodbye to Kat as she was flying back to Syd, we took her suit, Quixote, back up to Sydney for her so that it wouldn't succumb to the brute of airport baggage handling. Got to Mum's place in Sydney just in time for tea; home cooked pizzas Aussie style!
Afterdays - 7th to 9th of December
Dyluck decided to hang about here for a couple of days to get his windshield repaired, he took my fursuit up to Bris with him and a few other things from Mum's that I missed at home.
I'd say it was a pretty good trip all up, the three big things I was worried about were the fursuit, the live show and the interview which all went well, I got to mention to CynWolfe in person that I was enjoying myself so I think that mattered to him.
So yeah, today I wanted to go see MegaMind with a few furry friends but Kat's driving her dad around, Enigma's doing 4 other things, Ray is working and Roxy is flying to Melbourne. Ah well. :/
Also, Before year's end I'll be transferring over to
So go watch it now!

Newton's third law.
Posted 15 years agoIssac Newton's third law of physics states thus;
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
I think this law can be modified to suit social interactions;
For every AWESOME, there is an equal and opposite FAIL.
Let me start from the beginning;
For me, Wednesday the 19th of May began at 8:45 as I was awoken by my housemate's boyfriend, and friend of mine, Husker Fox.
I had promised to guide him to the post office on an urgent matter, and pointed out one of the spelling mistakes he'd made on his letter to his mother, one of them being the spelling of his surname.
I bought him something to nom so he'd shut up (he is naturally loud and swears in public a little too often for my liking), as we left to head back home, I picked up a bargain at the local cash converters; a hardly used official PS2 controller for $10. (This is my 4th one now, having loved two official ones and a wireless one to death.)
Upon returning home, Husker watched some of the 10th doctor (who is my doctor BTW) I was plodding about the house tying to catch Latios in the Pokemon SoulSilver I recieved as a gift from an actfur fan. (Thank you Teygrim! =D)
I hopped on the computer at quarter to 4 and got an read an email sent at 10 that morning;
Hey Neko, just making sure you know, Parkour tonight is at <address>, starts at 6:45 and ends at 9. Don't wear jeans and bring plenty of water. Also, don't eat anything after 2 or 3, parkour is pretty intense and you may throw up.
From Amy.
Now the real fun starts.
"Oh bugger" I thought, "The last time I ate was one vegemite sandwich for breakfast before I left the house".
It was too late to eat now. I looked up which bus I needed to catch and got myself ready.
Having reached the bus-stop on schedule, and then realising I was waiting on the wrong side of the road, I got very sadface when after 10 minutes of waiting beyond the bus's scheduled time, it didn't come. Just as I was about to assume I'd missed it, it finally came. I was behind 10 minutes already but lucky to have not missed the bus.
On the bus, I phoned home a few times to ask my housemates to remind me of which stop I was meant to get off at. Southbank busway it was meant to be, the major busway on the southern side of the river city of Brisbane. Despite all my efforts it wasn't until I clearly noticed the bus go OVER THE RIVER (my bus having come from the southern side of the city)
Forced to get off on the wrong side of the river, I was still within half an hour's walking distance of parkour training. I could still make it on time. After walking the wrong way twice, with the Brisbane city having too many look-alike buildings. I had walked over an hour and gotten google map instructions relayed to me from Iceleron. I made it to the right street.
A large building on the street had signage out the front indicating that is was a swimming and athletics centre, I quickly checked inside and saw only pools and left quickly for three reasons;
1. Did not see any parkour training of any kind
2. Was in a rush to find the right place, the time being 7:10
3. I had not signed up for swimming and a stranger in a room of women and children in swimsuits is generally not welcome.
I tried checking the house numbers, it didn't help that most of them were missing, after a while I realised I was moving AWAY from my destination (for the 5th time that evening) and found myself back at the swimming center. Approaching it from my new direction, I saw the number of the address I'd been looking for. UGH.
So I poke around inside with the confidence that I was meant to be there (albeit, half an hour ago) and finally found the parkour training group.
I had missed the warm-up portion of the evening and an unknown amount of the cardio training but I figure the hour of running and searching about the city looking for the place was compensation enough. After Amy recognised me, I joined in and NEARLY DIED.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO RUN AND GET A STITCH WHEN YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO STOP RUNNING? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
Thankfully that was the hardest part, by this time I had developed three blisters already, one on each of my big toes and another on left little-toe. Hopefully by next week they'll be nice tough calluses so I can endure parkour properly.
