Greetings! I inform you that next Monday, October 28 I start my 5° YCH, and it will be a special one, my first YCH with NSFW theme, I was hoping to do it much later but things have been complicated for me financially and I must try to work a little more.

This YCH will last from October 28 until Friday November 1st or until there is an AB, I will work on the pose this weekend and I will start working on the YCH 2 or 3 weeks after the auction ends, since I will be working first on completing a couple of commissions I owe.

I mentioned before about working until December 15, and I want to take at least 15 or 20 days off from work, hoping to finish YCH2 before that date....

Well, unfortunately I did not achieve what I expected, I'm still working on YCH2 and I still think it will take me several more days, unfortunately I will have to delay again the personal art I wanted to do for my oc Kral 😢, it saddens me a lot not to achieve this on time, but I must continue, I will continue working until I complete YCH2 and start YCH3, the last one I will do before resuming commissions.

I may start working on the 3rd YCH for January, but I will prepare it this month if possible, since I need to collect something for Christmas, this YCH will be of a single character, I still don't know the theme I will use, something simple and only one character.

I'm still very slow working and 2 or more characters just make me take even longer, I'm happy with my art and all the progress I've made this year, I feel I'm drawing better, with more details and better quality than I did years ago, still experimenting and learning new tricks to speed up my work, but I still lack practice, I'm still taking a long time and I need to improve that.

I need to practice more, I hope 2024 will be the year were I can practice more, simple things, personal art, and things that are not only commissions, I hope my patreon can help me with time to allow me a balance between work and practice, as other great artists in the field do.

December is starting, I hope I have the time, these next 14 days I will try to work as much as I can, and try to finish the second YCH.

Unfortunately, too many setbacks these last months, too many problems and I have not achieved what I hoped to achieve, save money for my PC, I get very discouraged these days because since I did my first YCH I tried as much as I could to save for my PC, but life sometimes gives you unexpected problems and in the end, the savings of my pc went to solve those problems, .

In January I hope to resume work on saving for the PC and start from scratch again, It has been a difficult year for me, but I feel hopeful that I will be able to achieve things next year, I hope my laptop will be able to hold up.

Hey guys, a little informative update on the next YCH and stuff.

Donations, Ko-fi and Patreon:

I wanted first to thank everyone who has supported me these last 2 months with donations in Ko-fi or directly, you have no idea how helpful it has been.

Thanks to those donations, thanks to my last commission (in which I still work) and my first YCH I managed to raise enough money to reach almost 77% of the funds needed to be able to buy the future new PC that I still need. Unfortunately I had to use part of that money to cover some emergency expenses recently, dropping from 77% of the goal to 48%.

This represents a couple of steps back to the goal of buying the new PC, but not too many thanks to the donations I received, again, thank you so much to everyone who supported me, it means a lot.

All this has made me consider Patreon, honestly I never liked the idea of using Patreon, I know it's a vital space that many artists use nowadays, but I didn't think I could use it for several reasons, you know me, I'm not very fast to be able to offer monthly prizes to my possible collaborators on Patreon, I don't manage discord server, so I can't offer that as a prize, I can't offer direct commissions on Patreon because I already have a wait list of people waiting, all that plus I don't like paywalls, I prefer that everyone can see what I publish and draw and little by little grow my audience with my art.

I always thought that if I would use Patreon, I would use it as another tip jar page like I do with Ko-fi, or as an area where I can offer monthly prizes to people who support me, but I'm still far from being able to do that. I hope in the future I can develop a simpler and faster style of drawing that will allow me to do these monthly prizes, but right now, the only thing I work with is my detailed style and it's a style that I really appreciate and enjoy drawing, but as you can see, it's something that takes me a lot of time between drawings.

However some friends have recommended me a lot to simply have Patreon as a second Tip jar and additional gallery, and it's something I'll be working on a bit in the next few days.

About the next YCH:

As you can see I just published a wip of my work with the magic minotaur and I have just finished the lineart of the whole drawing, I started almost a month on this and well, once I finish this commission I'll start with the second YCH.

Unfortunately I have taken a long time on this job, but it also has a higher level of detail and work, it's an important job for me, as it will establish the level of quality and detail that I can offer in my work, YCH and commissions, not only characters but also backgrounds.

The time I take between drawings / commissions is still my biggest enemy, but I hope to improve my times and continue to offer art for you guys ^^.

