I'm currently in the process of finding my way as an artist in regards to style. I have found a style I think works well for me as I find it aesthetically pleasing and complements my skills. However, there may be a few major changes coming to my commission business as a result.

I'm considering the following changes:

- Removing the colored tier for regular commissions, offering only shading as well as sketch
-The typical single character price for a sketch would be $30 and $60 for color + shading, character designs will remain at 75
- Removing all patron tiers besides sketch and color + shading. If I go ahead with this my patrons will be notified a month advance before the change happens.
-Sketch will be $20 a month and $50 a month for color + shading, patrons will have the option to pay extra if they want to add extra characters

I cannot promise i will go ahead with this. But if I decide to go down this path, it's a likely change to come. I'll probably decide later this month.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas and a new years, and after all the fun and all the resting, I'm back and itching to get back to work!

Commissions are closed as I will leave to visit my parents over christmas and new years. I still have one more final commission to finish up but that should be posted tomorrow.

I've been in contact with the doctors, and I got an appointment booked for them to take a look at my arm. I asked if it was safe to me to get back to work, which they said was fine. So I'll be getting back to work as soon as possible, which is likely tomorrow. So if you need any commissions done, I'll be open, but I may work a bit slower to take a break every now and then

I believe I am developing ulnar tunnel syndrome, now it's not quite as serious as carpal, but it's still not something im going to gamble with. So I will take time off as to not strain myself further until I've been to the doctors and see what they said.

My friends, It's difficult to express my gratitude to all of you. Everyone who has shown sympathy, given me encouraging words. Sharing your own stories of loss, it's been of such of such incredible help to help me out of these dark dark days of sadness and depression. Sure, I may not have healed completly, it'll take it's time. But I feel good enough to see the sun rising at the horizon finally. Happiness is coming back to me slowly but surely.

So, my bearded dragon is impacted possibly, she's been at the vet, and they want to do some further investigation before deciding on a course of action. I already spent $460 USD on the first visit to them, so i'll probably do some YCH's and stuff to make a bit of extra money to hopefully cover for the costs

I'll be going to my parents for midsummer celebrations on the 19th, and I'll be back on the 23rd, so no new uploads in that time.

Since FurAffinity now actually dynamically fits images to your browser window size, i feel comfortable to start uploading higher resolution images in the future. I never enjoyed going to look at an image and you see less of a quarter and have to start scrolling around to look at it. Ruins the entire experience of the image.

Great time to get a commission, fast turnaround.

I'm thinking of re-doing Riilu somewhat, but not in appearance, I want to give him a new power, and explain his physics defying powers. In my new Riilu back story, Riilu was actually born as a completely normal, albeit very uncommon lizard in the depths of the South American rainforest But one day, when the lizard was hunting food it strayed far away from its territory in its hunt and it came across an ancient temple from one of the pre-columbian civilizations. The lizard hunted the prey into the ancient temple, and the small animal would hide under a jar filled with magic from the ancient humans.
The hungry Lizard trying to get the small animal, accidentally manages to smash the ancient jar and suddenly, the lizard was imbued by the power of it, And he suddenly grows to a more humanlike shape, his mind expands and he becomes human intelligent. And he's blessed with two powers, first that which is already known, elasticity, and deformation without damage. But then, a new previously un-mentioned power would come to, super-regeneration, No matter how much he's destroyed, as long as there's just the tiniest little bit of him left, he can regenerate completely. Although the regeneration cannot happen instantly after destruction, it can take weeks until the regeneration can take place.
Finally, he learns his name... Riilu.


After all of this, his backstory would remain as it always had
humanity finds him, captures him, thinks he's cool, takes him to the west for study
This is so Riilu will not have to rely on cartoon logic to come back after being utterly destroyed, and give his superpowers a source.
