Lucky Squirrel! [Engaged!]
Posted 12 years agoIf you're visiting my page, many of you have probably already seen 
's Journal. But, I figured I'd give my side!
First, I should preface that redadillio and I are both gamers. Maybe not hardcore, but we love playing video games. We both grew up with Nintendo and for our first Valentines day, we exchanged Nintendo DS systems. redadillio had been customizing old Nintendo cartridges with his own labels since May-ish. I even have a couple he customized for me. This Christmas, he made me one with me (in squirrel-form) and Chirisu (my pet). I opened that up yesterday and I was so in love with the idea, I said "Make this happen!" Well, the very last gift I opened was a DS package with the same art on it. I looked at him quizzically, then opened the box. There was an instruction booklet, very detailed, and a DS game cartridge with the the same art, as well. Then I asked, "Is this playable?" He didn't answer. So, he grabbed my DS and popped it in. It was a REAL WORKING GAME with characters he and I have created. So, I played through the game, oohing and aahing at the details. Then, at the end, there was this tower my character had to climb. There, I met redadillio, and he does this long spiel about our 5 year journey together and the character asked, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" And there was a "YES" and "NO" button. I hit "Yes" of course, but not after I said "Yes" aloud. Hahaha! It's a really cool little game and I can play it over and over again and relive that moment. It was pretty awesome. I'm so lucky to have redadillio in my life! ♥

Thank you all for sticking with me. I know I haven't posted anything in... forever? But, I'm starting to get back on the drawing horse. Now that I've adjusted to my newer schedule (after 8 months?) and I have 3 days off a week (unless I do overtime) I'm able to dedicate some of my time to drawing!
I'm gonna post some stuff I've been interested in. redadillio bought me some Bogus Sketch Paper, so I've been doing some coloured pencil sketches on that. And, of course, with Pokemon Gen V having come out, I've had some inspiration from that as well.
I just want to thank you all again for watching me, and I hope *crosses fingers* to be a little bit better at posting art!

He has come out with the Lenny Elkhound: Intern To Adventure Graphic Novel.* The graphic novel collects chapters 1-7 published in Radio Comix's Genus (chapter 7 will be in the next publication), plus two epilogue stories. Also, there is never-before seen sketches from and commentary!
There is also a Guest Gallery that features art from

I feel more like a snail than a squirrel sometimes.

Actually, I have done more art in the past week and half than I have since December, so that makes me feel better. Here's a little list of what to expect in the coming month from me:
A fully coloured image!
A ref for my male identity, Carl
Facial expression practice (a project for my LJ)
Some random pics of things
Not too much, but it's good to set goals. :) I am also hoping to get back to being a little more active in the community (faving and friending and stuff). We'll see how that goes.

A Return to Squirrel-dom!

svearose. I decided to use my character name, Korinna Feh for my artist identity because I feel closer to it. I mean, I'm not really Swedish (or not enough to use "Svea" in my name) and also it's a lot less confusing to have three names.
Any new artwork will be uploaded here.
I will make an announcement on my old account in the coming weeks after I get this account set up more. But only one announcement. So, I guess those of you who are here now are privileged to see me work this page from the ground up.
Anyway, that's about it for now. I will try to update this account more often with journals and art and scraps and squirrels!