After cardio, the large group split into four groups of about 10 people and rotated amongst four traing activities, I was with the newbies and in order we did;
- Forward rolls, I did pretty well, apparently better than the friend that invited me.
- Monkey vaulting, I have a stout frame/footballer's build and I found it hard at first to get over the vault, there were a surprisingly amount of different aspects to the technique but I think I got most of them down well.
- Rail vaulting, I really liked doing this one but by this time I had developed a sore ankle and pulled a big muscle in my back-right thigh so I kept practicing on the lower ones when everyone else moved on the the higher ones.
- Mix course, This included rolls and rail vaulting, with my thigh out of commission I couldn't do much of it but gave it my best, it was also at this point that I hurt my right shoulder from trying to do rolls with a bunged leg.
After that we did three forms of cool-down;
- Arm stretch, This involves pointing your arms directly up for an indeterminate period. I have rubbish upper-body strength (runs in the family from my grandma, my grandpa is responsible for my bulky shoulders. go genetics!) This hurt alot.
- Leg stretch, Place your back against a wall and squat so that there is a right angle at your pelvis and a right angle at your knees, do this until a stranger decides to tell you to stop. OH GODS THE PAIN.
- Crunches, Yay, something that works on the abs and back! I do crunches now and then so this was simple but still difficult.
And then it was over, but not the evening. I decided to hang out with Amy and her other three friends; Hannah I had met before, Alex (who is the spitting image of my friend Andrew from Sydney) and another guy who I can't remember the name of. (Started with F I think?)
So we walked all the way across the city to the north side of the river, strangely enough to the same place I got off of my bus at the end of the line (Queen street). After getting there it seems we didn't arrive in time to get a burger from the group's favorite burger shop.
On to plan B, let's walk all the way BACK TO WHERE THE PARKOUR TRAINING IS to get a milkshake from the place around the corner. Surprise surprise, that place closed 4 minutes before we got there. So the girls got milkshakes at the ice creamery next door, Alex ordered waffles and ice-cream with the two lumps of ice-cream being the beginning of many testicle jokes. (Anyone wanna lick Alex's balls? =D)
The walking wasn't so bad, the new friends I'd made started up a sensation called 'the jukebox' where we all sing whatever songs we know together and loudly when we can. We all sung some Queen, Aqua, Tim Minchin and Dr Horrible amongst other things, Amy by the way was singing R&B whenever possible from Hot in Here to Big Butts. X3
After that we all started to disperse and take our varied methods of public transport back home.
Now you can probably tell by the scroll bar on the right of your screen that my account of the night's events doesn't end here either.
I'd accidentally caught the wrong bus home, let's just say it was my exhaustion clouding my thoughts. You see, there are two buses I can take home from the city;
The 170 Service - This bus stops at the top of my street, pretty convenient but my legs were rather sore so I preffered to take;
The 184 Service - This bus stops out the front of my house literally. Ideal.
What did I catch? Neither! I got on the 180, it ends at the same place as the other two busses but doesn't go anywhere near my house!
Now I might remind you at this point that I was rather hungry, having not eaten since 9 that morning. Also, I had been needing to use the men's room since 10 that night and it was almost thursday. =@_@=
I got off the bus a short walk away from the McDonald's local to me, which is about a 30 min walk from my place. At this point I think I had walked so far that I WALKED OFF THE PAIN IN MY LEGS. After relieving myself in the restaurant I ordered too much food so that I would not have to order twice to fulfill my hunger.
As I was plowing into my burger and chips I was approached by a man in uniform who informed me "Just want to let you know that the lord is looking out for you" I think I misheard him because when I asked him to repeat himself he told me "I'm just letting you know that the cafe will be closed in 5 minutes". Good one Neko. I was in so much pain from the night that I almost jumped down his neck with my anti-preaching speech. Maybe my ears were trying to give me an excuse to rage on a kind old guard. :/
After taking the rest of my junk-food home with me on another half hour walk, I finally made it home and was received by Blit'z kind, kind face. I gave him a rough account of the night's events and he used his new laptop to calculate that I had definitely clocked 8 clicks on my pokewalker. In hindsight, I think I'd done 10+ kilometers of varied leg movement, not including the two hours spent acting like an injured ninja.
TL;DR - Last night was massive, mostly walking about the city, most of that was being lost, parkour was fun but rough. Amy is kickass.
So here I am at my computer, safe in my little room adorned with all of my digital doodads and familiar things. I hurt all over as if portions of my body have been substituted with concrete. Yay limescale.
That's all. If you read this the whole way though, give yourself a pat on the back. :3
~ Cheers