I'm saying all this because I'm thinking that the next YCH can be something bigger so I can make it easier to reach the goal of the money I need to finally buy the new PC.

I'm considering doing a YCH with 2 or 3 characters, so I think there is a better chance to get closer to the goal or even completing the goal in my next YCH.

I haven't thought about the poses yet, but I have a basic idea of 3 characters fighting against enemies out of the frame, as a united group, I still have a fantasy mood so I thought about an idea of a group of 2-3 characters as a group of adventurers like a D&D group, a spellcaster, an archer / rogue and a warrior or paladin.

Another idea I had was 2 fighters in a boxing or wrestling ring, but I like the idea of a group of adventurers better.

If you have ideas, comment them, they will help me to make a decision later, I also want to know your opinions.

I'm thinking of maybe in a couple of weeks trying a YCH, I've never done this kind of stuff, and I still have to think about it a lot.

Normally I would continue with my commissions, since I have quite a few people on my wait list, but I'm entering in a emergency, my old laptop is possibly in its last moments, it has many problems of overheating, it shuts down a lot by thermal shutdown, sometimes several times a day, and neither cleaning it inside or changing the thermal paste can solve the problem.

I've talked about it with friends who know a lot about computers and they all recommend buying a new PC, so I thought I'd do a YCH.

I don't have the details yet, I want to at least finish with one or two drawings that I have in wip and my current commission so I can work with the YCH with more calm and concentration.

I'll also put a goal on my Ko-fi soon if someone can help me with this, but first I must find out how much will be the budget of the parts of my future PC.

I'll give you more information later when I have less doubts about how to do this YCH, dates of when it will be and other details ^^

Man today is the day, 500 Watchers! I'm so happy! >w<

I've been here since 2016, posting my art little by little, the last 4 years have been an attempt to become a freelance artist, and only these last few months I've finally managed to become one.

Since I have been here, I have had the opportunity to meet so many fantastic people, who have helped me to improve as an artist, I'm very grateful and I feel very lucky to still be here.

Thanks for the support, it means a lot to get here, it has cost me a lot, I hope to keep improving and growing as an artist, I still have a lot to learn and a lot of ambition of how far I want to go ... I hope I have luck with that hehe.

2021 has surely been a difficult year for many of you... Covid still causing worldwide chaos.

Personally it was a very complex year, on the one hand I feel that I have been able to build a good base to continue as a freelance artist, I have learned a lot throughout this year, it has been the year in which I have studied and practiced digital art for the first time, and I have also been able to offer my first digital commissions.

I've been lucky to surround myself with great friends, who have helped me throughout the year, and I feel very fortunate to continue sharing my art, and improving as a person and as an artist ^^

... But it was also a very hard year for me... it still hurts me a lot... I still miss him very much...

But I must continue, for him, for my friends, for my family, and for me, I can't stop.

I don't know what 2022 will bring me, but I hope it will be a very positive year for everyone, I will make an effort to continue improving my work as an artist, and I hope everything goes well.

Yesterday was a very nice day to be with my family, to talk with family and friends, and to spend time with friends online for a couple of minutes because I was not at home hehe.

I also had a deep sadness... because, I couldn't share time with someone, it still hurts a lot... but everyone's company helped me a lot to be strong.

I'm writing this with a lump in my throat, but despite everything, I feel very fortunate to have met so many people who have made my life happier in this last few years, to have them as my friends, to have my family, and all the people who support my art... it's the best gift I've had in a long time.

However in the next few days I will be creating my wait list for my commissions but also set a reminder to everyone, as I will only start attending to the people on my wait list, as soon as I finish with the people I have on my current commission list.

I wasn't planning to make this journal, I was directly thinking of publishing the new price list and clarify new things in the next post but, I prefer to make a clarification before publishing this update.

In short in the next few days I will publish my new commission price list, along with new details of products that I will make available with my commissions, this will be in effect from the next commission I attend, including the people that are on my current commission list... I will talk to each of the people who have slots in my current commission list the day I publish the new list to see if they agree with it and if they wish to keep the slot or leave the queue.

It scares me to death to make this decision but I have to do it, I'm sorry if this upsets people who are currently on my commission list, but I have no choice.

In the last few days, many close friends have been helping me to realize a lot of things, about me, about my art, and how I manage my work.

Also because of the pressure of my reality here in my country, things are not going well economically, and that has broken my fear to raise prices of my art, and now I'm haunted by the fear of knowing if I will be able to produce enough money for how slow I'm working...

Pricing my art is something that has been hard for me to do for a long time... but mostly because, I didn't feel that my art was worth so much... I've always had problems with this, and even more so when I compare myself to other artists... it's something I still do to this day... and it tears me apart and I still suffer a lot of discouragement when I do it, it's something I'm working on overcoming with therapy, and of course with the support of many friends to whom I will be eternally grateful, because it's never, NEVER good to compare yourself with others, nothing good ever comes out of it.

Excuse me if I get too personal here, I shouldn't talk about this but, I must because these things help me to gain courage and confidence in myself, and, even knowing how negative I'm with myself, realizing that what I do, the effort I put into my work, has more value of what I see in it... it helps me to feel more hopeful about my future, it helps me to know that, almost +12 years of drawing in my free time, have not been a waste of time.

The truth is, December is coming, the year is about to end, I have had many problems at home, especially health, the money from my commissions has gone mainly to my mother's health, and it is hard for me to save and invest in improving my life.

It doesn't help either knowing that I don't make enough money with the time I put into my work, since I started this year to work in digital drawing, I have learned a lot, these last commissions I have completed and the commission I'm still working on have helped me to learn to do better quality work and details that I had never been able to do... but that comes with a cost in production time that I'm not able to avoid...

I know that with time I will get better and more skillful with my drawings, but right now I don't have time, I have to value my time, therefore, I have to raise the prices of my art... I hope you can understand this.

I'm very afraid of how this news will be received by the remaining people on my current commission list who are waiting to be attended by me, because they've waited a long time, and I know I've done a crappy job as an artist by not being fast enough to attend to them more quickly...

I opened these commissions in April of this year... 12 slots (big mistake), I have completed 6, working on completing the seventh, I still have another 5 slots to attend to, that's my reality... and it's painful for me to realize this, I would like with all my heart to be more efficient, faster, but I'm not... not right now...

When I publish the new prices and new products (reference sheets, backgrounds, stickers), I will check with each of the remaining slots on my current commission list and see if they agree... I will understand if they wish to leave the commission list... if all of them decide to leave the commission list, I will accelerate the opening of the commissions, this time with a wait list system, if not, well, I will work with those who remain until I complete the current list.

There are still some adjustments that I have to make, but possibly by this Sunday I will be publishing the new price list.

Hi there, today was my first psychotherapy, and honestly it's the best decision I've ever made, it has helped me reevaluate many things I need to do, organize my thoughts, and organize the way I work.

I still have many problems to solve, mostly personal and social... but I hope to advance in that little by little.

I will continue with the therapy for an indefinite period of time since I must continue to take care of my mental health, luckily the doctor did not diagnose me with depression or attention disorder.... which is what I thought was wrong with me, but he did see a lot of very low self-esteem, and a lot of self-disgust for myself... things that lead to depression if I don't deal with them in time.

It has been a great relief today to know that, I have hope... and I can't finish writing that without shedding a couple of tears, I'm very grateful to many friends and family members who supported me to go to therapy today and seek professional help, I have no words.

It's time for a change for the better, and I hope to achieve it, thank you so much for the comments and support I have received in the last few days, I love you all very much!

Hi guys, I'm working on the commissions, but I'm falling behind... sorry for the delay.

These last few months I've had some personal ups and downs, but I decided to seek professional help, in the next few days I will have an appointment with a psychotherapist.

I'm honestly a little scared... because I don't know if it will help me... I'm desperate to stop feeling like crap.

But I hope that everything goes well, and can help me to improve my work, my life and... to feel better.

I forgot to mention it here, but on my twitter account and my telegram channel, I've been uploading timelapses of my last 2 works!

Yesterday my best friend and some DMs were asking me if I could upload a more complete version of my last timelapse, or a slower one, as they are interested in how I developed some parts of the drawing, Clip Paint Studio allows me to record 30s, 60s or full length of the project, on my twitter account I upload the 60s version, so I also decided to export the full length, this kind of full timelapse will be exclusive to my Telegram channel, as the video file is too heavy and long to post it on twitter, it will also depend if the export is not pixelated or distorted.

Clip Studio Paint sometimes exports with bad quality the recordings, unfortunately it's random, sometimes it works well sometimes terrible, but if the result is good I will post this kind of full timelapse here in case you are interested to see my work process ^^.