After cardio, the large group split into four groups of about 10 people and rotated amongst four traing activities, I was with the newbies and in order we did;
- Forward rolls, I did pretty well, apparently better than the friend that invited me.
After that we did three forms of cool-down;
- Arm stretch, This involves pointing your arms directly up for an indeterminate period.
I'd accidentally caught the wrong bus home, let's just say it was my exhaustion clouding my thoughts. You see, there are two buses I can take home from the city;
The 170 Service - This bus stops at the top of my street, pretty convenient but my legs were rather sore so I preffered to take;
The 184 Service - This bus stops out the front of my house literally.
~ Cheers

Where will you be staying?
At the Vibe~
How can I find you?
I may be hard to find on the Saturday but I should be at the dance on Friday and in the gaming and artist alley areas on Sunday. :3
Who will you be with?
My roomies + Broc
Are you taking commissions there? If so, what?
I'll take some names and do some sketches if there's furs willing to give me money! X3
What about free sketches?
Offer a trade and I'll think about it. =P
Fursuiting?
Nah, no suit! Oz might have a spare though.
Are you friendly?
Yep! :3
Can I hug you?
As long as you're not carrying a knife or a boner, sure!
What events will you be attending?
Dance, Gaming tourneys and maybe movies oh and timezone for sure!
What about your freetime?
Trying to get away from 'Mother Dearest' who is visiting the exact same weekend!
Meme end.~

It's my birthday!
Posted 16 years agoFirst of all, if you've decided to read this, I love you. :3
So it's my 22nd birthday and instead of asking for doodles of my character, I'd like to try something else!
Seeing as Twenty-Two rhymes with Plenty Chu (Chu being the sound of a kiss in japanese). I've decided this year I'd like to collect as many kisses from as many cute furry girls (that's all of you!) as I can. :3
So if you fit the bill (or maybe if you're a good friend of mine even ;3) then drop me a birthday chu/kiss here!
~Cheers!

Eternity
Posted 16 years agoAt the ends of their lives, three men ascend to the next existence.
The forces of the universe call out to the three men and said to them.
"In exchange for the loneliness throughout your lives, you shall each be rewarded with the woman you desire, you need only describe her."
The first man spoke up and said "I wish for a woman with a beautiful face."
And so the forces of the universe granted his wish. The man was happy by day when he saw the sunlight hit the woman's face.
The second man spoke up and said "I wish for a woman with a beautiful body."
And so the forces of the universe granted his wish. The man was happy by night when when the moonlight shone and the couple shared nights of intimacy.
The third man spoke up and said "I wish for a woman with a beautiful soul."
And so the forces of the universe granted his wish.
The man and the woman were happy for all eternity. ~

I will always treasure it.

Living Upstairs in the Iceberg
Posted 16 years agoSo I've started to settle down some, I've become a BrisFur. :3
Life is pretty sweet up here, I don't have to listen to my folks tell me to cut my hair and all that annoying crap anymore but I still get creepy over-emotion messages from my mother.
Oh well.
I live just a few blocks from the Cave, a furry sharehouse with Foxy Malone, Nikita Wolfpaw and Miles uhhh... I don't think his character has a last name so he can be Miles Mick.
I'm living with Iceleron, a polar bear, he's the head honcho here so the house is called the Iceberg.
Skating andcoffee nights are mad fun and I've made alot of good mates already up here. :3
Kita and I have a bromance going, we're just about the same guy but he's bi, employed, owns a car and has a partner... but other than those few things, we're basically the same bloke! =D
I am currently deskless, making working on my Kommissions difficult, I'm also hardly motivated with everything going on. :/ One way or another I will try to get them all done before too late!
That's about all I have to say of interest, one last shout out to
westly (http://westly-roanoke.livejournal.com/190834.html) who is doing headshots in exchange for plugging. Pussycat likes to artwhore too. =;-;=
Bai alls! :3

=;-;=Bai alls! :3
Captain's log, weather... burger-y
Posted 16 years agoWill be moving from Sydney to Brisbane in about five weeks from today!
Am exited, need to push myself out of the same old suburbs and see new ones. Plus the fur community is better up there. The good majority of the Sydfurs don't relate to me well and the community hardly meets up as a whole so I'm basically bailing.
Will miss my friends and acquaintances from around here, the fur I'll prolly miss the most will be Enigma. But oh well, can't have the best of both worlds.
Will also miss TreeMeadow a tad, I'm not exactly next door to her right now but Brizzie is further from her than I am now. :/
So I'll be trying to slug through my kommissions before the move;
~ Paul Kidd Caramell flipping badge
~ Ronyo Badge
~ Nyte Badge
~ Diego Commission
~ Kaz Cougar Commission
And maybe the other bits;
~ Enigma Trade
~ Finish Ref sheet
~ Finish rave outfit design
~ Make and Print Business Cards
~ Vulpecula and Lynx banners for Camp Wildpaw

Valentines Day Meme
Posted 17 years ago1. Are you single or taken?
Hopelessly single! =;-;=
2. Chocolate or flowers?
I can't digest flowers, so I'll go with choco. :3
3. Will you do anything special for Valentines Day?
Maybe, but prolly not. :/
4.Do you like anyone?
I can name about 5 off the top of my head. =>_>=
5. Were you dating anyone last Valentines?
Nope.
6. What would be your dream Valentines date?
If i could do absolutely anything with no restrictions on money... I'd want to cuddle up on the lounge with my sweetie with a few flicks and some nibbles. =^.^=
7. Do you make a big deal about Valentines?
Never had a good reason to.
8. Have you ever had a secret admirer?
Yeah but they've all been guys. =x_x=
9. Would you ever write someone a love letter?
Truth be told, I have a box of them, never sent one.
10. Do you believe in Cupid?
Yes, he's clearly a faggot.
11. Do your parents give you presents on Valentines?
Uhh yeah, because sympathy gifts from my Mum TOTALLY makes up for being single. No.
12. Do you still send out Valentines cards?
Not very often but I pick one person each year to receive one. :3
13. Do you like candy hearts?
Yick.
15. Is Valentines depressing?
Just a little.
16. How do you feel about PDA?
I've danced to Micheal Jackson in the middle of Woolworths, I don't think there's anything I wouldn't do in public. :3
17. How is your love life?
My what? Ouch, you got some nerve asking that when you know I'm single. This questionnaire is really insincere.
18. Have you ever been dumped on Valentines?
No, but I've been kneed in the balls. :3
19. How many roses would you want?
I already told you, I CAN'T EAT FLOWERS. =X_X=
20. Will you have a girlfriend next Valentines?
You mean this one coming or the next one? It'd be short notice if I had one already this year, and next year... I'll just mark my response as the pronumeral 'x'.
Hopelessly single! =;-;=

Posted 17 years agoThat's right, on Monday, I'll be 21! =^-^"= Wish I was still a teen... *sigh*
So! Anyone going to give me any giftie pics? :3 I might just return the favour. ;3
I like pictures of...
* Me!
* Wolves
* Panthers
* Tall girls with big curves
* Raving scenes including the previous
Also, my fursona's special little ability is to shift into other furtypes, so I want to see what I'd look like if I was the same breed of whatever you are!! =D

Cat Burglary
Posted 17 years agoWell, not theft, but definitely a break and enter. :3
I just broke into my house for the 3rd time in the 2 years that I've lived here and I'm getting good at it. Although, I think remembering to take my key with me when I leave and lock up my house would be something I should be better at.
Funny thing is I came home from work in my uniform and so that I didn't scrape it on the corner of the bricks as I climbed through the window, I had to find some other clothes (I'd almost rather sit outside in the cold for the night than scrape my torso and knees on those rough edges *shudder*) the only source I had was the garage which I never lock (it's a nice neighbourhood, maybe I shouldn't lock up the house anymore? =o.O=). Now normally some of my old clothes would be in there, perfect attire for B&E, but just this weekend gone I had for the first time ever gone through everything I didn't need and threw it away, old clothes and all.
So there I am, half of me sticking out the window of the guest bedroom, wearing my mother's denim clothes from the 80's. I gave myself a thumbs up in the mirror after my feat and to my surprise, the jacket didn't look half bad. =>.>=
I've sometimes fantasized about what life would be like as a professional criminal or as I like to call it 'domestic treasure hunter'. I'm pretty clever when it comes to covering my tracks so who knows...

Eat Fresh BIZNATCHES!!
Posted 17 years agoGood Morning/Afternoon/Evening Furries!
Haven't journaled'd here for a while so lets see if my noggin can recall the highlights since I last posted...
I got a casual job at my local SubWay! It was a real surprise and I love working there! Been there for a few months now and I can do just about anything the shop needs me to, from actually making the subs to preparing the food to cleaning the entire joint.
Last week I had an interview for a full-time position in retail (which is where the high majority of my work experience is) so digits crossed for that. X3
Been getting to see the furs a little more now that I have travel money, there was a fund-raiser for MidFurX the other night and we managed to raise almost $350 so... they can almost buy a Wii with that!
I've also picked up the ball with the drawing a little, it's been a year since I did the third page of KK and after ALOT of conceptualisation, I think I'm ready to hit it hard and make a whole chapter to print and sell at MidFurX.
Also, I love chucking the furs I know into the comic so if you'd like to be a cameo (saves me having the bum around for 20 mins to think up another character to be running and screaming from chaos) than just let me know!
Hmmm... it's getting late and there's been a bit of drama out my way today so I might end this entry here.

Ya gunnah hafta shpeak up shon, I'ma gittin' old.
Posted 18 years agoWell here it is, it's my birthday!
As of 8:34 pm I will be 20 years old. (Don't look a day over 16 though! ;3)
What have I gotten so far? Well Mum got me Musashi Miyamoto's Book of Five Rings. and Fima Possum is getting me a katana!! Who knows what other bits and bobs I'll be getting. :3
Oh and I didn't get that navy job, they declined me because I'd never had full time work and I had special help in early high-school. I mean, that was 4 years ago! What the hell am I supposed to do about it?
So now I'm back to jobseeking. (My absolute pet hate.. I would rather eat the testes of an ill goat if it meant I could get a fuggin' job) I've gotten some calls back here and there so let's hope I get something soon.
MidFur! Oh holy kerpoozles, that was orsm! I got to chill with so many new fuzzies. I had no idea that fursuits could still be so... agile! Lazer-tag was great. LAZER TIGERS!! YEAH!!!!!!!! >=D
Scrapper, you are the bomb-diggity.
Oh and I think Tora (my IRL cat/daughter) is pregnant! I'm so proud of her, she does look very boyish (like her mother) but I'm so glad she's made her preference. Oh Tora, I love you no matter what you do! *tears of joy*
That's about it for me, catch you all on the flip side furry homies!

Posted 18 years agoYou might have guessed it but... NO I'M NOT GAY!! =>.<=
I've JOINED THE NAVY sheesh! Some few weeks ago I got through the final interview of the whole Australia Defence Force (ADF) and coming January I'll be learning all kinds of Navy trades.
With the money I'll be earning (30k+) I'll be able to move out and do some travelling and get myself some nice things like:
- Better parts for the Anvil
- Graphics Tablet
- Games and Manga
- Down payment on a Car
- Furry essentials
So yeah, I'm looking forward to working hard and learning heaps of new skills, thank goodness for the ADF Gap Year program.
Also, as you'll see from my newest submission, I've become a contributor to the Southern Furlands magazine (SFL) and in thus my work will be printed in the magazine for all subscribers to see! =^.^=
My next picture is a surprise but I will say that fans of Okami will enjoy it. ( It's the one you've been bugging me about, BIG RED. )

Phew! I'ts been a little while since my course finished now and... *little little drum roll*
I got a job!! =^__________________^=
I work down the local Telstra shop. For those of you that don't know what Telstra is, look it up on wikipedia!
The shop I work at retails Mobile Phones ( called cell phones in the U.S. ), Home Phones, Internet packages and all kinds of phone plans and packages, so there's ALOT to learn! =@_@=
Now that Tafe is over ( and for those of you wondering, yes, I passed! ) I'm using my time to work and complete the things on my list ( which has gotten longer with surprise drawings for furs that I like and are generally unappreciated, so maybe you'll want to start being nice to me eh? )
It looks like alot of furs had fun with AC, I'll have to save up and fly over there next year! =^-^=
I have also been feeling a little under the weather lately and thus changed my furprint to that of of a black cat to encourage good health. ( It's a Maneki Neko thing. )
I hope everypne that reads this is doing well and made it home safe from AC!

Nervous Ninteys
Posted 18 years agoWell here I am, in the last leg of my Tafe course, Digital Media Certificate IV.
Only 2 weeks left and ( if I hand in all of my assignments ) I'll have my little qualification and I might be able to work doing related stuffs. :3
I could go on and do the Diploma but I don't have the money and I want to be able to work and fly to Amurika at the and of the year to see Alex-sama. :3
Lately I've been organising all of my tasks into a singular list, it has my Tafe assignments, half-done drawings and personal projects on it as well as a few other things.
With the list, I've been able to crack down on stuff nagging at me. Everyone I've talked to about my list says 'Oh wow, I should make one'. So maybe someone that reads this would benefit from a list?
I'm still working out page 4 of KK in my head, I was tossing up between following Koneko and Alexandra but I decided to change the subject to 'other events' occuring at the same time. :3
So right now I'm meant to be doing a particular assignment but here I am typing up a journal entry. : /
Anyway, I should get back to work,
